The Best snow/rain boots ever for a metropolis!
Best investment ever made on boots. In Manhattan when it snows, the corners of the sidewalks are slush. I can walk through 12" puddles and I will be dry every time. I promise, you will love them. You can also get a way with wearing a suit with these boots, they make a statement.

Best City Snow Boots EVER!
Without a doubt, the best investment that I ever made on a pair of boots. This winter has brought NYC 55" and these boots have saved me from getting wet, slipping or even sliding.. Get these boots NOW! They have already paid for themselves in only 3 weeks.

Fantastic boots!
These boots are amazing - I was in dire need of something after all the snow and rain and slush we'd been getting. These boots fit perfectly, are very comfortable, and can be dressed up or down. HUGE FAN!

Great Rain Boots
I purchased these boots last year and LOVE them. Perfect for the rain. I will say however, because they are a rubber ... they develop this white cloudy film and appear to not look like a true black when they arrived. I discovered online, that there is an item called "tech spray" that is commonly used to rubber rafts, that you spray on the boots and wipe off with a rag. It will take away the cloudy appearance. You can find it online or at most outdoor stores.

Love Hunter, but condition upon arrival was surprising.
These were a gift for my husband. He wears a 10.5 in most tennis shoes, and the 11 in these boots fit perfectly. He is thrilled to have these boots – especially Hunter, because our daughter has a pair and it's obvious that they really are the best you can buy. Since they were a gift, I had to give him the first pair that came through the mail (due to timing) and I was disappointed that they were so scuffed and scratched. I didn't say anything to Piperlime and I know they would have exchanged them, but my husband was too excited to let me send them back. He said that they would eventually get scuffed anyway, so that's what we kept. I wish quality control was a little better, but we're still excited to have the boots. I would have given 5 stars if they were in new condition.

Great for the snow!
I bought these boots for my husband for those snowy Chicago days. They are great for taking the dog out and walking to the train, and for the most part, he really likes them. Beware though, his pair in particular has a hole in the heel that causes them to squeak when water gets in. When we called to have the boots replaced under the Hunter guarantee, we were told that the guarantee is only for the boots purchased directly from Hunter. Since the hole only allows water into the heel and not the actual ... we just decided to keep this pair and live with the noise.

I was truly dissapointed...
I was ecstatic for my first pair of Hunter boots, but that changed as soon as I opened the box. The main thing that dissapointed me was the height of the ... I'm aware that they are the "short" version of the ... but they just look awkward because they're in an in between height. Second let down was the actual appearance of the product; my first thought was that someone had used them already. Although the appearance of the ... let down, I can say that they are SUPER comfy and warm and I'm sure they would've been great for these harsh Chicago winters.

[...] there's a white powder coating on them! This made the boots look blue NOT Black. [...] on Hunter's website they say to wipe down with cold water. I did and the boots DO NOT look black as in the picture being shown. SO needless to say instead of going through the hassle of sending the boots back, I'm just going to keep them and never shop here again.
