Love these These are my third pair of Carson Ballet Flats! I now have them in black, crinkle and brown. My feet are narrow, and it is very difficult for me to find flats that stay on my heel. These do! They are super comfortable. I have never had a blister or sore spot from these even when I wear them the first day. The black ones have become my go to shoes. I normally wear a size 9 in shoes. I went down a half size. The toes are a bit tight at first, but stretch to fit quickly. I highly recommend these if you are looking for a nice ...
Runs true to size... After reading all of the reviews, I ordered a size 8 (the same as I take in Frye boots)...but ended up having to exchange for a size 8 1/2. I do have a wide foot (bunion) and narrower heel. I ordered the Iris color for spring, and think they will look so cute with colored skinny jeans or pretty colored dresses. I also own a pair of the textured Frye flats in a camel color- also went with 8 1/2 in these. I can see myself having a lot of this shoe style in many different colors!!

Love I'm not usually a big fan of spending a lot of money on flats but I have been searching high and low for some nice navy flats since last spring. These ballet shoes in Iris are lovely and the perfect blue for the red dress I plan to wear them with. The leather is soft and the fit is great. I ordered both the 61/2 and 7 based on other reviews and found the seven's too big. I wear a 7 in Frye boots but ballet flats I'm usually slightly smaller. They are very comfortable, they almost feel like a second skin and I don't think they will need to be broken in at all. They are a little slippy on the bottom as other reviewers have said but you can get stick on bottoms that make dress shoes more grippy from any shoe repair shop. I am VERY picky about the shape of the toes on dress shoes, I don't like them too pointy or too rounded. These are perfect. I should mention that the 7's had a funny shape to the toe but perhaps it was just those pair? I really hope that these little shoes last as well as my Frye boots have because they are exactly what I was looking for.

Soft and comfortable I have been looking for a neutral ... long time. I have tried on a lot of flats and often, they rub and give me blisters on the heel. This is a comfy shoe, and the leather is really soft. The silver and off white coloring make are actually quite neutral in appearance without being boring, similar to how a snakeskin pattern could be worn in a neutral way. I wear a 6.5 (7 in boots) and bought the 6.5 without any issues.

Very Pretty - Great Quality - True to size I bought these flats on sale. However at the time many had posted they ran half size small, therefore I ordered half size down. They were really tight! However, I liked them very much! Therefore I exchanged them for my true size. They haven't arrived yet, but they felt comfortable in terms of soft leather, heel height, etc. therefore I think they're going to be great.
really cute ... i own another pair of frye flats that i absolutely adore. the leather on these flats isn't quite as thick (as they are ballet flats) but they are extremely comfortable and very cute. great for spring.

So I think clearly I am a 7 in this shoe. Unfortunately, the 7 is way too tight in the toe area. The leather is soft and feels like it may stretch, but not enough to be comfortable in the 7. Since the 7.5 already felt big, any stretch would make it unwearable. Sad, I liked the look of this shoe, but now having to return the second pair.
ballet flats The lucky brand emmie ballet flats are really nice. I purchased them in black and with the goatskin pattern it looks like a really expensive shoe. I usually wear a 5 in sandals but took a 5.5 in closed back shoe and it fits comfortably. The shoe conforms to the foot with no bulging out and makes a slim foot look even slimmer. I love the ballet flats that are the rage this season and have several different pair and these are a nice addition to my wardrobe.
Perfect black flats I have been searching for awhile for simple, cute black flats..... These shoes are great! They fit nicely but don't walk miles in them :) Heels hurt after a few miles. (my fault not the shoes!) Definitely would recommend!
Nice ... This is a really nice ... debated a long time whether or not to keep them, because I have a narrow heel and tend to walk out of flats and/or get blisters because they don't hug right. These were almost perfect. I was afraid that they might stretch out with wear and that the elastic part wouldn't hold my feet in. If you don't have really narrow feet, you'll probably very much enjoy this shoe! Classic look and otherwise comfortable.
Great ... I now own 2 pairs of these flats (Black & Rose color) and Love them! They are exactly what your getting in the picture shown. They are comfortable & were true to size for my foot. The rubber sole is wider on the bottom then most previous flats I've owned & hopefully holds up better. Overall Great Leather Ballet ...
Love these flats!!! These are really cute and comfortable flats. The fabric did start coming loose after wearing them a few times making it look older than it actually was. Although I love the color and pattern, the leather might have been a better option. All the same I love these flats and wear them often!
So comfy! These flats are super cute and ultra comfortable! they are also versatile and not too flashy. You can dress them up or down. I love the soft leather. I liked them so much I bought two pair!
cute shoe, true to size Got these in today and am super excited! Ive been wanting some neutral ballet flats for awhile now. These are pretty comfy, a little snug on the heel where the elastic squeezes your ankle but Im thinking that will stretch out with some wear. Only complaint is the nude color (i think its called something rose in the listing) is a little more gold shimmery than the picture lets on to. Its still a pretty neutral color but if you were buying these flats to wear specifically with something that needed a nude I don't think you would be happy with the real color. But if you are just wanting some comfy, neutral flats these are perfect! Overall very satisfied with them. I wear a 8.5 and thats what I ordered and they fit great!
Oh so close! I have had an eye on these babies for weeks and I just recently received them in the mail. I usually buy size 9 for flats and 8.5 for heels. I knew for these 9.5 would work best, and they did! In the past I have had trouble looking cute in Gap's flats/shoes. Gap's shoes are usually too narrow and small. I wouldn't consider my feet wide, but certainly not narrow. I loved these shoes because I didn't have any toe cleavage...which is hard to find with long toes! I am returning these though :( I just felt like the vintage satin fabric will get to dirty too fast! I ordered the lime ish green color. I thought it was going to be a bit more of a lighter green and honestly I felt like my feet looked like Tinkerbell's shoes. I would differently give these shoes another try, only I would request different fabric and color.
Different fits btwn colors/fabric! I've ordered 3 different colors of emmies and they all seem to fit pretty differently, the biggest problem seems to the how tight the elastic is- which really depends on luck it seems. Before I get into it, my normal size is 5 1/2 (which is pretty consistent for flats). For shoes and boots I'm sometimes a 6 and for some heels and sandals I go down to a 5. My feet are also relatively slim and bony. Pair #1 a light cognac/tan pair in 5 1/2- LOVED the color, length fit okay- but the elastic was overly tight and very painful so I would've gone for the 6 but it was sold out so I returned this pair. Pair #2 "Tortoise" color. Got a 6 this time, length a bit roomy behind the heel yet the elastic was still a tad tight. I really liked the design so I ended up keeping these, but long wears are painful and leave blisters so I need to wear a bandaid with them. Pair #3 "Arizona blanket red" I got a 6 again and found this one was MUCH more comfortable than the tortoise 6's. Also tried the 5 1/2 but again the length fit but elastic didn't allow a comfy fit. I really liked the design so kept these in size 6, no bandaids with this one. I'm giving 3 stars overall because the fit varies due to the elastic tightness (and possibly fabric?), and because I'm not a fan of the bottom of the heel being a circle.
LOVE, but wear out so fast! I absolutely love these flats... I'm in New York and need cute flats for all the walking around town I do... heels are way too delicate to survive a daily commute in this town. I love the look of these flats, and find them to be super comfortable - My ONE complaint about the shoes is that they wear out soooo quickly. My feet are a bit wide, so the leather on the right side touches the ground a bit and has busted open at the seams with less than two months' worth of wear. :(
Inconsistant I bought a pair of these in the tortoise pattern and love them! They fit perfectly and are pretty comfortable as far as flats go. In need of a new pair of black flats, I decided to order a pair. This time, however, the elastic is too tight in the back causing my foot to scrunch to the front and kill my toes. Also, for whatever reason the black pair are very uncomfortable in the heel. So, I'm returning the black pair and continuing my search.
