$210.00 WaterproofSorel Joan of Arctic
$79.99-$150.00 Waterproof

FINALLYi have been looking for the perfect pair of winter boots for quite some time. i originally had the sorel tofino but the pull strap on those broke after wearing a few times. i tried the sorel joan of arctic premium, which are beautiful boots BUT the sizing is so off on them! one size was way to big, the next size down was way too small. before giving up on sorel i tried the regular joan of arctic and these are them! my usual size (which i tried in the premium and tonifo) fits perfectly and these are quite stylish. i guess with sorel you really need to try each and every boot in multiple sizes to find which works for you. most people say these run big however they are nowhere near as big as the joan of arctic premium. thanks to piperlime for the great customer service & free shipping!

Perfect snow boot, but where''s the snow???The Sorel rep lives on in this boot. I'm a size 8, 5'6 and thought them to be a perfect fit despite others reviews. I do think if you are shorter they will seem a tad cumbersome. The breaking in period is a process. My first outing in them was like walking in my ski boots, but they are getting better and are going to be my go to snow boot if the snow ever shows up! They kick any other boots butt with their style & function!

Great Winter BootsYou can't go wrong with Sorel and these boots are cute and tough at the same time. Perfect for our Minnesota winters. I originally had ordered up a half size based on the other reviews, but ended up sending them back because they felt too big. I would recommend ordering your regular size.

Best boots I''ve ever owned!Like other reviewers have said, these boots do run a size too large (I'm an 11 and I bought a 10, they're perfect). I also noticed that they rub on the back of the ankle but I found that a pair of thick socks (which you should probably be wearing with these boots anyway) and tightly lacing them takes care of the problem completely. The first time I ever wore these boots was to walk 8 blocks to the grocery store during a snow storm. I felt like I was taking a stroll in the park, these boots have amazing traction and they're amazing for anyone who lives where snow storms are frequent, such as the midwest...or alaska. Definitely worth the investment as Sorel boots have a reputation for lasting a LONG time, unlike Uggs, which maybe last 3 years if you baby them and waterproof them constantly (speaking from experience).

Gorgeous and comfyI bought these boots because I love the sorel line. They do tend to run about 1/2 size too big so size down when you order. I did read some comments about them being stiff and hard to walk in. the nature of Sorel is the genuine hide which is naturally stiff. This is the reason my first pair of Sorel lasted 20 years! I only bought these because I wanted a new style. Don't expect to run in these boots but they are still very easy to move in. I found them extremely comforatble and warm plus they look good with jeans and a sweater. I love these boots and would definitely recommend them.

love these!I'm from Minnesota, so I am verrry familiar with Sorel boots. The pic of these caught my attention b/c they seemed much skinnier than their brother...the pack boot. I didn't know about the fur though... When I got them, I fell in love with them! They are functional and wonderful. Skinny around my legs and tall enough to wade through the feet of snow we recently got and not worry about wet pant cuffs. They aren't a fashion piece. Get these to go sledding, snowshoeing or skiing... Today at Panera a cute, fifty ish year old man walked up to me and said, "Where did you get your boots? My daughter is scoping them out..." HA! Cute!

Sorel BootsI love Sorel boots and when these came out I just had to have a pair. I did read the other reviews before I bought mine and most were saying to go down a size because they ran big so I did and they were too small. I returned them and got my true size and they are great...maybe just a tad wide but get your true size.

AMAZING!These boots are so comfortable and so warm that I would never again buy any other boots but Sorel. They are a little pricey but definitely worth it!

PERFECT winter snow boot!If you live in a snowy area - these will be great! Mainly they are functional and great quality (as Sorel always is) and they are cute to "boot"! Win Win in my book. If you are a TRUE 1/2 size - order UP a size. Believe me - I am a 7.5 and ordered the 7 due to other reviews and my toe hit the end with just regular trouser socks on. The 8 was much more comfortable and enough room for thick socks. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because for my thin foot - even with thick socks - they are still really wide. Winter fun, here I come!

Nice boot, but not as warm as they claimI like these boots. No blister problems with the stiff leather backing, though I can see why some have a problem. I am currently in very cold climate (below freezing with 5 inches of snow on the ground) and my feet were freezing yesterday after wearing them outside for an hour. That was a disappointment as Sorel claims these ... keep feet warm to -32 F. I was at a Weihnachtsmarkt in Germany in -4 C and my feet were like ice. Other than that, I am happy with my purchase. A fully functional, nice to-look at winter boot --a refreshing departure from UGGs.

Sorel Boot runs LargeThe Sorel Boot runs large. I usually wear an 11 and after reading other reviews, I ordered a 10 and they were still roomy. I really liked the boot and the fact that the liner can come out however after wearing them for 5 minutes I could feel the boot rubbing against my ankle. I noticed several other people had this problem. My daughter wears a 10 and tried them on - same problem with the boot rubbing against the ankle. So, with regret I had to return them. If you are looking for a nice waterproof warm boot this would definitely meet your needs. My husband has a number of Sorel boots and swears by them.

Great classic bootsThese are the classic Sorel boots that are the ultimate winter boot. The fit seems big at first but is fine with thick socks; I bought my usual size. My only complaint is that they do make your feet look BIG!

love the ''bousSaw these boots in the [...]magazine and absolutely fell in love. I just received them as an early Christmas gift and enjoy them even more than imaginable. I read reviews before asking my parents for them and had them order a size down and they fit perfectly!! The are rather clunky so if you are looking for small, sleek boots these are not for you, but if you want big comfy boots these are amazing! I am sure I will be a Sorel wearer for years to come!

Very warm, nice shoesI just got the shoes about a week ago. First of all I want to say that it was my first purchase with Piperlime and I am so impressed with their [...] packaging [...] Now the shoes, at first they look huge but then when I put my feet inside I realize that they are actually a great fit. The are big because there is so much insulation inside and also it accounts for thick socks. The boots are great, I love them.
UghWow - the other reviewers weren't joking when they said these boots make your feet look HUGE. I felt like I was wearing clown shoes when I wore them during the recent snowfall. I usually wear an 8 or an 8.5; I got these in the 8 and they're big in the foot while being too tight at the ankle, making it difficult to walk. Another thing that really annoys me about these boots is that there is an inner, insulated sock that is super tight, so when you pull your feet out the insulated sock comes out too, so you have to stuff it back in before you can wear the boots again. There have got to be loads of better snow boots out there... I sure wish I had ordered one of those. I ended up wearing them because I needed warm, waterproof boots to wear in the snow so I can't return, but will most likely offload these on [@] They're HORRIBLE.
No way.I actually saw these boots last year and was excited to order them when Piperlime had a 20% off coupon. However, when I received them, I was very disappointed, especially since I've been looking at them since last fall. I'm a size 7, and these boots made my feet look HUGE. I know that snow boots are supposed to be big and chunky, but these were ridiculous. Maybe on someone tall they would look less ridiculous, but for my 5'4 size 2 frame, they looked like clown shoes. Honestly made it look like I had size 11 feet. Unless you are looking to make your feet look 4 sizes bigger, find another pair of snow boots!

Sorel Joan of Arctic

Sorel Tivoli
$110.00 $99.99 Waterproof

Super Cute!I bought my daughter a pair of the sorel tivoli and they were so cute I had to get a pair too!

Nice and warm for the Windy CityI ordered these boots for waiting for the bus in 0 degree weather - and they did not disappoint! Maybe I just never had ... warm before, but I was blown away by how toasty they kept my feet. In Chicago winters, I usually wear 2-3 pairs of socks, but any more than 1 pair with these Sorels, and it's too hot! Not to mention they're super cute. Love them!

Sorel TivoliI started out buying and wearing the red tivoli boot by Sorel. So warm, comfortable and cute. Now I've purchased this houndstooth boot with the neon pink laces. Everyone asks about them. Great for Minnesota winters. Ran a bit short and narrow so I bought up a full size- perfect.

Pretty nice, definitely warm!I love these boots. I looked forever to find boots that I would like and that were also fairly reasonable in price. I had heard that Sorel was a good brand for boots and read SO MANY reviews before purchasing. Since there were very few comments about dissatisfaction I purchases these and like them a lot. They are very comfortable and fairly light for a boot. They keep my feet very fair and dry from the elements, but sometimes my feet get so warm they sweat and them my boots are a little damp (but warm still). I have always had an issue with sweaty feet so this is nothing new for me. I love the pattern too. I got the houndstooth patterned boots that come with 2 different sets of laces which is pretty cool. Probably 50% of my decision of buying these boots came from the pattern actually, it's my favorite. The loops where the laces go into are very sturdy and these boots look pretty cute with pants or even leggings. I have trounced through rain so far and they have withheld, and I am excited to try them in snow! Also, I liked the fact that if you buy from piperlime, you have a 30 day free return if you don't like something.

Sorel is the Best, but my other pair are nicerI haven't bought new Sorels for 14 years, and was only looking for a new pair because my shoe size has changed since I bought my first pair, and they were kind of tight. My first pair are still perfect! I bought these because they were cute and on sale, and I thought they said they had a liner. When my ... showed up, they didn't have a liner so I was a bit worried. This pair isn't as comfy as my other, and when I tried to use the new pair with my old liners (from a size 8 to a size 11, I bought large just in case, I wear a 10) they were as tight as it was wearing my old pair.. kind of weird. I thought I would test them without the liner, since I was trying to get away from cramming my feet into my boots. I wore them in 2 feet of snow and for the most part they kept my feet warm. They also kept them dry. Although I wish they had the nicer feel of my old Sorels, at least they do the job and are cute.
leaky boots!I just wore my boots in the snow for the first time and both socks were wet! The inside of the front of the boot was wet.. I am so disappointed. I called Sorel. They are sending me another pair. I packaged mine up and sent them back. I am hoping I have better luck with the next pair. They are cute and comfy but I need a waterproof boot living here in New England!
terrible bootsNot only are they not slip resistant, they are actually very dangerous, i used to wear sneakers to work, but being it's getting cold and i'm in and out all day i wanted something warmer, so when i saw they were waterproof and slip resistant i decided to splurge on them, well, when the floor is even slightly damp these boots slide as if you are wearing ice skates on ice, since i've been wearing them i've almost fallen at least a dozen times. As for being waterproof, even in an inch of snow my feet end up soaked. For what i paid for these boots i expected A LOT more, i've e mailed the Sorel to make them away of how unhappy i am as well!

Best winter boots ever!!!These are hands down the cutest, warmest, nicest winter boots ever! True to Sorel size, which to me means they run a TAD wide to accommodate thick socks if you choose. If you do not wear thick socks you will be fine they are not sloppy, and your foot will not be sliding all around. (I have a slightly narrow medium foot also.) They have great cushioning on the foot bed and are comfy for all day wear. Great for stomping through the snow with my kiddos, and for wearing w/my skinny jeans to be cute and warm. Get compliments on them all the time! I wear a 7 and they do not look overly large by any means. BUY THESE BOOTS NOW!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!

I AM IN LOVE!!!!! :)These boots are AWSOME! I wear an 8.5 and bought the 8 (fit perfect) ..I have never owned a pair of boots that I look in the mirror at so much.....Every where I go people are like where did you get those boots....LOVE THEM WITH A PASSION....the QUALITY is totally worth the price....WARM WARM WARM!!!YEAH I didnt mind spending the $$ on these....SMOOCHES to SOREL!!

Great winter boot!I've been wanting a pair of Sorel boots since last Winter (lots of snow in the Midwest!)... I ordered the boots in a size 9, as I always wear either an 8.5 (dress shoes) or 9 (boots, athletic ... etc.). The boots arrived and were way too big (length and width), so I ordered an 8. The 8 fits well...still a bit wide, but they will be wonderful with a thick pair of socks. Bring on the snow!!

More than what I needed...I liked these boots, but as other reviewers have said, they run about a half size small. I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered an 8, which fit well, however they do indeed make your feet look huge.. But, these are heavy duty boots...if you're planning to spend a lot of time walking through deep snow, they would be perfect since the boot shaft is quite tall as well. But I really just needed some boots that would get me to and from the office and keep me dry on winter errands, so I sent these back and went with the Sorel Tofino boot instead.

DisappointedI have owned leather/suede Sorel boots for the last 4 years. They have been amazing throughout fall and winter MN weather. However, it is time to replace them. I thought these boots would be a good replacement, but they were not nearly as nice of quality. The size was accurate, but they are clunky and heavy. They definitely feel like snow boots. I wouldn't recommend them for everyday wear.

Ugliest boots ever?I ordered these boots because I thought they'd be nice and warm and also cute in a Nanook of the North kind of way. Warm, absolutely -- that's why I gave them the two stars. (Also, Sorel boots are really waterproof and have great traction.) But oh my word, they are hideous on. I have slender, shapely legs -- I look slim in pretty much anything -- but the way these are cut, they made my legs look just super fat and shapeless no matter how much I tightened the laces. Also, they have the terrible look of appearing to be *trying* to look cute when they resolutely aren't. (A kind of "Emperor's New Clothes" effect, if you see my point?) Save yourself the hassle of sending these back -- get the Joan of Arctic or another style that's trying less hard but will work equally well!
