Love mah Troopas!
I LOVE these styles of combat boots by ... I'm so paranoid that they are gunna discontinue this style so i'm anxious about getting all of the essential colors. I own them in taupe and in black now, and i'm thinking the next pair will be the brown. I get so many compliments on them. I'm addicted to these boots!

Nice! And Cheap Too!
Bought these in black - just as described, comfortable, cute and practical. Ordered my normal size and you can't beat the price. I would go as far to say that they are better quality than a lot of ... boots.

Love it!
I got these cute boots in my size, 7½, and they are perfect. Truely lovely and good for both dress down, and up. I have received so many compliments while wearing them. The only downside for me, is that they don't work so well in colder weather. They get very wet easily and your feet will freeze. But I love them. Amen ...

So comfy!
I love these boots! They are extremely comfortable and very versatile-- both in the statement you can make with them and in the different ways you can lace and fold them. I personally like them best in cognac brown. That color looks better in person than in the piperlime picture. There's a better color representation on the ... site. My only problem was the shipping, they got stuck in Maryland for forever. I told Piperlime and they promptly contacted that post office and got them to me the next day!

Great ...
I'm so glad I read these reviews before buying. I ALWAYS wear a size 8 in ... maddens, but I went ahead and ordered the black 8 1/2 because everyone else said their normal true to size shoe was too tight. it's roomy enough for inserts or thick socks which is definitely a plus. the material doesn't feel as nice as i would like but i do like the zipper on the side for easy removal.

Great for small calves and ankles
I got these boots in black. They are true to size and very versatile. You can lace or zip them. I put them on, laced them to where I wanted and now just use the zipper. The only issue is that it is small in the ankle which makes it harder to get your foot into the ... am happy that the ankle is small otherwise I really don't like it when there is extra room in that area, it looks and feels bad. I still have room to fit a pair of jeans in the boots and I am sure if you have slightly larger calves you can still make it work by loosening the laces. I should mention that the boots came up a little higher than I expected initially. I think I was looking at too many different pairs and most were shorter than these. You can get a little bunching at the top of the ... if you wear jeans that aren't snug down to your ankle. I don't mind it though. I would not recommend these boots to someone with large ankles. They do start to look distressed after frequent wear but it works with the style of these boots (at least in black). Happy shopping!

Great BOOTS!
These boots are just what I was looking for. The zipper on the side is perfect for making sure your skinny jeans squeeze right in. I have the cognac so they match with almost everything. These boots are VERY narrow so you have to wear thin socks with them- even if you really loosen the laces. Still, they are the perfect boots with dresses and jeans! I love them!

surprisingly comfortable
this shoe definitely runs on the small side - I am normally an 8, but the 8 was so narrow through the toe box that when I put socks on and stood in the ... could feel all my toe bones jammed together and could envision the pain that my little toes would suffer if I attempted to wear my usual size. However, an exchange for a half size up seems to have totally solved the issue. And, these boots are surprisingly comfortable! I have a busy life and spend most days running from one place to another, on pavement and in the country, lots of walking around - and I can say, these boots were comfortable from day one (in a half size up). Maybe they will surprise me with how well they wear also :) All in all, not a bad pair of boots for the price - decently functional and not bad looking.

Love these!
These boots are awesome. They are comfortable and super cool looking. I have gotten so many compliments on them. I love that they are very versatile. I can wear them untied over skinny pants for a casual look or lace them all the way up and wear them under slacks for work. Because they're ... I'm a little concerned about the quality and them lasting for a while. But they seem pretty well made from what I can tell so far.

Poor quality
Purchased for my teen as a replacement for her ... Girl boots. The leather looks cheap. The heel is already wearing out. The only reason I didn't return them was my daughter needed a replacement for her worn out ones and I was tired of looking. I do regret paying so much though. They are fine if you catch them on sale.

Nice simple boots
I love these boots! They are very comfortable.

Picked a winner!
These boots are well worth the reasonable price -- sleek & stylish, basic & well constructed. I wanted a wedge ... could go dressy but w/o "bells & whistles", and, one that could do jeans casual......I'm very satisfied w/my choice. Normally I wear a 5.5 but ordered a 5, and they're just right. The shaft is a little roomy but not too tight w/skinny jeans tucked in. "Piperlime" service and great attitude is definitely a plus -- and retailer w/a sense of humor these days is one to come back to, and I will.

LOVE!
I LOVE these boots! I have been looking high and low for a pair of wedge boots that wern't too high and these are perfect! I had experience so many great sandal wedges this past summer that were stylish yet really comfortable due to the wedge heel- I wanted the same for a ... very hard to find a ... wasnt too high and ended up feeling like a high heel ... (uncomfortable!) these are the ticket! It's like you're not even wearing a heel, but they have the style of a high heel! Can't say enough about them!! Great quality too! perfect fit!

These boots are an absolutely wonderful purchase. They are super comfortable and stylish enough to go over skinny jeans or leggings or to wear with a dress. They are very versatile and I would most definitely recommend them to anyone!

Black Boots
Weird story behind these boots for me. I bought these exact same boots at[@] for [$] I saw them on Piperlime by ... same price so I opted to return the others so that I could use my BR card get 10% off Tuedays and earn points. I like them they don't slouch on me but I have big calves. I am worried about the material but for such a good price I could not turn them down. Also fits true to size.

Wanna Be FAB!
These boots are FAB!!! If you like something different from what everone else has that's hot & fabulous at the same time, these are the boots to have. I love the sand because I have a ton of black boots, so these definately hit it! Be advised they don't come in 1/2 sizes so you have to figure out what size to buy. I bough the 9 & 10, the 10 I had to put on two pair of socks and my feet were still sliding and the ... sagging at the ankle, so I went with the 9 which fit fine due to the round toe and it hugged my leg nicely, also the price was dinomite. I"m only giving it a 4.0 because I couldn't get it in a 9.5.

Nice boots
My dog recently ate my last pair of black leather boots and if your a ... lover than you know how hard it is to find a pair that fits perfectly and goes with everything. I wasn't crazy about getting suede but they were a hot pair of boots that I thought I might be able to do an 8 hour day in and still have feeling in my feet. They are almost perfect, I'm still not thirlled about the suede because you have to watch out about the weather more and they are a bit wide in the calf ( I was looking for tight) but every pair I find is either too wide or way to tight so I can deal. They are a sharpe looking ... super comfy! I wasn't to sure about them but they are very nice, worth the money if you take care of them.

Too Big, Too Small
I just could get the right fit with these beautiful boots. 8's were too big and 7's were too small. They were exactly the look I was going for but the fit was not right and even if it were, they didn't feel like they be to comfortable.

NOT a ... fit/thin girls
I'm 5'9" 138 lbs and have an athletic build. I have athletic legs that are toned but not skinny. This ... fit good at the foot (a bit roomy for my taste but tolerable) but the shaft is HUGE. Way way too big for this kind of style which should be snug on your leg. There's elastic on the shaft so you can see that the designer gets that it's supposed to fit like a sock. It does NOT. My 14" calves were swimming around in there like they were cowboy boots. Very unattractive. If you have heavy legs or are otherwise chubby, these may a good choice for you. The concept is nice. they have the potential to be really sexy boots, if only they fit.

Just Didn''t Work
These boots are so cute, I really wanted to like them. However, the fit was just off--very narrow in the ankle, tight through the calf and then a little too wide at the top which made them gap. Also, I love a platform, but these made me feel a little like David Bowie in the 70s. Sadly, I had to send them back.

Just as Happy as the First Time!
I bought a pair of ... Candence in cognac last year and loved them! When I decided to get them in black this year, I was afraid I'd be disappointed - how could I love two pair of boots equally as well? Well guess what...I do! As if loving to wear them and loving the looks of them isn't enough, I constantly get compliments on them, and no one seems to recognize that I have two pair of the same style boots - they look so different! I can't say enough about these boots!

excellent everyday boots!
I definitely just found my new favorite everyday boots in the ... Candence! True to size, they look great with dresses/skirt and jeans - just the perfect ... kick off the fall season. If you have bigger than normal calves you might have a problem, they are a bit snug, but they worked for me in a size 7 no problem, and I have about a 15" calf. I am thinking of buying them in brown too!

LOVE THEM! My new favorite boots!
I spent an entire day at the mall looking for black, knee high boots that were comfortable, yet chic. Not having any luck at the mall, I checked Piperlime and found these ... boots. I absolutely adore them! I've worn them with leggings (to run errands), jeans (for a night out with friends), and even with dresses (to work). They are just so versatile and very comfy!! The top folds over to give you flexibility with the height, and the leather doesnt look cheap. Definitely a great value for the price!!

Great ... have a lot of ... shoes and boots and although the leather isn't the nicest on these, they are extremely comfortable and very stylish, a great find, highly recommended.

Great versatile ...
I love love love these boots. I did a lot of research before buying them and loved them even more in person than I did online. As with all ... shoes, they run a little small and narrow which is perfect for me. I normally wear a 5.5 and even though they were tight at first, the leather stretches well. They are also extremely comfortable and versatile. I wear them with skirts and skinny jeans; I wear them to work, on the weekend, and out in the evening and I get compliments on them all the time. The only issues are that they will need to be waterproofed if you want to wear them in wet weather and the tread on the heals of my first pair fell off and had to be repaired not long after I first bought them. In spite of this, I love this ...

Great fit, cute style, just darker color than I realized.
These boots are adorable. They go with everything, even black! They have helped me expand my wardrobe because they are warm, so I am able to wear my skirts and dresses into Fall and Winter. They're also comfortable. I've purchased shoes from ... before, and they weren't comfortable. I'm a Kindergarten teacher and have been able to wear these all day, several times, without being in pain. I'm really glad I made this purchase, I just wish they were a bit lighter in color. But, with a great fit, and because they go with everything, I'm overallyvery happy with them!

Not for the chicken legged!
Just about every ... I've ever tried has always appeared massive on me. As far as I can tell, ... basically sizes his boots to accommodate some very trendy amazonians (or ok, people from a country where obesity has become an epidemic...) so I should've known better than to order these boots. But then I was like, well maybe that gathered style will actually help disguise my unfashionable chicken legs!---so of course, I ended up ordering them. They actually fit alright because the bulk of the shaft keeps them from falling down (they're slouching on purpose here!). I was also pleasantly surprised by the softness of the leather, which i had not expected due to the pic and reviews. Really, these boots were much nicer than I expected. Unfortunately, rather than disguising my chicken legs, the gathered style added a weird disproportionate bulk to my bony legs (they looked oddly lumpy/bulky on me, which just messed up the line of my body, you know?). At 15.5' tall (in a sz 7.5) the shaft was also a bit too tall for me. But I have to give credit where it's due, because I imagine these boots might look great on someone else. Right now, I'm even feeling a little jealousy towards them.

Surprised!
I am absolutely surprised and impressed by these boots. Normally ... boots look and feel kind of cheap and I prefer Steven by ... However, these boots are GREAT! They are supper comfortable and the leather looks great. Obviously, the leather isn't super expensive...I mean these are only [$] but for the price it is fantastic. These boots are very practical and you can wear them anywhere. One more comment on the leather...normally I think that brown leather always looks better for ... shoes because the black looks cheaper. However, for these shoes it is completely opposite! I ordered both the black and the brown and I am returning the brown because it looks really cheap. The black leather looks fantastic!

Disappointed
Took a chance on these and really wanted to like them...figured it was worth a try for the price. Sadly, I will be returning them since I had the same problem as other reviewers - the boots had discolored spots in several places due to what appeared to be some sort of glue like substance. Poor quality control on the part of either Piperlime or ... far as fit, I'm 5'1" and these hit about an inch below my knee. I ordered my regular size (6) and they were a little tight but fine with thin socks or tights.

Disappointed
I have purchased ... boots in the past and these were a much lesser quality product. The leather looked very cheap Sending back!
