Perfect After an exhaustive search I have finally found my perfect ... am 5'10" and wanted a tall ... both casual and elegant. The color is beautiful, a rich mix of deep brown with a hint of red and black. The ... top quality, which is typical for FRYE. I will cherish them for years to come. I can hardly take them off.

Dorado Low (or High?) I have a pair of Frye boots that I've had for over 8 years now and LOVE them! Since I wear them so much I wanted to get another pair that was a bit darker and a different style so bought the Dorado Low. I love the color and the distressed look, as well as the simple, clean shape. The only thing I would change is the height, it is just a tad too high and catches under my knee. I figured they would wear in and slouch a bit so it's not a deal breaker for me, but if you are shorter (under 5'7"), I would be aware of the fact that they may be too tall of a ...
Cute, but too tall These boots are beautiful and I was so excited for them! I am 5'2 and they went right to the middle of my knee, which looked awkward, so unfortunately I had to return them.
Beautiful boots I bought these for my daughter who is 20. The color is beautiful as is the leather. Frye makes great boots...but unfortunately I am sending them back. The shaft height was too high on her leg, she is 5'4". We both love Frye boots but wish they would make more of the riding style with a lower shaft height for those of us who are not that tall. As as always Piperlime has great service!

I am 5'5'' and didn't listen to other reviews saying it wouldn't work for short people. it looks silly if I am not wearing them with pants. They look great with pants, but I dont know if the price is still worth it. I wish they were 3-4 inches shorter. It would be my perfect ... If you are tall, these boots are for you!
