Worth every penny! Being only 5'0", I am used to having to get even petite pants shortened most of the time. These jeans are no exception, as I will have to have about 4 inches taken off. However, the advantage of ordering these petite jeans is that the fading is more proportional to where my knees actually hit, and the flare is also more proportional to start at the appropriate spot. Additionally, the fit in the waist, hips, and crotch/zipper area is just right for my small frame. I have always loved Citizens of Humanity ... stretch and give that hug my curves, and these ... wonderful for that. They're not stiff at all, and they're thin enough that they don't really even feel like ... dark wash is perfect for dressing up for work or wearing out at night. Premium ... like these are worth every penny to me!
Not petite but my behind is oh so-divine! Same as the other reviewers, these are by no means petite ... They will only work with flats if you are at least 5'4" or 5'5". I'm 5'3" and have to wear my 2" heels to keep the hems from dragging onto the floor, even so, they deserve a 5-star rating! Once again, I find myself purchasing a size 26 -- which fits me perfectly -- instead of my usual size 27. That's why I marked this particular cut big/loose in the overall fit. With heels on, they are absolutely to die for. The dark wash makes my legs look long and slim, and my behind oh so-divine! You can't go wrong with them. The price point is a bit of a splurge but you do get what you paid for!
Even better than I anticipated! Great pair of ... had high hopes for these ... but with soooo fewww reviews I have to admit --I was a tiny bit skeptical! but as soon as I received these ... mail and tried them on --I immediately fell in love and wanted to walk out the door with them! unfortunately, I had nowhere to go.. however, these ... fit so perfectly, I can't imagine a place I wouldn't wear them to.. a nice deep dark wash that can be casual or dressed up. midrise.. a lighter weight but study feeling ... very comfortable stretch.. I'm 5'4" and they are a tad too long for flats, but perfect with heels.. according to the reviews, I guess the length varies depending on body type... you may not have the same issue if you don't have concave hips like mine.. but **attention petite girls**! --even if they are a teenyweenie longer than perfect, finding a good taylor won't do you wrong..
nice wash, but too low in rise Whoa these have a lower rise than I thought they would have...need to be able to wear to work and don't want the butt crack showing. They aren't THAT low in comparison to other low rises, but still too low for me...I have short legs and long torso--I'm 140lbs, 5'7" and curvy. looks nice on the rear and were a tad long for petite.
Love! Like the other reviews said, these run long! I have really yet to find any high end petite jeans that are actually petite. I am 5 ft tall and at this point I am very used to getting my jeans tailored (yes, ladies, even with 5 in heels on these jeans ended up hitting the ground). Aside from the height, I love them! I am built like a soccer player (athletic thighs, booty) and these jeans accentuate all the right places! I plan on these jeans being my "going out" jeans-- worn with heels, of course!
The rise just doesn''t fit right I thought my problems with Citizens ... might be solved after finding that Piperlime sold them in petites (I'm 4'10"/100 pounds). But I still have the same issue -- the rise is just too high. And not because they're supposed to be high waisted. I guess I'm just not cut out to wear these ... Love my AGs instead!
NOT PETITE I'm disappointed. I'm not sure when 32'' inseam became "petite," (I got out the tape measure and they're not 31 inches as listed) but I wish companies made actual petite sizes. These fit great except for the length. I'm not sure if I want to spend more money on altering an already expensive pair of ... especially if I don't know how they will turn out after the alterations and then I'll be stuck with them. Sadly, these are going back. It's really unfortunate because they're very slimming.
Too long for petites Love the ... especially the rinse... nice and dark! unfortunately they are way too long for a petite length. i am 5'2" and tried them on with a 2 1/2 inch heel and they still needed to be hemmed. just looked sloppy at the bottom, especially if you are going for a more tailored "dressy" look. sadly returned.
not really petite length i was SO excited to see these pop up on piperlime and i bought them immediately. however, they sadly were returned the same day they arrived at my door. overall they are a great fit and i loved the rinse. they are simply just way too long for a petite length without needing to be tailored. i am 5' 2" and typically wear a 30 or 31 inch inseam without any problems. these are listed as 31 inch inseam, but when compared to my other ... they are about 2 inches longer! i would recommend these if you are over 5'4", plan on wearing them with high heeled boots, or do not mind having them tailored.... but isn't avoiding the tailor the point of buying petite length in the first place???????

Think higher knee breaks and shorter length for an overall perfect fit. - Range of washes. All super-soft and worn in. - Chic look with super-high platforms.

PERFECT! I was really excited to get these ... bc they were a petite. when i got them i LOVED them, great color, very comfortable, and the length was absolutely perfect! im 5"5 and I can wear these with a platform without them being too short and i can even wear them with flats and they won't drag. Very happy with this purchase and would recommed them! love COH :)
Love COH ... I have been wearing a pair of Ingrid Flare ... since college. Never did I fathom wearing a pair of $150+ ... much less pay that much for them, but it has been worth it. They have lasted 6 years and still going strong. They are a lighter wash so I decided I wanted to buy another pair in a darker wash. After reading the reviews for the Dita Petites, I figured I could buy them and if I didn't like them, I could always return them. Not to my surprise, I fell in love with this pair. They are a nice wash, super comfortable, and flattering to my behind (major plus!). Based on some of the other comments, I am surprised as to why some feel these aren't "petite". I have the regular Ingrid flare which I had to have hemmed at least four inches, but the petite is a great length. I am 5'2 and these Dita's fall at a nice length. Yes, it is a little longer (an inch and half or so), but I can get away with wearing flats or heels with them without it looking too weird. I like that it falls a little longer as it gives me the option to dress up or dress down. If it were any shorter, I'd be highly disappointed that I couldn't pair it with heels. If you have the same mentality, you can't go wrong with the Dita's.
LOVE THESE ... Before I had ordered the ... read the other reviews to get a better idea of everyone else's take on them. I'm not sure why some of the reviews say these ... too long, because they are cut at a favorable length in my opinion. Yes, they have a little extra length, and I am 5'2, but my main problem with petite sizes is that it leaves me no room to be able to wear some heel with it. With these COH Dita's, it gives me more flexible options to wear whatever kind of shoes I want to wear with it whether it's flats or heels. ... fit differently on different bodies, but when I say the length of this is favorable, it really is. I have a pair of the Ingrid flare in regular length--now THAT was long which I had to get hemmed, but comparing the Petite length to the Regular length, I'd say COH does a great job to make it decent for petite women.
Great ... but not sure the length is petite These ... truly beautiful. The fabric is a bit thinner than the older style, the color nice and dark. The only thing is, I don't believe that the length is truly 'petite'. I'm 5'6 and these ... great with heels. Granted, I don't have long legs but still. However, I love the fact that finally I won't have to have my ... hemmed! :) The regular size that I wear in designer ... 27 and 27P in these ... fits me nicely (they are a bit tight but since they have a bit of stretch I think that they will form nicely to my body). All in all, I highly recommend them. They make my silhouette look slim and my legs look longer. Great fit!
great ... I usually don't order petite styles, as I'm almost 5"8 and athletic. But most designer ... super long on me, so I thought I'd try these out. The length is perfect and I can still wear them with flats or small heels. They fit nicely through the waist and hips, but I ordered a size up knowing that the "petite" would make a difference. I've washed them a few times and they have not shrunk noticeably - but I've not put them in the dryer for more than a few minutes. I would definitely order these again!
Love them! Not that petite and do go down a size! As with any lightweight denim ... my rule of thumb is to go down a size! You will not regret doing so. I'm 5'3" and 118lbs and 26 fits me just fine. This material is very similar to AG's Angelina Petite and Seven's Dojo Petite (I bought all these in 26 rather than my usual 27 and all fit well). A 5'4" reviewer mentioned that the length is perfect for her, however, if you're like me--5'3" and under (with even proportion)--the inseams do run a bit long. I certainly can't wear flats with them (oh well), so I'll be pairing these with low heels instead. They actually make me look taller and leaner. And my bum looks fantastic too! This pair is definitely hubby approved!
Very comfortable pair of ... good fit for petites, with the shorter inseam, higher knee break, etc. The ... do stretch out when you wear them and i find them quite roomy for a petite, however, I'm pretty boy shaped at 5'2", 100lbs and hardly any hips (I bought the size 24P). I love wearing these ... high heel for going out to dinner or for a more classic look than skinny ... which are my go to style. Overall, these are great ... beautiful wash, and the perfect length if you want to wear them with heels (then again, my inseam is only 29")... I'd definitely recommend these!
Great ... but not petite in length I bought these ... figuring I'd save a few bucks in hemming costs, since I hem every pair of ... buy being 5'3". But alas, they are being hemmed as I write this, probably about 3 inches worth! I am not petite in build, however, just height, so I bought the 29, as I normally wear a size 6 in regular pants. I have had two kids so the waist needs to fall at a certain area to cover the horrible "mommy" area that can interfere with a clean look when I wear pants, and it does achieve that goal for the most part. I am assuming these ... stretch as I wear them more - they are definitely not a loose pair of ... overall. I love the lighter weight denim but the darker wash. Citizens is a great brand!
Great ... Love these ... weight of the denim is great for warmer weather, making it a great all season pair of ... denim does stretch out as you wear it; not too baggy, but comfortable. I did not order a size smaller simply because the waist would have been too tight. I'm sure tossing it in the dryer will get it back to its original snugness. Overall, it's a great pair of ... shorter women. I would recommend this pair to my other petite friends.

Good but not great! I guess for the price I expected more from this pair. The fabric is great, the wash is very nice and the style is quite flattering. However, they are not truly a petite size. The length is as long as regular ... inseam is listed as 31" but my pair is a bit longer. They also seem to run slightly smaller than most premium ... do love that Piperlime is carrying high end brands - I can use my GAP rewards and get great products at very fair prices.

Too Long to Be Petite but Worth Keeping I'm about a 4 petite, 5'2", 115 lbs. with a straighter figure, as opposed to curvy but I do have fat thighs. I tried this in the 26P and the 27P, and kept the 27P. They are totally on trend, with a waist that's not too high (but not freakishly low). They have a perfect amount of flair for a boot cut. They must be altered at the hem though; it is ridiculous that these are called "petite"; the pant legs drag the ground by 3 or 4 inches. For that reason, they get only 4 stars.
Great Fit, but.... I got these jeans in the mail yesterday and they fit perfectly!, Very flattering!! That is except for the length...they are an inch or 2 too short. I am 5'6" and with no shoes on they barely hit the floor, with just flats on, they just don't look right. Returning them but going to hunt down a longer version.
size up These def run small. I had ordered my usual size and they were way too tight on the thighs. I sized up and they fit perfect on the waist/thighs. Although, they are very long for being petite jeans! I am about 5'1 and I either have to get them hemmed or wear my 4 inch heels with them. As for the color, I think they are great and they are not see through which I really love.
Disappointed in fit... Just about every pair of jeans I own are Dita Petite Bootcut jeans, all in the same size (25), so I was confident in ordering these in the same size, only to find that the fit was way to snug in the thigh/hip area. This is especially disappointing since the waist fit as usual, so going up a size for the thighs/hips wouldn't work without having to alter the waist. Had to return.
I wouldn''t call this "denim" I have 2 other pairs of dita petite jeans, and they are as expected denim. These white jeans are not denim, more like white stretch pants with a little bit of a denim look to them. The fabric is incredibly thin, don't think of wearing any color underwear other than white, and I'm not just talking a rear view of the panties, up front too. The fabric is quite stretchy but doesn't have the structure of denim. And on the sides where the seam is sewn, there's a dark white strip because the rest of the fabric is see through. definitely disappointed and returned these ASAP :(
finally found it I've gone through at least 30 pairs of jeans to find that perfect fit, and this is it! the waist is still slightly too big, but that's no problem as I can make some darts. the lengths is perfect for flats or low heels. The wash and cut are so slimming and I love how there is no flashing logo on the butt - just a small leather tab. The mid rise is perfect for sitting in any comfortable position. Great ... Just make sure to buy a size smaller as some other reviewers suggested.
Fit and Flatter I have a really hard time finding jeans. I'm short, very small up top, but with some curves in my hips and rear. Its hard to find jeans that fit around the waist but aren't too tight in the hip and thigh area or jeans that don't gape at the back. These are perfect! They fit right, and the length is just right for heels or shoes with just a little lift. LOVE THEM/
Perfect Fit I love these jeans! Finally, a pair of designer petite jeans that are actually petite. The wash is dark, just like the picture. But I think the picture makes the bootcut fit look like a flare fit - don't let that fool you, it really is bootcut. I'm 5'2 110lbs and the size 25 fits perfectly. The only thing I would change would be the thickness of the denim, they're kind of thin - other than that, I highly recommend.
Wanted to love them but... Ordered size 24 petite. I have been searching for another dark pair of jeans for the fall. Although the color is what i was looking for, the rise is much higher than described or as seen on the model. It was a bit large over all. Had to return them....search continues.
Weird cut I really wanted to like these jeans but the cut was not right for me. They rise was too high -- not right for a petite fit -- and I had to return them.
High hopes and big let down Size 24 Joe's petite jeans in 98%cotton/2%elastane mix ALWAYS fit awesome but generally they have all sorts of whiskering, fading, etc. I have found that as soon as Joe's changes their fabric contents the sizing/fit of their jeans no longer works. I have been lusting for a nice overall dark denim from Joe's for sometime and was delighted when I found the Taylor wash in the desired fabric content. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I found the fabric content and rise is not as stated above. The jeans are 70%cotton/30%spandex. They don't have the look of quality denim, do not fit at all the same (more like a 25 or 26 then 24), and would stretch like crazy even if they had fit. Also, the rise is closer to 9 inches. Overall a big disappointment.
NOT YOUR TYPICAL JOE''S JEANS I'm a huge fan of Joe's Jeans....these were not them! The material is very very thin and the jeans fit terrilbe. They were so lose in the waist. They didn't fit like any of the several other Joe's Jeans I have. I sent them back right away!
