Super Sneakers I wanted a comfortable knock around pair of sneaks. These really fit the bill. Very supportive with a great boat shoe bottom and ultra suede on the inside of the tongue. Fabulous construction. Kinda retro. I bought in a size I would normally buy for casual ... they fit well with plenty of toe room.
Bought these for everyday walking and they're comfy enough. The regular converses are known to lack cushioning but I think these Jack Purcell ... have better cushioning. They look great and would be perfect to go out in as well.
Jack Purcell This canvas sneaker is a great casual shoe. It is a much better alternative to the Chuck Taylor Converse, which can sometimes look clownlike. You can wear these with shorts, jeans rolled up with a cute jacket or blazer or even a little summer dress or mini. I usually wear a 5.5 or 6. And always wear a 6 in any type of sneaker or athletic shoe. I originally ordered a 4 but had to exchange for a 3.5. So I would say these run a full size big.
Cool and comfy kicks! I love my Jack Purcell's! I've always been a traditional converse girl, but after trying the JP's, it's going to be hard to go back. The foot bed has so much more support than a regular converse- it's like walking on fluffy pillows! The only downfall is that they don't come in a wide variety of colors. I wish every color of the rainbow was available! If that were the case, I would buy at least 7 more pairs! As far as fit is concerned, the sizes run a bit large, so order a half size down.
Comfortable Shoes I love these shoes! Very comfortable for Converse (more so than All stars). I wear them with or without socks. Fits well.
I've been wanting a pair of Jack Purcell's forever. I'm SO happy I finally broke down and purchased these. I get so many compliments, and they are the perfect addition to my classic summer wardrobe. Could use some arch support, but that's expected with Converse. Money well spent!
very cute I wanted these shoes for two years. i finally broke down and bought them. They are so classic. They aren't the most comfortable. I think they might break in a little. I have owned converse before and they take some time to break in. They always seem tight in the toes. Otherwise I love them.
Stylish, But A Tad Narrow These shoes are adorable, and they have a great sole (very padded and comfy), however, the first day I wore them I got a blisters on my small toes due to the shoes being a tad too narrow. I have decided to keep them because (1) otherwise they're super cute (2) I'm hoping that this issue will be resolved with a little breaking in, and (3) I don't want to deal with the hassle of yet another return (I was sent the wrong color initially). I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone who doesn't have a wider foot, and would recommend them with reservations to people who do.
Pleased...however... I just bought these sneakers for the first time online. I was pleased with the actual shoe but I must've read the reviews wrong about the size. I bought them in a mens 8 which is 2 sizes smaller than a womens 10. I could barely get my foot in the shoe!! LOL. Thats cool. I will be returning it for a larger size. Unfortunately, there aren't really any stores in Greater Philadelphia that sells the Jack Purcell version of Converse. So I have to go through these lengths. But this is a great shoe.
disapointed I didnt like the style of the shoe so I sent them back, wish I woulda got regular converse.
