Love these!
As my second pair of Bass saddle shoes, I can't say enough how great they are! They are extremely comfortable and break in easily. Add to that, their classic style that I've received numerous compliments on. For anyone that likes dressing in a classic, sophisticated style, but wants to add something unexepected to their wardrobe, you need a pair of these!

Great shoes!
These shoes are very comfortable. I was surprised with the fast break in period. They are also very stylish and I receive many complements on them. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

Happy Feet!
I have been wanting a pair of saddle shoes for a long time, and am totally happy with the fit. They're amazingly comfortable, and the best part is, when people see them, they smile!

Really great shoe. Instant classic. It does feel a bit stiff when you first put it on, but as the day goes on, the shoes will get broken in. Im a shoe salesman at a Belk store so im on my feet all day. I wore the shoes to work and my feet felt great at the end of my 8 hr shift, just the normal on you feet all day pain. true to size and fits like a glove. One thing i recommend is to get some water proofing spray on them because any form of water will leave water marks, but the marks went away as the water dried.

Just what I was looking for.
I was trying to find a nice pair of oxfords that could be dressed down with jeans or dressed up with khakis and these shoes deliver. I didn't notice any scuffing or unevenness in the cream color of my shoes. Wore them right out of the box all day and they fit great, felt fine (no worse than any brand new shoes that haven't been broken in) and looked snazzy. Also, I normally wear a 10 -1/2 and these were true to size.

Saddle Shoes are amazing
I love my new Bass Saddle shoes. It is nice to take a step back into americana and make a style statement that Classic is always the best. As with any new shoe it takes some time to wear in properly but so far I'm very happy with this purchase.

Looks Great!
The shoes look great and they are well made. They tend to run a little big in size. I had to exchange my original purchase for a half size smaller. Overall I love these shoes, but be warned they need a fair amount of time to get broken in. They are really uncomfortable the first few times you wear them.

My first online shoe purchase
These shoes get the most complements from people around this office. Their fairly comfortable except the uppers are super stiff. I've manually worked the uppers where the toes are and used saddle soap and leather conditioner to soften them and comfort has improved. I wear them with dark jeans and khakis all the time now.

So far so good!
I have worn the saddle shoes a few times and they always make for a good conversation.I stand at least 7 hrs a day their pretty comfortable.Since I live in the land of dust and boots and it is spring they are a pleasant change.And yes I would buy another pair.

Rockin'' Retros
These classic shoes are uber stylish in a retro kind of way. The beige colour is quite uneven and looked as though they were scuffed. When I received my second pair (a half size larger) the beige ground had the same uneven quality. It is what it is...just be prepared for it. Quite stiff at first as well, so take a second pair of shoes with you to change over lunch.

Not thrilled with this one
These shoes are made of stiff, shiny material that is just borderline plastic. While the lightness and the design are some redeeming qualities they can't make up for the questionable material.

FANTASTIC SHOES
These shoes are AWESOME i got them in black and the fit is perfect, The great thing about this shoe is that it can be worn through most seasons and can be worn "formally" with dress pants and a dress shirt or "casually" with chino's and no socks (unless you live in a place where it rains alot) . i would recommend this shoe to anyone who is looking for casual to semi formal footwear. My only qualm is that the shoe is suede so you have to be EXTREMELY careful around water and suede protector is an absolute necessity.

Fits like a dream!
I recently bought two pairs of shoes from Piperlime and both pairs are terrific. Comfortable, stylish and compliments anything I wear above them! I look forward to ordering a nice pair of wingtips next . . .

Above expectations!
These are easily the most comfortable dress shoes I've ever owned. While they ran half a size large in my case (I usually wear an adidas ... 12 for reference) the easy exchange process and excellent product quality I have seen has made this site an instant favorite for future purchases.

good shoe, good price
I ordered the first pair but it was the wrong size, I have been getting shoes a half size smaller because different brands fit differently. The shoe turned out to be small at size 11 (my size is 11.5) so I got the 11.5. [...] This is a good shoe, at a good price.

Pretty Good Buck
The color is offbeat for a buck which has generated many interested comments from people seeing me wear the shoes. It seems they are getting their head around a black buck for the first time. The shoe starts a little stiff especially in the heal support area. I am wearing a band aide to prevent a blister on the inside of my heel below my ankle. This is probably due to my natural pronation and not inherently a defect in the shoe. Since they are black suede they pick up and show about every piece of lint possible.

Not what we expected
I bought these for my husband and although they were decent, they were not shoes that really stood out. My husband did not like the laces as they didn't really stay tied and he rather a slip on shoe. I liked the suade look but unfortunately it just didn't work on this shoe. It was true to size and comfortable though.

Ordering Shoes Online
I am usually cautious of ordering clothes and shoes online. Since I have had good luck with Banana Republic and Gap clothes and shoes ordered online, I ordered from Piperlime. The shoes I ordered are not a good fit like Banana Republic. Instead of returning them, I gave them away to someone that I thought could use them, and that the fit was right for. I'll stick with Banana Republic and Gap in the future fro online purchases.
