perfect gift!
I bought these shoes for my dad as a christmas gift, he loved them and goes perfect for different occasions. in my experience, it ran true to my dad's size.

Sperrys are legit!
I got these as a gift, I usually wear a 10 1/2 to an 11 in shoes. With Sperrys they stretch out after a while so I ordered these in a 10 1/2 cause I will be wearing socks with them most of the time. They feel amazing, and I wear them with everything...jeans, shorts, khakis, you name it. If you plan on wearing them without socks I would recommend a 1/2 size smaller than what you usually wear just so that when they are broken they wont be too big.

I bought these shoes for my fiance, and he loves them! They are super confortable and look great with pants, jeans, and shorts! I have a pair myself. I would absolutely recomend these to all!

Good buy
These shoes aren't really the color seen in the photo but it's still a very nice light tan color. They're comfortable and well put together, though they do have to be broken in a little bit. All in-all they're a good purchase.

I purchased these for my 21 year old son. These topsiders never go out of style. The tan color goes with everything. The shoes do run about a 1/2 size large. Great with khakis, jeans or shorts.

The colors look way better in person--slightly more subdued..and pretty darn comfy once broken in. Love these shoes.

My husband LOVES these shoes!
I ordered 2 pair for him to try: dark brown with the white sole and tan with the darker sole. After a terrible experience with a pair he bought at an outlet in Lancaster PA a couple of years ago, he was reluctant to try ordering online without being able to feel the sole--the outlet pair LOOKED right but the soles weren't what he remembered. After wearing them, he found out they were VERY slippery on wet floors. I told him Piperlime has free shipping both ways, so if they end up being the same as the outlet pair, we can just send them back without any cost. When the shoes arrived, he saw that unlike the garbage from the outlet, these shoes are the REAL Authentic Original, the soles are tacky so they grip wet surfaces like boat shoes should! They are exactly like the first pair he owned back in the 70's

My husband had me order these for him, and he could not be happier. They are classic boat shoes- very preppy. The laces can be tied normally (unlike photo.) They soles are white and the laces are a much lighter brown than the body of the shoe. Plus the price is great. He will be wearing them a ton this summer with shorts. If you want the classics these are them.

Best all around shoe
The Sperry Top Sider Authentic Original is exactly that - authentic. It is the epitome of New England style. Simple, classic, well, made versatile, and understated. My I favor the traditional brown with white sole as my go to shoe for everything from khakis to shorts to jeans and everything in between. They look great hanging by the beach or hanging in town. Just remember, never, NEVER should they be worn with socks. I have been wearing these since I was a kid. Order a pair today and channel your inner new england style!

Kinda Stiff
I own several pairs of Sperry's and for some reason these have taken a while to break in??? Normally you can just throw them on and your good to go no break in period, but this pair has taken well over a week. Not sure what the cause is, but either way they look great and I get a lot of compliments on them.

Made in China but still All American
I am not certain when Sperry - along with many true blue shoe manufacturers - moved their production to China, but their unpatriotic choices make me want to find another brand. It is difficult to abandon shoes - like Topsiders and Docksides - when they have cradled your feet well all your life. But alas, what is one to do? Several days ago I received shipment of a pair of Topsiders. There had been problems with my shipment - none caused by or in the control of Piperlime. Every contact I have had with staff of Piperlime has been exemplary. With expedience and grace the Piperlime staff quickly solved an issues involved in ensuring my receipt of my order. Now, to the shoes. I noted many reviews which state that Tosiders run narrow - been wearing these shoes as long as I can remember - the magic of these shoes is that they conform themselves to your feet the more you wear - especially in width. My new pair do not initially appear to be an A+ pair of Topsiders. This is no reflection on Piperlime, but a statement of Sperry's wont to shave some manufacturing costs. My hope is that retailers will put pressure on companys, like Sperry, to maintain the high standards upheld for generations. I am life long loyal, but don't mess with the quality of my deckshoes. Shoes just get an A; Sperry, the company gets a C-: Piperlime gets an A+++++.

It''s like the cheap version of Sperry''s --
The leather is quite cheap looking. There are no identifying marks on the shoe to know it is a Sperry, so for all people know -- it could be an old navy knock off. Spend the extra money and buy the higher end Sperry's. Wish I would have.
