Good so far I ordered both the Taupe Suede and the Brown Leather. I returned the Brown leather, preferring the look of the Taupe Suede. Fit is true to size. I like how it looks with jeans, which is what I had planned on wearing them with. If the heel was a 1/2-inch shorter it would be easier to walk in them. The sole will leave black skid marks as others have said in their reviews, but if you pickup your feet when you walk (which you should be doing anyway) you will avoid that problem and the heel won't wear out as quickly. I have only had them for 2 weeks and have not tested them in the New England snow and ice for traction, but they look pretty sturdy. I will NOT be using as a snow boot of course, but for the times you want to leave your snow boots at home and plan to walk around on hard pack snow and ice, the Roar boots look capable. The cloth laces suck and I am going to replace them with stronger laces. For the price, it's hard to go wrong with this choice, especially since there are other shoes that cost 2.5X as much. If they break down in 6-months, it won't matter to me. But we'll see.
Feels Like cozy slippers! I absoulutely love these booties! So comfortable and I feel like I am walking on air.! Great with leggings or skinny jeans! My whole office was raving over them! I will be wearing them for the balance of the winter and into early spring in the lovely grey color!
versatile comfort The great thing about these booties is that you can wear them all year. In the summer and spring with dresses and shorts, in the fall and winter with tights/leggings or jeans. They look adorable and the suede is good quality. What I really appreciate the most is the stitching and how clean it is. I have them in the chestnut color. I am normally a 7.5 but I bought them in a 7 because I expected the material to give a little bit. I've had them for about 6 months and that is exactly what happened. Now they fit perfectly. To stretch them out (without getting the blisters that some people have been complaining about) I recommend wearing thicker socks with them (I did this in the winter). The price is also pretty awesome because they aren't too expensive so when you have to replace them down the road, you don't have to worry about the cost.
Great shoes! I have to admit I'm partial to Indigo by Clarks, mostly as work shoes. So far I own 4 other pairs and have been impressed by how relatively stylish and comfy the brand is! I'm also a size 5 which is a hard size to find and have found size 5s in Indigos to fit consistently well. I was looking for a pair of ankle lace boots and stumbled upon these on Cyber Monday. They came in my size and seemed to be what I was looking for so I decided to give them a shot. Shipping was really fast and my shoes arrived promptly. When I tried them, I was a bit disappointed how they didn't seem to have the same padding on the sole as my other Indigos. They also didn't fit as snug as my other size 5s. I attribute that to a slightly different fit. Nonetheless I decided to keep ... could wear thicker socks with these shoes. Since then, I've mostly worn ... casual shoes with skinny jeans tucked in. I'm usually a converse chucks kind of girl so this is a good intermediate for me to incorporate more mature shoes into my wardrobe. I found ... suitable as well for work to wear with dresses or skirts. For the price it's a great deal as these are well made, comfy ... would have preferred they came in a black leather as I don't care for suede. But black suede is a good alternative nonetheless. comfortably in fashion Loved the look of these shoes before recognizing the manufacturer's name as one I associated with comfort more than style. They took me back to the 70s when my husband wore nothing but desert ... day in, day out. These black suede booties are beautifully constructed, fashionable and comfortable. Couldn't be more pleased. Even my 24 year old daughter thinks they're the coolest.
Super Comfy I didn't buy these from Piperlime because they didn't have the color I liked. However, I highly recommend these shoes. They are super comfortable and I could live in ... have ... dark brown suede. I love wearing ... my cropped pants for a transition into fall. The heel is the perfect height. I am 5'8" and 4" heels I have trouble walking in ... these were perfect not too high but not too short. I can not wait to wear ... France and at school.
Really cute but off balance These ... super cute with a low heel. But I felt like the cut of the shoe forced me to walk on the one side of the heel. They were so cute and really wished they felt better. I returned ... but have already ordered another super cute pair of booties from piperlime.
Highly Impressed I bought these in black right before a trip overseas and took them with me as an alternate to knee high boots in case I wanted something easier to slip on and off. I figured I had nothing to lose since they were only [$]. My only worry was that I wasn't able to break them in and if I decided to wear them, I'd be doing so while doing some extensive city walking. I took a chance and wore them around while I was in Tokyo and I was so impressed with how comfortable and light they were, I ended up wearing them almost the entire duration of the trip, favoring them over two other pairs of well worn shoes with reliable comfort levels. The stitching on them makes them look a little cheap but not so much that I wouldn't wear them. I liked them so much I bought a pair in Taupe. I would highly recommend them as a cost effective alternative if you're looking for suede booties and walking around a lot.
Fantastic Buy! I was pleasantly surprised when I received my booties. They are very comfortable and the color was perfect. They were a little darker than the image, but that worked better for me. They fit true to size (I wear a 7). I have worn them with skinny jeans and with tights and a shirt dress, and received so many compliments on them. Definitely worth the purchase.
Terrific These shoes are comfortable and cute! I love them! Be sure to spray suede protector on them, though.
stylish and comfy for a wedge For the heel height, these are surprisingly comfortable and the suede is not cheap. there is no platform but there is a bit of cushioning. Overall I would say that this is my favorite boot for the winter and the best thing is that it is at a decent price! Looks great with everything!

So cute!!! They go with everything! I love, love, love these booties. They're good for walking, good for standing around in bars or at parties for a long time, and good for just about any outfit for fall. I've worn them with black skinny pants, cropped boyfriend jeans, some longer bootleg jeans, work pants, work skirts, mini skirts... the lists goes on. They're a steal at this price, especially considering how much I wear them.

I just got these booties today and they are sooooooo cute!! I can't wait to wear them this fall. The best thing about these shoes is that they make my feet look super small. :) (I wear a size 10.) I also love the wedge design which makes walking around all day in these beauties cake.
Great Lil Suede Shoe I typically don't buy suede to wear in the winter because I live in Nebraska and it snows (i.e. salt stains), but I opted for these since they were on sale and cute. I don't wear them outside if there's a lot of snow/salt on the ground, but wear in the office. They're comfortable enough to wear all day, but if you're doing a lot of walking up and down stairs, etc., I'd recommend getting some ball of foot inserts as there's really not a whole lot of cushion to help you through. Good shoe for the price and looks nice with black slacks or jeans.
Cute Cute Cute! The shoes are definitely true to size. I am usually a 5-5 1/2, the 5 1/2 is a little big, but socks/stockings help. They are comfortable and super cute, the size does not bother me enough to return them. When the suede leather rubs off, it leaves a mark, but for the price, I am happy. Oh, and the shoes make my feet look skinny and small, which is always a plus. I can't wait to wear them out!
