"Best Shoe I Ever Had..."
...my boyfriend says. I bought these for him after getting some Frye boots for myself. He loves them. He says they are comfortable and sexy. He wears them to work on casual days and also out at night. They are a little stiff to begin with and then loosen up. I think they look great and I love the ankle height.

Great buy
I purchased these boots for the fall season last year. What a great purchase. Great with jeans and a blazer or jeans and a sweater. They look great with khakis too. They are pretty true to size. My most favorite thing about the boots is that the longer you wear them, the more they break in and start to develop that worn look. But not beat up. I take care of my shoes, buffing and polishing when needed. But the leather wears in vertain spots and they look great. If you are considering them, I can only strongly urge you to make the purchase. I am going to order the other Frye chukkahs soon, nice to have a little variety

Good quality, but husband didn''t like.
We love Frye, and these boots were exactly what we expected from the brand in terms of quality and comfort. However, my husband just doesn't like boots in general and despite my hopes, this pair was not an exception. I sadly returned them, but would still recommend these to anyone in a heartbeat. The color is dark but casual, and I'm sure these will only look even better once they are worn in a bit. You just can't go wrong with Frye.

Great Kicks
The photo is better than the reality, but in time these boots will break in and become 4 out of 5 stars - maybe 5 out of 5. Comfortable from the first time worn. Solid construction.

Beautiful ...
Got these for my boyfriend for his bday. I am a huge Frye fan so it only felt natural that he have a pair too. The are absolutely gorgeous and can be dressed up or down, love them!

Quality boots for a good price
These boots ran a bit big...a lot of room in the toe, but they are well built with quality leather and the sole is very comfortable. I am exchanging my 13s for 12s and wearing them all around and about town.

Nice Quality Boots
I bought these boots for my son who just happens to be a Ford Model. He wore them out last weekend in NYC and said they were pretty comfortable. I would have preferred the lighter brown but these boots will be great for the winter but don't look too rugged. They are very well made and compare to wolverine or red wing. I got them for a steal for around 112.00. I would recommend these boots to any guy who wants to mix rugged with cool.

Decent Work ...
I've had these boots for about a week now and I've been wearing them as much as possible to break them in. Comparing these to other work boots I've owned, they seem to be well constructed even though they are made in China (but what isn't made in China these days?). They definitely have a nice price point once you start looking at other brands. The insole is very comfortable, but the heel seemed very stiff the first few wears. I expect that after a few more weeks the stiffness will go away. The upper is very nice. It seems to be a decent quality of leather that will age nicely. Also, make sure you wear these with a pair of ... sock if possible. Thinner dress/casual socks may cause your foot to slip around too much. If I observe any major defects in the coming weeks I'll be sure to add another post. Overall, at this point in time, I think these boots were a good buy.

Awesome boots!
These boots look great and feel awesome on your feet! The leather's distressed look gives them a look that I have not found in any other ... get compliments on them everywhere I go. They take a couple of wearings to break in, but they are of the utmost quality and durability. I wear them all of the time. My best purchase on Piperlime to date. I wish they came in black so I could buy another pair.

Great looking boots, and pretty comfortable after breaking them for a few days. Awesome construction and well made.

Solid pair of vintage boots. Had to return them twice because it was a full size too big. Cool color with nice fades that make the ... look a bit broken in. If you have the means, I highly recommend pickin' a pair up.

These are great boots. They are a bit lighter in color than I was expecting from the pictures, but not by much. They do take some time to break in, so be prepared for that. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them, and I think that they will be perfect for this upcoming fall and winter.

I LOVE these boots, but when I received them they were way too big. I ordered a size smaller and they were still to big. I'm used to wearing heels all the time, so I guess these boots just arent for me

Sweet Boots
I've never been a ... wearer, but my girlfriend talked me into buying a pair of Frye boots and I went with these. These boots are really nice. The quality is beyond what I expected (even for the high price). I don't wear them a lot, but everytime I do I get compliments from both woman and other men.

Quality, well thought out boots.
This is a seriously cool pair of boots. I bought them to use as motorcycle boots but I find myself wearing them off the bike as well. The leather is a bit nubby on the right ... shaft and flat on the left ... shaft but that just gives them character. They fit like a glove. If yours are roomy just put on thicker socks. They have stitched on soles which means they can be resoled if you ever wear them down. I am pretty confident that these will last for years but if they ever do wear out I would certainly buy another pair.

Great ... But....
I ordered these boots for my husband and I was so impressed by how well they were made and looked. I knew they would pass even his high standards but even though he is a perfect size 10.5 in every other brand of men's shoes these were too big. We called to exchange them for a size smaller but they are out of stock. Such a bummer. A local store has offered to order them for me. I wish you had separate ratings for the product and the site. I give 5 stars for the boots which are so stylish and so well made but 1 star for a site that doesn't keep them in stock. I also feel like I shouldn't have to pay shipping to return the ones that don't fit when I wanted to exhange them but couldn't because you do not have the correct size in stock.

Beautiful boot...wish it was more true to Frye's usual sizing. My boyfriend has 2 other boots from them in size 11 but the brandos are at least a half size larger then his other boots. No worries though, getting the 10.5 in then next week.

Wonderful Boots
I don't know why I hesitated to buy these boots. Even thought they are more expensive than similar ... available, they are worth the extra money. They fit very well and are so comfortable, right out of the box. My feet feel good in them, and they are very handsome. The extra quality is worth the money, I wish I had bought them a year ago. I wear these for everything, as they look good in formal and informal settings.

Best Investment you''ll ever make!
Bought these cuz they looked great, but when I got them and put them on they looked even better than I thought, I mean they looked unbeleivable. I am muscular and good looking and these boots suit me well. Get compliments anywhere I go, esspecially at clubs or parties, the girls can't stop staring at me! These boots go great with the GAP medium wash ... cut jeans and the white fitted perfect shirt untucked. These are the best boots I have ever owned and I hate taking them off. Well work every penny. BUY THESE!!!!

This is such a great pair of boots. Every guy should own at least 1 pair of ... boots. These are so nice looking! The go great with a pair of ... cut jeans. I must say very masculine looking, I look and feel great when I wear these, not to mention girls check me out like crazy. These boots have style and thats what I like. A little stiff at first, but after a short while they are broken in. I absolutly love these and can't wait to wear them on my days off!

Every guy should own at least one pair of Frye boots. This ... great classic style from Frye that like wine, gets better with age. The more you wear them, the more worn in and distressed they get (and they feel good to wear once you break them in!). You will get your $$ worth on this ... investment since you can wear them anywhere and they last forever!

This was my first pair of ... boots. I have been looking to buy them for quite some time. I ended up returning them because I wasn't too crazy about the color. the image on piperlime showed them as being much darker especially in the toe/top of the ... ones I received were very difficult to put on take off I would assume that is because they had not yet been broken in and as for the color they were too light and clean looking. I would imagine that after some heavy wear they would look much nicer but I just wasn't 100% on them. Other than that they are a great ... would order them again and plan to do so once I can find a color I like. The black is too "polished" looking and the brown which I had purchased just looked too clean and smooth. There used to be a color that was in between the black and brown like a vintage or distressed blackish brown which were very cool but I have not been able to find them anywhere.
