finally!
I have been looking for wine colored boots for TWO YEARS and this pair finally ends my quest! They are the perfect color and very comfortable. They are a bit tight in the toe area by the end of the day, but they are new so they may stretch some still. I also have really flat feet, so shoes are often a little uncomfortable at first, so I'm not worried!

You''ll keep for years
These boots first made an appearance in the ... line about 3-4 years ago. There's a reason there still a best seller when most boots have a 1 year shelf life - they're as classic, but modern, as boots can get. The wedge is comfortable, the leather is the perfect color (and soft) and the look of the ... can go anywhere from dressy to casual. I have personally been eying these boots since they first came out - yes, 4 years ago. But like every other pair of boots, I thought they would lose their appeal. I received them today, and am more in love than the first time I saw them. They have been remade by Target and American Eagle, but trust me, go for the real stuff. No knockoff has been able to mimic the feel, wear and color of these boots. I cannot wait to wear them down and out for the rest of fall/winter and for years to come! I cannot say enough good things about this ... They are true to size and the calf opening is great, even for girls like me who have thicker calves. Crazy enough, i feel like my legs look 10x better in these boots than others. Trust me, you will not regret it!

LOVE this ...
... never easy to shop for, especially online. This is my second pair of ... Madden's in this style and they are perfect. Comfy, stylish and easy to throw over leggings or jeans. They look vintage and the leather is super soft. A little roomy in the ankle but perfect on the calf - especially with the adjustable buckle. I got them in the Wine in a 6.5 and they are true to size. I always get compliments so definitely recommend trying them out.

LOVE, but so cheap
So first of all, I love these boots. I have worn them to death. Which brings me to my second point... these ... not worth the price tag when you look at the quality of the ... style and comfort? YES. I wear them with literally everything. But after purchasing them this fall, I am already considering another pair. The heel scuffs and rubs off, and the leather dirties very quickly. My friend had these ... before i knew they were ... thought they were forever 21. Still, I loved them, and vowed to track them down. VERDICT? Buy!

LOVED these boots. Until they fell apart..
I am giving these boots a 4. I absolutely adored them for the 7 months that they lasted. The color was perfect, as was the fit and I also loved that they had a small heel. I wore them 3-5 days a week for 7 months. And by doing so I pushed them to their limit. The heels wore down on both boots and on one ... there is a large hole at the base of the foot near the toe. I took them to a repair shop but decided not to get them repaired because the repair cost was almost as much as I had paid for the boots. If you do choose to purchase these, be aware that if you wear them too often they will likely begin to fall apart.

Love the ... Great for those with calf circumferences greater than 14 inches. And believe me, there are a lot of us! There should be more ... made like this. Perfect ... wear for those days you work and head over to happy hour. The quality is just so so though...Steve Madden's quality has gone down over the years. I still recommend.

Sad to send them back
... obviously hates me. I am in love with these Intyce boots in the cognac so when they went on sale I just about jumped at my credit card. Unfortunately even though the calf width is perfect (wide enough to get over jeans but doesn't look too big) the size 10 feels like a 9.5 and is instantly painful. Sadly for me ... doesn't do half sizes after size 10 so I have to either get these in sz11 or not at all. And of course size 11 is way too big. Bummer.

I love the style of these boots, and I found them to be quite comfortable, but the leather looks SO cheap...the texture of the leather on the ... shaft doesn't even "match" the texture of the leather on the foot. It really looks and feels horrible. For the price, I do not think these boots are worth it. If you're thinking of ordering these, I'd suggest trying to find them in a store near you so you can see for yourself what the leather looks like...I know they sell them at [@]. I think many people would be disappointed, as I was, by how cheap they look in person. They look a lot nicer on the website.

Size just didn''t work for me...
Love Steven by ... but these ... just didn't work for me. I am a 'solid' 8.5 and these boots are VERY difficult to pull on with my high arches as there is no side zipper. Once on, the folder leather at the top looked bunchy... and seemed tight. Returned the boots for a different pair of same color and similarly styled boots (wedge, and buckle top) by ... size 9. Love the look, but hate the fit (for me). These might've worked if I had just traded for the next size up.
