I love desert boots.
These are the first boots I've purchases besides hiking boots, so I spent a long time picking them out. They are extremely comfortable (extra cushion under the heel) and I love wearing them. They don't make good summertime shoes because my feet get hot, but I can't wait to wear them with jeans this fall. The leather is really soft and I love the gingham lining. Since these are suede, I recommend buying a water repellant spray to keep them from getting spots. You can get a spray at just about any shoe store; I use Totes. My one gripe about these shoes is that they seem a little snug width wise through the front of the foot, even though I have really narrow feet. But it may just be that they need broken in. Overall, I love these boots!

oh, Yeah
I saw these and something tickled my brain. I love the utility trend and I could see these being my get- out -of- bed -and -put- on -with jeans -every -single- fall -morning shoes. They're very comfy, I could chase my kids in them no problem if I had too, and they'll go with all my casual jackets this fall, leather, wool, and sweater styles all. I do not yet know how well they will hold up, as suede is always a wildcard.. tough in weather that could get wet at any time. I can't wait for cooler weather to start the lovin! They are a little narrow but I have skinny feet so It might be a problem if you have wider feet. If you want to wear thick socks with them, size up a half a size. I never wear thick socks, so I got my true size, and they fit.. but with no spare room.. but maybe they will stretch! I dont know yet what they will do with wear.

Fashionable and comfortable
I love the desert boot look with dresses and shorts. I looked for the right boot for a long time. I wanted a woman's boot and not a sized down man's boot. I am thrilled with these. The color is perfect and the suede is very soft. They were comfortable right out of the box. Because they are made for women, they are cut slimmer and are not bulky. I have worn these a bunch already. And the best part....the price.....very reasonable. I will never be able to wear these out....the quality is what you expect from Clarks. I plan to wear these even in the heat of the summer with light summer dresses and shorts and feminine tops.

Where have these been all my life?
Seriously, how did I not own these shoes sooner? These boots arrived yesterday, and I've been wearing them all day today. I love the color, the oiled suede, and the fit of this shoe. I am a teacher and also work retail and needed a comfortable casual shoe that was not a sneaker that I could wear all day at work. This boot is the best thing I've found in a long time. I can tell I'll wear these all the time with khakis, jeans, even some casual skirts.

Narrow, but good quality
I usually wear a size 10 to 10.5 and I have wide feet. When I first put these shoes on (size 10) they were very narrow and fairly tight, but, like other reviewers, I decided to keep them and try stretching them out. Even when tight they were never uncomfortable. I would not size down, especially if your feet are wider and if they're a little snug, I would suggest giving them more time to break in. There's very little support or cushion but I went hiking in these shoes and also walked along sharp rocks and they are still strong, the sole is intact, the suede has not scratched. These shoes are a great quality and good deal for the price, just give them a couple weeks to break in. [...] nice pair of shoes.

Lovely
I really like the way these shoes look! For people whose feet are a little wide, the instep of this shoe is tight. However, because they are suede, I was able to break them in by wearing them around the house. Now they are incredibly comfy!

Classic desert shoe
I wanted a comfortable yet stylish suede boot for fall. This is a stylish desert boot and a trusted brand from Clarks. I got it in Oakwood suede. I wish the laces were a bit longer but not much complaint. Good fit, rustic look, and love the color. I wish there was more padding for the sole as it seems a bit flat. True to size.
