LOVE THEM!!!! Just received my ... ordered Graphite in Womens size 7. I wear 7.5 so I was glad I ordered the 7. The fit is just perfect and I can still wear heavy socks. I just tried them with both regular and heavy socks and the fit is great. Love the color! Very modern. They will go with everything. They arrived just it time. We are expecting light snow Monday and I did not want to wear my leather ... obvious reasons. I also own a pair of the Earth ... brown that I ordered from Piperlime as well. (Read my reveiw on those) They are awesome and weather/water proof too but I've worn those several times and its always fun to have an alternative pair and color. Thank you Piperlime, you are the best!
Not for women with decent calf muscles! I love these ... although I had to order a size up so my pants could fit in the ... Unfortunately, the foot part is too large now, the smaller size fit perfectly in the foot. Otherwise, they are super comfortable, wipe clean very easily, and I love the color!

Love, love, love the boots! I really love these boots! We were going to England and I knew I needed some waterproof footwear. Living in Macon, Georgia we have no need of waterproof footwear. The boots felt a little odd at first because I am not used to waterproof footwear. The boots were comfortable upon wearing as new footwear with no break in period. Barrel of the boots was just right. Worked well with leggings and more dressed up apparel. I did not wear standard jeans with the boots, barrel may not have accommodated that much bulk around the calf. The jeans would certainly fit over the boots. Love the boots! Would definitely recommend to others.
Waited 3 years for these... and it was worth the wait. I searched and searched for a rain ... 3 years that would fit great, looked mature, and under $40; I never came close. Since 3 years went by and still no rain ... decided to go ahead and spend a little more on a rain ... am so happy I did. My Hunters feel great and look so stylish. Constant compliments, anytime I wear them. Even my husband likes them (he could care less about women shoes). This is proof that the ... were worth every penny. No complaints - however, I highly recommend buying a whole size down; I am a size 6 (US) and fit perfectly into a size 5 (US) in Hunters.
So cute! So practical! Love them : ) Just received my wellies and I couldn't be happier! I had a hard time finding them, but finally got lucky on Piperlime! I bought the red. The red is a really nice color - just bright enough without being overpowering. I would describe them as an "old flag" type red. A bit muted. I typically wear a women's size 7 1/2 and after reading other reviews, ordered a size down (women's 7 US size) and I am glad I did. They fit great, even with the wellie socks (which I had to order elsewhere since Piperlime didn't have my size/color). When they arrived they were coated in a white film, but I didn't fret thanks to having read other reviews that this could happen. I took a warm cloth and wiped them down - this helped, but there is still a film there. I don't think this is a big deal. Still look adorable. These are perfect for our Buffalo winters. Other ... end up salt stained and looking yucky by the end of winter, but I have a feeling these will hold up well since I can just wipe them down. I can also look forward to splashing around with my 2 little ones this spring! Thanks, Piperlime!
Wow, impressed! After the cheap boots I purchased for $10 started to leak (and yes, way after the fact that they hurt my feet and gave me blisters) the HUNTER boots caught my eye. Handmade & sturdy boots that were made for WW I & II soldiers to avoid "trench foot" sounded really good. However, there was the problem of the price. I could not afford to purchase the boots, but; I received a BR gift card and I knew it was fate. These boots feel like a great pair of comfortable shoes when I wear them. And they look so nice with just about anything. If you have the money to spend on these boots, they are well worth it. If not, get someone to buy them for you! Very well made and very comfortable! By the way, I purchased the boots in the regular size that I wear. I made the correct choice. Had I sized down, there would be little to no room for jeans or thick socks in the calf.
Once again the UK has a superior product I just received the ... love them. They will do just what they are designed to do, and of course in silver they'll look more fashionable than usual while doing it. I ordered the US size 7/8 EU 39, and in the US I generally wear a 9 in most shoes (very occasionally an 8.5 and my foot is 10", while standing, from toe to back of heel/ankle where the heel rounds out over the sole of the heel itself). With the smaller size (smaller by 1 whole size), I still have almost a full thumb's width of room between my big toe and the end of the toe box; plenty of room for a pair or 2 of wool socks. The ... shaft comes to around 2-3" below my knee (and I am 5'8"), so very petite women may not find these ... comfortable. Also, if you have very large leg calves or are a larger woman (e.g. if you are a plus size), these ... may shove some of the flesh up above the rim of the ... even though they may fit OK, getting the ... off after your skin has been breathing will take some work. These ... measure approximately 15.5" at the outer circumference at the top of the ... rubber is 1/8" thick (not including the decorative braid that runs the outside of the ... top), but since they are made of a latex/rubber compound, there is some stretch. If you buy them and find you might be happier with the larger size, return them and see if the ... shaft is also a little larger. I could only measure the size I actually bought, so these are the only measurements I have.
Fun Rain ... The only reason I chose Hunter rain boots over other brands was the wide selection of welly socks. You could easily find a plain simple rain ... half the price, but when paired with welly socks, the boots are worth the extra money. I have four different pairs of the socks and each pair gives the boots a different look. All of the previous reviews are pretty clear, THESE BOOTS RUN BIG. I usually wear a size 8-8.5, so I ordered the 8. Even when I'm wearing the thick welly socks in the boots, they are still too big. Another complaint is they are a little tight around my calves when I wear them over jeans. I am a runner, so I have muscular calves. If your calves are bigger than average, you might want to consider getting the wider version of this ... chose the aubergine color. It seems to go with anything. Overall, I like these boots. They are very trendy right now, but they are a practical addition to any wardrobe and they are good quality.
Great, with minor flaws I've spent a lot of time researching Hunter boots. They are waterproof, and comfortable even after standing for 8 hours in them, which is awesome. They run large. I wear between and 9 1/2-10 in normal shoes. I bought a nine, and they are still roomy in the foot. I wear them with thick socks and the problem is solved. I tried on an 8 but it was too snug in the calf. I don't have that problem in the 9. Now, when it comes to color, here's what to expect. Hunter injects wax into the rubber before the boots are formed. This is to help protect the latex and keep it from degrading. In lighter colored boots the wax is not really noticeable. However, I purchased these in black, and also went to Nordstrom to look at the Hunter boots they had on display. All of the dark color ones, including mine from Piperlime definitely show the wax. It gives the boots a dusty look. None of them looked like the boots pictured with that nice glossy shine. And getting rid of the dusty look is not as easy as Hunter says it is. I tried soap and water, I also purchased a rubber UV spray similar to one recommended by hunter, and nothing worked. I also tried olive oil, and had the best success with that, but there were still some streaks, and it took a long time to work in the oil into the boots. I'm also not sure if Olive oil degrades latex, so I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it on a regular basis. My point in this long review is that anyone who buys a pair of dark colored Hunters should just be prepared that they are going to have a dusty look to them, and no matter what you do, it's never going to completely go away. If you don't mind that, I highly recommend these boots. If you have your heart set on the glossy look though, you're going to be disappointed.
Ok..Not What I thoought I had read so many reviews about how great the Hunter Boots were, so I decided to purchase a pair. I even did what some of the reviews suggested and ordered a 1/2 size down. I put on a pair of nice thick socks slid the boots on and the 1st thing I noticed is that the heel was too wide so each step I took I felt like my foot was going to slide out of the ... other thing that I didn't realize is that the buckle on the side is only for decoration it doesn't do a thing, so if I needed extra room to get my jeans down in the boots and then tighten them I didn't have that option. The best part was trying to get them off, hopfully you've got some upper body strength or someone there to help, because it's a chore. I ended up sending them back and getting a pair of Le Chameau Vierzon Lady boots, which are easier to get in and out of, have an adjustable strap on the side, and fit my heel perfectly. These boots are the comparable in price to the Hunter Boots. Now I'm just waiting for the rain.
not for you if you are petite :( I bought a pair of these recently in a size 8 womens, which is what size i normally am and they fit just fine there. the problem is the height of the ... I'm only 5'2 and the shaft of the ... so tall that it hits right in the middle of my knees making it uncomfortable while walking and trying to sit. I really wanted a tall ... fall and i'm heartbroken that these aren't working out well. if your taller i'm sure you will absolutely love these boots
I am enjoying my new ... So far warm and waterproof. It has been cold and rainy in December and my feet have been very warm and dry. The snow should come soon and I expect my feet to stay warm and dry in these ... cute, a little big in the tow, but afterall, they are a snow ... shaft is snug, just have to tug them on a little bit, but this is what keeps them from looking too puffy and clunky. I like them very much and lots of complements from women and men on the style factor. I wish it came with care instructions, so far I have not sprayed them, but I think I will soon to get ready for the sludge and snow.
