I''m in nude pump heaven! These shoes are so comfortable - I am horrible at wearing heels so it takes a lot for me to say that about a pair. The leather is soft and easy on the achilles tendon area and there is just enough padding in the soles to make you feel like you're wearing a pair that cost 5x what you spent. Great job ... West!
Comfy From the Get Go Working in an office environment, I'm constantly wearing (and periodically replacing) a pair of black heels. I've gone through quite a few pairs of ... West pumps, as they're reasonably priced and offer a wide selection. Usually, I go with the pointy toe, but I was intrigued by the more slightly rounded toe of these guys. The reviews about the sizing made me a little hesitant, but I took the advice of ordering a half size down, and they fit great. (I'm usually between an 8 1/2 and 9). They are a little narrow, but I have wider feet and actually left me feeling like they weren't going to slip off when I wore them without nylons. The heel is the perfect height, and the slight platform underneath the footbed adds to the comfort. I wore these for the first time while hosting a party when I was on my feet for hours, and they were great! Glad I veered slightly outside my normal choice and gave these a chance.
Good work ... I love the cognac color and the heel height is perfect for work, not too high. I followed the advice of others and purchased a half size smaller even though I ALWAYS wear a 9 in ... West. The 8 1/2 fit a little snug, but they don't slip off the heel and I think they will stretch a bit. Overall, a good ... but I would suggest ordering a half size smaller.
If the ... fits... But this one didn't. I have size 11 feet that are on the narrow side and while the width was fine, my toes touched the end. Too bad, because the color was great with my medium skin tone and I really liked the wood accents. I own other, older shoes from ... West in size 11 that are just fine, so I don't know if this is a size shift for the brand or just this style.
returned I found that this ... little too big for me in an 8 1/2 (my "normal" ... size). It was also VERY loud to walk in and pinched my big left toe just enough to make it fall asleep. It's ... west so it's fairly good quality, and aside from the minor sound annoyance and the fact that it just didn't fit... it was what you'd expect.
Not impressed I didn't care for the leather on these shoes. It wasn't smooth and looked somewhat cheap. I was really surprised because I own many pairs of ... West and love the brand because of the fit and classic nature of their styles. The fit was good, but I sent them back because of the leather.
Not so great I bought these a month ago, and the edges inside are already tearing apart! I haven't worn them a lot, yet they still ripped! its not very flattering when you wear them. I always buy ... West shoes and I love them all, but this one was different for some reason.
Beautiful ... terrible fit These really do look great, but the fit is all wrong. Somehow my toes and the ball of my foot were terribly scrunched, but, as other reviewers have mentioned, my heel slipped out of the ... every other step. I own several pairs of ... West pumps in the same size that fit well, so these are something of an anomaly. If you have narrow feet, these might work for you, but order a half size down. If your feet are a normal width, find another ...
Not happy I ordered the shoes in the tortora color and the leather quality is not the best. I really liked the heel height but they are noisey when walking on tile (my co worker made a comment about them being loud in the break room). I am a ... west fan but these shoes really disappointed me. Maybe the other colors are a better quality but I am not willing to experiment. I gave it two stars because of the height
Disappointed! I wear a size 8 in every ... have ever ordered from ... West. The sizing on this ... awful. It fits everywhere but slips on the heel. I tried gel pads in the inside and also I tried no heel slips on the back of the ... None of these worked. ... fits weird.
My new favorite boots! I absolutely love these shoes! I've been looking for a pair of black lace up boots and was torn between a peep toe or closed toe and heel or no heel. I ended up ordering this peep toe heel and a closed toe flat and this one won by far! They are so great looking and add edge to any outfit. These shoes have a heel but they feel super comfortable and sturdy and I feel pretty confident walking in them. Although I love the look of high heels, I rarely wear the 5-inchers I own because I hate feeling like I need someone's help to walk down the slightest incline. These are a perfect height, especially with the help of the platform. And I like that the heel isn't chunky but isn't a crazy stiletto either. So far I've worn them with dresses and skinny jeans so I can show them off! Can't wait to see what else they go with!
