LOVE!!!! absolutely LOVE these new espadrilles! They got the height right and the elastic band is perfect for comfort!! Can't wait to wear them!! I'm ordering the brown right now!!

The second pair that I bought gave me a little blister. Not sure why one pair is more comfortable than the other. Will probably have to put a little padding on the inside to prevent another blister. Perfect Espadrilles! I grew up wearing espadrilles (made in Spain) so I know how they are supposed to fit when you first buy them. These fit the bill exactly. I normally wear a size 8, sometimes a 7.5, regular width. I ordered these espadrilles in 8 and they fit like brand new leather gloves or brand new soft ballet slippers: uncomfortably snug but the true length, without extra toe room. They will give or stretch with time and in some cases may even slip off if they had extra toe room! If you have wide feet you may have to try for a larger size. As soon as I got mine I started walking around and they are already feeling fine. Espadrilles are very particular and you should not expect them to fit like dress shoes, as they are rustic shoes.
Perfect summer shoe! I was a little nervous about ordering these after reading several reviews about the fit. I am normally a size 6 so I ordered a size up, as recommended, and the 7 fits perfectly! Alot of reviewers mentioned that these are narrow but I have wide feet and the width of the shoe isn't a problem for me. Love these espadrilles!!!
Cute shoes, but... These ... really cute in person. I ordered the gold ribbon pair and they are a great neutral for the summer. However, they are definitely a full size too small and somewhat narrow. I would recommend order one size up from your normal shoe size. I ordered a size 7 (and I normally wear a size 6) and they are still somewhat tight, but I think espadrilles do stretch out over time.
Update to 6/28/11 Review The first time I wore these shoes the rubber bottom started to tear apart. I will be sending these back and will most likely not order a replacement. I'm a huge Kate Spade fan so I'm very disappointed in the quality of these espadrilles.
so comfy, I am back for more. I bought these espadrilles in a neutral color for last Summer and wore them right into the ground, they are a great height, easy on/ off and most of all really comfortable. I am hoping that the black hold up a bit better (my reason for one less star), but in all honesty, I am REALLY hard on ... sale price with the additional discount, I went with the style again for this upcoming Summer, and have become quite a fan of the brand in the meantime.
