Bought these for everyday walking and they're comfy enough. The regular converses are known to lack cushioning but I think these Jack Purcell ... have better cushioning. They look great and would be perfect to go out in as well.
Jack Purcell This canvas sneaker is a great casual shoe. It is a much better alternative to the Chuck Taylor ... which can sometimes look clownlike. You can wear these with shorts, jeans rolled up with a cute jacket or blazer or even a little summer dress or mini. I usually wear a 5.5 or 6. And always wear a 6 in any type of sneaker or athletic shoe. I originally ordered a 4 but had to exchange for a 3.5. So I would say these run a full size big.
sizing off I'm a 7.5 in women's sneakers so I ordered a size 6 Mens per the conversion here. They are huge!! Judging from how these fit, I need to reorder a 5 ... but they have not had them in stock for the last 2 months. I hope they get these in because I really want them.
Pleased...however... I just bought these sneakers for the first time online. I was pleased with the actual shoe but I must've read the reviews wrong about the size. I bought them in a mens 8 which is 2 sizes smaller than a womens 10. I could barely get my foot in the shoe!! LOL. Thats cool. I will be returning it for a larger size. Unfortunately, there aren't really any stores in Greater Philadelphia that sells the Jack Purcell version of Converse. So I have to go through these lengths. But this is a great shoe.

Classics I'm going through my prep phase and decided to purchase these Chucks. Their a classic sneaker and versatile for any season (maybe not so much winter). However, Converse never really put an arch support in these.
Just not what I expected Bought these coz they were recemmended by a friend. When I got the shoes I was surprised how bigger it was from the size I ordered. Would've helped if Piperlime had a size measurement of "true to size", "runs half size bigger" or something like that, then that would at least helped me order a half size smaller than my actual size. Overall a fine pair of shoes, just not the right size.
Classic A classic shoe that looks great with almost any outfit and I continue to buy new pairs. There are some downsides, however: the laces don't stay tied very well, the laces are too long, sometimes they squeak when you walk. Also, be warned that these shoes fit about 1 size larger than advertised. In other words, if you are normally a size 11 then get these in size 10.
Love Them At first I was resistent to buy these shoes for my boyfriend because I wasn't a big fan of converse I feel they make feet look huge but after he put them on with a pair of dickies pants they looked great. I was really impressed with the shoes. He normally wears a size 10 1/2 which I got at first but they were falling off him had to send them back for a size 10 but they fit great he says. I will be ordering more converse for him but in size 10 so they fit nicely.
