Perfect ...
These boots are in a class of their own. Everything about them is right. They do run a little large, or that might just be the perception from the lack of ankle support. I got these because I can wear them with jeans but also they look perfect with my corduroys and other casual/dressy pants. They are really soft and look great. Get a half size lower than what youre used to. Enjoy!

Amazing shoe
This shoe isnt the omega of shoes or even boots for that matter, its just a very classy, comfortable and casual shoe. I have been a fan of Clarks for a while and have a pair of Wallabies that are almost falling apart after years of use. I would suggest that anyone using a previous pair of Clarks as a measuring stick drop your size a half, or in my case, a full size. The ... roomy in the toes but the width up to the toes is right on. The construction is quality and the leather feels great. Another quality shoe from our friends across the pond.

Dressy or casual boots
When I first ordered these boots, i got the sand color. Once they arrived I realized I should have gone with the Beeswax leather instead. Piperlime customer service was VERY helpful in getting the color I wanted ordered and walking me through how to return the other pair. Two weeks I have been wearing them and I love them (as does my wife and co workers per their compliments)! I usually wear a size 10 1/2 but these do run a bit small so I went with a size 11 and they fit very well (comfortably snug when wearing with wool socks). I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a classy pair of boots you can dress up or wear casually.

Nice boots.
My first pair of boots, these are very nice looking and comfortable. For me personally, they did not run large. Clarks always puts out a great product. The boots were a good transition from my youthful Wallaby days.

no disappointment.
desert boots are my all purpose boots this winter season. one can even wear them in the rain and not get wet socks unlike my sperry chukkas. break them in for about two weeks and you're good. very comfortable and that's probably due to their soles. if i can give one piece of advice that i got from here from another customer is to buy them a half size smaller than what you normally wear. if you live in colder climates and are forced to wear thicker socks then your regular size should be fine but if you wear normal socks...HALF size smaller. i did and they fit perfectly.

Clark desert ...
These are comfortable and stylish boots. Definitely made to be broken in and like a good pair of denim will only look more stylish with each crease and fade in color. The only thing that is a bit gross, but impossible to avoid as the souls are a very light color, the bottoms of the boots turn black after the first wear--I guess another reminder of why it's a good idea to take your shoes off after you enter your house as it's a dirty world out there.

These shoes are very very nice. They do look a little bit like work boots when they're brand new but they scuff up quickly and just get better looking.

Quality at a great price!
These boots are a winner, folks. The beeswax looks great in person, and they look better and better as they become distressed. I received these boots about a week ago, and they've already logged some serious mileage. They feel better with each wear! My only complaint would be with Clarks sizing, the boots run large. I normally wear an 8.5-9.0 US, and I ordered these in a 7.5! They are snug, but I like my boots snug.I will be buying more colors of this classic ...

Took a chance and glad I did.
I bought these boots because I needed something comfortable and stylish. I also needed something that could work hard in a Chicago winter. These have been the perfect boots. They are insanely comfortable, fit very well, and have been earning a lot of compliments. The fit and the comfort alone would be enough to recommend these to a friend. But the compliments really add to the package. Every time I've worn them, someone asks me where I bought them. My only issue is that I don't know how to treat them to repel water. Otherwise, these shoes are definitely worth it.

Great Versatile ...
These boots are great. They definitely run almost a size larger than most boots so plan on ordering 1 to 1/2 size smaller than your normal size. They will also take a little bit to break in, but very comfortable after that. They go with anything and only get better with a little age and wear.

Frustrating sizes
Clarks boots seem to vary in size. I've worn a 9 in the past, although my size for all other brands is 10. However, this time it seemed that 9 1/2 would have fit better. I may have to exchange them for a larger size.

Decent in comfort, look great
I have owned these boots for two weeks now and so far, no major complaints. They look great, especially after they have been broken in and scuffed up a little bit (adds individuality to them). My only gripes are that they run a whole size large (buy an 11 if you wear a 12) and that the tops of them are slightly abrasive on the skin. I really have to wear longer socks because every time I do a lot of walking in these boots my legs get irritated from the tops. I am assuming that the tops will soften up over time, so I'm not too worried about it and even if they don't, I have plenty of longer socks. Moderately comfortable (not as comfortable as my old wallabees). I wouldn't wear them on a hike or anything but walking around town/campus is certainly no problem.

just do it
If you can find these at a reasonable price, don't hesitate to nab them. I do recommend that you order a half size small. I usually wear a 10.5 to 11 and these 10.5's fit like 11's. From the beach to the streets these boots look good and feel good.

A classic pair a desert boots is a must, especially with autumn approaching! The bottoms of the boots do get dirty very quickly, but it gives them character - they're boots for goodness sake, not patent leather dress shoes!

TRUE TO SIZE!
Don't let anyone convince you to buy these smaller. These desert boots are true to size. They have only 2 eyelets and feel loose around the ankle, but fit perfectly on the foot. I returned the 1/2 smaller size for my true size.

Very nice. Feel good and look great.
I'm really liking these boots. They're an eye catching gray color and the suede is soft and feels broken in already. I've only worn them once or twice but the bottoms turn black and the edges of the crepe bottom fray easily. No big deal though. Like some other customers have mentioned, these look better after a little wear and tear and breaking in. When they're too clean, it's almost a negative thing. A little beat up adds flavor, in my opinion. As for fit, they're pretty true to size. A little bit narrow, but not corn inducing. Very stylish. Haven't got any comments yet, but I'm sure it'll happen soon; I see heads immediately scope out my shoes when I enter a room. So far, 4 stars. Lovin em.

Classic ... withstands test of time
Classic desert ... came back into fashion a few years ago - imo, I'd say they should never have gone out of style. Nice and casual with somewhat chunky profile. Leather breaks in nicely, becomes supple enough to wear without socks. Chunky crepe sole - very natural. Sole will collect grime easily and darken, though I don't consider it a problem seeing as they're meant for everyday use outdoors. I don't know why people here say they run true to size - they run noticeably large. Size down half a size for extra room and relaxed fit. Size down one full size for snug fit - leather will stretch later as you break it in to a normal fit. Good ... overall.

Nice kicks
These boots are classic and versatile, can be worn casually or dressed up, and can be yours for a reasonable price. The fit on these is pretty standard. By design there is not a ton of support, but the boots are still pretty comfortable. They are nice for fall, but watch out for dirt and puddles, as these babies will get a little dirty if you're not careful!

Great Boots
This is my third pair of Red Wing boots. They look great, and took only a couple of days to break in. Run a half size larger than marked. Highly recommend.

Love them
I might buy another pair, just in case they don't make them in 30 years when I need a new pair. I love these boots, they are worth the prices. People are always telling me they look great. I put Red Wing waterproofer on and use Bick 4 to help condition the leather during the break in. If I had to do it again, though, I might order them a half size small because I have a feeling the leather will naturally stretch enough so that I'll need to shrink them with a water soak method that I've read about. They are great for everyday wear and dressing up a bit.

Great boots
I bought these boots online from Japan. Being a Marine Officer and Harley Davidson owner, I wanted something that I could wear with jeans and a collared shirt but still have an edge. These boots look great with a T shirt, Polo, and button up. I highly recommend them.

Best ... ever bought
These are the best boots I have ever purchased. The fit is a bit larger than expected but a proper weight sock will fit fine, I have probably purchased too many cheap, ill fitting boots in my life. Leather is tough but pliable, comfortable within a few hours.

The Perfect Pair
I had had the same pair of Dr. Marten's for the past ten years and thought it was probably a good time to shop for a new pair of boots. I was looking for something casual that could possibly cross over with an urban dressy look as well, something that didn't have the monstrous heal and tread on the sole. I bought a pair of the Iron Rangers last Dec. and I can honestly say that these are the best boots I have ever bought, hands down. I work for a ... distributor and have owned many different brands over the years, but these have been the best by far. I was a little weary of the price at first, but in this case you definitely get what you pay for. Looking forward to my next pair of Red Wings.

IRON RANGER
Love the Iron Ranger ... First week was tough, as the boots did hurt my feet. I took them to a local Red Wing store and had the cobbler do some "magic" on them. After this and about 2 more days of good wear my feet now feel fine. I own the Irish Setter by Red Wing and the ... construction is completely different. I assume my feet were just used to the older boots. Anyway, the boots are great. They look great with jeans and chinos. I would definitely recommend them.

Iron Rangers
These are great boots. A sturdy ... prevents your ankles from rolling. They can be worn straight out of the box, but take an hour or so to break in. Hooks are an added benefit for easy, quick, tight lacing. However, just a warning, they are narrow. Overall a great ... recommend getting.

Perfect Men''s Shoe
I bought these for Christmas for my husband. He had been looking for a combat ... style similar to his Dr. Martens but was bored of the DM look. This was a great find. These shoes can be dressed up or down and don't look as casual as the DM's and actually look much pricier and of much better quality. He loved them and has been wearing them constantly. Very comfortable according to him and no break in period required. Overall, very pleased with my purchase. Love Piperlime as usual. I actually ordered two pair of boots but only one arrived. Called Piperlime and they credited my account right away, no questions asked. Great Service.

Nice ...
These boots are *so* comfortable! I wish I had bought a half size smaller - they seem to run just a little big, but I kept the size I bought because I was so excited about wearing them. Plus, I needed them. We just got a ton of snow, and these boots performed like champs, believe it or not. The oily leather is relatively water resistant, so my feet stayed quite dry even when walking through slush and snow up to my ankles. Plus they look great as far as leather boots go. I almost bought some of those suede chukkas that people are wearing right now, but I didn't think they'd handle well in the snow, so decided for this more practical solution. Very pleased!

The Perfect Chukka ...
Ive been looking at boots all winter and wanted something that would look great and have matching performance. These boots are perfect. True to size if you wear an appropriately thick sock (not too thick and not paper thin), although I do have to keep them tied somewhat tight to keep the heel from slipping. It didn't take long for them to get that "had em forever" look, within the first day actually, and all it takes is a shoe polish sponge for oiled leather to make them look like new instantly. Every single scuff Ive gotten on them so far has taken only moments of rubbing the polish in to remove. I would absolutely buy them again although from the looks of the quality of the boots so far I might not have to.

Great Boots
This is the first time that I have purchased boots online. I saw the Chukkas by Clarks and was immediately impressed by them. I bought them and have been wearing them at least 2-3 times a week and they work great. Incredibly comfortable and I get compliments everytime I wear them. I'm hard on boots, out on the trails or running around town, these Clarks take it all. I'm buying another pair in a different color.

Fantastic ...
I'd bought a pair of Clarks lace up shoes before and I didn't like them. I was hesitant about these because of the brand, but I liked the look of them so much that I ended up not caring about my other shoes. It turned out that I loved these! They are extremely comfortable and great with jeans on casual Friday. Buy them!

Rugged Version of Chucka ...
I was looking for a more rugged version of the newly popular suede chucka ... found it with this ... Clarks. Right after I got the boots I noticed that [...] (a company that helped make the suede chucka popular again) is now selling boots manufactured by Clarks. Of course the Clark boots being sold by [...] are more expensive so it makes sense to place your order through Piperlime! Go with these boots if you are looking for the chucka look, but think you might slosh through some snow in the winter in addition to walking around town.

Nice Quality Boots
I bought these boots for my son who just happens to be a Ford Model. He wore them out last weekend in NYC and said they were pretty comfortable. I would have preferred the lighter brown but these boots will be great for the winter but don't look too rugged. They are very well made and compare to wolverine or red wing. I got them for a steal for around 112.00. I would recommend these boots to any guy who wants to mix rugged with cool.

Decent Work ...
I've had these boots for about a week now and I've been wearing them as much as possible to break them in. Comparing these to other work boots I've owned, they seem to be well constructed even though they are made in China (but what isn't made in China these days?). They definitely have a nice price point once you start looking at other brands. The insole is very comfortable, but the heel seemed very stiff the first few wears. I expect that after a few more weeks the stiffness will go away. The upper is very nice. It seems to be a decent quality of leather that will age nicely. Also, make sure you wear these with a pair of ... sock if possible. Thinner dress/casual socks may cause your foot to slip around too much. If I observe any major defects in the coming weeks I'll be sure to add another post. Overall, at this point in time, I think these boots were a good buy.

Great Boots, Quality
WOW, this is an amazing pair of boots. Definitely the signature of quality, made in the USA products. These boots are made from thick, tough, waterproof oiled leather. The seams are triple stitched, and the soles are stitched to the uppers. These boots will probably outlive me and be passed on to my offspring - especially since Red Wing can resole and repair just about any issue you may have with them. Yes, they take some miles to break in, but once they do you'll be happy. To help speed the break in process I would suggest wearing them in the rain (or just getting them wet) and then do a lot of walking. Let them dry out naturally at the end of the day (do not apply heat sources or set next to a furnace or fire), and then repeat this process for about a week. They get a little warm in the summer months (sometimes I wear them on my motorcycle), but paired with a good pair of breathable wool socks, like some Smartwools, and you're warm and dry or cool and dry three seasons of the year.

Superior ...
Superior ... Fantastically sturdy but comfortable. Normally I would never take the time to write a review for a shoe, especially since I wouldn't want others to wear the same thing I like. Two reasons to write -- the amazing quality of the ... it's MADE IN THE USA, people! Yes, your purchases DO matter! Let's keep this company in business. As for the ... runs about a half size larger (maybe more) but I ordered my normal size as I always planned on wearing these boots with thick winter or hiking socks and also a gel insole as there is no real insole cushion but for the leather. Don't get me wrong, sole is top notch tough rubber and ... leather is thick yet soft -- real quality. But I walk everyday on concrete in NYC and with the support of these boots plus the gel insoles, they are a dream. Some might say breaking in time is needed but only an hour or so, esp. if you wear boots normally. Only gripe is that the laces are barely long enough for a small knot. Otherwise really worth the bucks. Awesomely sturdy and stylish yet comfortable.

Red Wing Boots
These boots are great. You can feel how solidly built they are, especially after the break in period. The workmanship is top shelf. They run about 1/2 size big and I added another 1/2 size for in soles. Takes about two weeks to break in. So far, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

GREAT boots!
I absolutely LOVE these boots, but as the other 4-star reviewer mentions, the break in period is brutal. The leather is very stiff out of the box and can take time to soften, leaving some pretty gnarly blisters behind. Wear a heavy sock with these to get started. Once they've had a few wears, they're like slippers. Had many compliments on them.

Decent
Black boots, half size smaller. pretty rough to break in, I've been wearing thick socks. I've had them a week, and I'm already wearing down the sole, I'm tough on soles. I get a lot of compliments on how good they look, but I haven't decided yet if I love them or not.

Beautiful but big!
The boots are true American craftmanship, and even better in person. Leather and construction are top grade, classic, and incredibly durable. He loved them! They ran half size big, so make sure you order at least half size down. After all these years, RedWings still make an amazing ... must have for every American man!

Great boots for Minnesota winters
Purchased these boots a few weeks ago, and I already love them. They are a bit stiff at first - break in takes a while, but when they are all ready go they are the best boots I have ever owned. Seemed maybe a half size too big - but when they break in - they really form fit to your foot. Red Wing make a solid ... - you can wear them forever. A little spendy - but worth every penny. Do yourself a favor, and pick up a pair.

Excellent boots
I've owned Red Wings before. A previous pair lasted for over 5 years of heavy use and three new soles. Craftsmanship on these boots is outstanding, boots are sturdy, Vibram sole is solid. I'm happy to see that these are still made in the USA, and the quality hasn't gone down the tubes like many shoe companies. I don't mind paying a premium price for a premium product that will last. I'm a big guy (6'4" @ 210 lbs with a size 13 foot) and I go through at least two pairs of shoes a year. I'm tired of spending $150 every six months on a pair of shoes that just end up in the trash. If you want a pair of real boots, you won't be disappointed with these. They fit like a glove, and I know they'll only get better with time & use.

Very impressed
The boots are incredible. Very comfortable, built extremely well, and they will certainly last (not to mention that they look great). They might take a little while to break into b/c of the sturdy construction, but once they do, you'll love them.

Great Boots!
Like most boots these are designed for colder weather and meant to be worn with thicker socks, so I ordered 1/2 a size down to counter this and they fit perfectly fine. These are some high quality boots! The leather is thick, rich, and has a beautiful color which I can imagine will develop a wonderful patina the more they're worn. My only complaint is that they're a bit uncomfortable (even with some new balance insoles) but they are supposed to mold to the shape of my foot so I can imagine I just need to wear them more. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and I always get compliments when I wear them.

Great ... work
The boots are a little stiff and I'm hoping they'll break in soon. My office is a on the casual side and I wear them and have gotten a few compliments. I'm not sure how long the light / white sole will stay this color but the leather uppers are a nice color that will likely age very well.

Bad Description
These boots are high quality and look great. Unfortunately, the ... received was not the same ... description. The ... received was not padded and did not have an insole, which made the ... extremely uncomfortable.

close but no cigar
although these boots did fit they were so basic they bordered on crude. The photos looked like they were lined, they are not. The arch support was minimal and the insole was not removable so I had to return them. About the only thing they had going for them was they were made in the USA, sadly for as expensive as they were for what I got makes the case for imports

Stylish boots

These boots are just what I need for that snowy/slushy Illinois winter and they look great too. I love the fact that I can wear these without my feet getting wet. Furthermore, they are extremely light weight and very comfortable. I would highly recommend getting these boots!

Exactly what I wanted.
I saw these boots over a year ago in a gap store. I've been looking for them ever since, and I happened to come across it when it was in a short term promotion.They a bit darker than the ones I saw in the store, but they are still a great casual looking boots. The boots are really comfortable; although I find it a bit unconformable if I tie it all the way up, but that's really because I never wore boots this high and I have to get used to it. They run really true to size ( but not at all like the size chart from the site). I'm a 8.5 and these boots at an 8.5 fit me perfectly. The only down side is that they scuff really easily. [...]

Great Boots, Better Exchanges
I received my boots on the first day that I was supposed to get them. I opened everything up and put the boots on to find that they were way too big. I usually wear an 11D but these boots were way too big in that size. I put them back in their box and sent them back to Piperlime. Much to my surprise, two business days later I had my smaller replacement pair, size 10 was perfect. As for the boots, they have just the look I was seeking and are very comfortable over the course of the day. The ankles are a bit softer than you'd think, but this improves the comfort of the ... My one gripe would probably be the ventilation, there isn't much at all, but these boots will be perfect once temperatures drop and the snow falls. I'm quite happy with my purchase and would give Piperlime two huge thumbs up.

Most comfortabe ... I''ve owned
These boots are by far the most comfortable I've owned. I recently had surgery on my achilles tendon and found that these boots were great after I could get back into my shoes again. They offered support at the ankle and very soft cushioning for the bottom of my foot.

I bought my pair of Earthkeepers about a year ago and I love them more today than the day I opened the box. By far this is the most durable and multipurpose shoe in my closet. Rugged enough to wear as I chop firewood, but this ... stylish enough to pair with my favorite chinos and a sweater for a casual work day. Great investment!

Nice boots
Very comfortable out of the box, these are surprisingly lightweight and soft. They definitely have that rugged look to them that look like you're ready to go hiking through the woods but they're casual enough to wear wherever you go. Wearing these makes me makes my 5 o'clock shadow come at noon and makes me want to go chop down trees. Pretty cool boots.

Great ...
This ... extemely comfortable. I've had weatherproof boots in the past that seemed to retain too munch moisture on th inside of the ... one left my feet dry and comfortable after spending 6 hours helping a friend pack up a house and move large furniture accross town.

Be Careful!
So I purchased these boots in a size 12 as a Christmas present. When he tried them on they were to big. He has never worn anything but a size 12. I then returned the boots and ordered a size 11 1/2 thinking that this size would work. Well they were still to big. I now have returned two pairs of the same shoe and have a size 11 on the way. I really hope this pair fits!! I personally do not care for the look because yes they do look worn and scratch as soon as you touch them, however he does like the look so that is the only reason i'm rating this shoe as a 3.

Always been a fan of Clark. However, I decided to return mine because the shoes look substantially wider than the regular Clark's dessert boots, which I love. Theres nothing wrong with the shoes, I just didn't like how they make my feet look too wide, especially when I wear streamlined straight fit jeans, which looked quite awkward with the somewhat more bulky shoes.

I bought these for my husband 2 weeks ago and he LOVES them! He commented the moment he first put them on how light weight and comfortable they are. The look great with jeans and on casual Fridays in the office with kacky's.

Haven't worn "Desert Boots" since about 1973. Although this version doesn't have the traditional crepe sole...these are much more comfortable than the originals. I absolutely love these. Might even buy another pair to stash away for when these wear out.

Best Shoes Ever.
I am a pretty big sneaker head. This is the first pair of boots I've bought in years, and my first pair of Clarks. The first weekend I bought them, I walked 5+ miles around Boston. I completely forgot I was wearing anything on my feet. This are by far the sharpest looking, most comfortable things I've ever worn. I bought a second pair after that weekend just in case I'm not able to purchase them again in the future.

The Best Boots
I am very picky when it comes to footwear but I can truthfully say these are the best boots I've ever owned. The rugged yet classic style perfectly speaks to my personality.

Good so far
I ordered both the Taupe Suede and the Brown Leather. I returned the Brown leather, preferring the look of the Taupe Suede. Fit is true to size. I like how it looks with jeans, which is what I had planned on wearing them with. If the heel was a 1/2-inch shorter it would be easier to walk in them. The sole will leave black skid marks as others have said in their reviews, but if you pickup your feet when you walk (which you should be doing anyway) you will avoid that problem and the heel won't wear out as quickly. I have only had them for 2 weeks and have not tested them in the New England snow and ice for traction, but they look pretty sturdy. I will NOT be using as a snow ... course, but for the times you want to leave your snow boots at home and plan to walk around on hard pack snow and ice, the Roar boots look capable. The cloth laces suck and I am going to replace them with stronger laces. For the price, it's hard to go wrong with this choice, especially since there are other shoes that cost 2.5X as much. If they break down in 6-months, it won't matter to me. But we'll see.

These boots are exactly what I wanted. Comfortable and rugged, but not overly aggressive. I've always had a good experience with Clark shoes so I plan to have these for a long time.

OK, but not the best ... I''ve had
I first followed the size chart, which corresponded to the usual size I buy, and bought 11.5 size. Those were way too big. Returned those and got size 11. Size 11 felt like they fit comfortably, but then I went out for a walk in them and later had huge blisters on both heals. I will stick with 11 because I already suffered to adapt my heals to them, but I think probably the right size would have been 10.5. (I would rather be a little loose in the heal than spend 6 months stretching out the shoe for my toes). The ... nice looking. The construction is OK, but obviously not of the highest quality. I doubt they will last as long as other well fabricated shoes I have. If you want these boots, I'd suggest waiting for them to go on sale. Not quite worth the full price.

Solid Boots
To confess these are the first pair of "real" boots I've bought, so perhaps the initial tight fit in the toe area is normal, but I couldn't get past it. The boots are nice looking and really well made.

Defective
My wife has several pairs of Frye boots. All are excellent quality and have held up well. I ordered my first pair of Frye boots from Piperlime. After wearing them twice, it became apparent that the heel isn't properly attached and the boots squeak horribly. [...] I would expect a pair of $200+ boots to last more than 2 wearings. [...]. My family will never order from Piperlime again.

Wonderful Boots
I don't know why I hesitated to buy these boots. Even thought they are more expensive than similar boots available, they are worth the extra money. They fit very well and are so comfortable, right out of the box. My feet feel good in them, and they are very handsome. The extra quality is worth the money, I wish I had bought them a year ago. I wear these for everything, as they look good in formal and informal settings.

Bought these cuz they looked great, but when I got them and put them on they looked even better than I thought, I mean they looked unbeleivable. I am muscular and good looking and these boots suit me well. Get compliments anywhere I go, esspecially at clubs or parties, the girls can't stop staring at me! These boots go great with the GAP medium wash ... cut jeans and the white fitted perfect shirt untucked. These are the best boots I have ever owned and I hate taking them off. Well work every penny. BUY THESE!!!!

Love Them!
I love the boots. I get lots of compliments. My shoe size varies from 9-11. I was going to order a 9.5 size but they only had size 10. They fit perfect. You definitely need the right type of pants in order to be able to show the "Harness" part of the boots. So, maybe shorter pants or ... cut jeans.It was a gift to myself and I kept putting off buying them due to the [$] price. But I went for it and have not regretted the decision. You won't either!

Great Boots!
This is such a great pair of boots. Every guy should own at least 1 pair of Frye boots. These are so nice looking! The go great with a pair of ... cut jeans. I must say very masculine looking, I look and feel great when I wear these, not to mention girls check me out like crazy. These boots have style and thats what I like. A little stiff at first, but after a short while they are broken in. I absolutly love these and can't wait to wear them on my days off!

Every guy should own at least one pair of Frye boots. This ... great classic style from Frye that like wine, gets better with age. The more you wear them, the more worn in and distressed they get (and they feel good to wear once you break them in!). You will get your $$ worth on this ... investment since you can wear them anywhere and they last forever!

Wish I could''ve kept them.
I returned them only because the heelbox was loose and walking was literally an exercise in it's own. If your a slim guy, don't bother getting these boots. You're gonna need some think calves to really get a good fit. All in all, I was quite impressed by the quality though. Maybe I'll get a ... only goes up to the ankle instead. Also, if they didn't fit perfectly, it was hard to swallow keeping them for that price.

I just wish they came in "Narrow"
My husband loves, loves, loves the boots. However, with his narrow feet, they don't fit perfectly. He's going to try inserts or possibly a smaller size to get a better fit. But with that said, he loves them and can't wait to wear them. I'm afraid he will wear them with everything regardless if they match or note.
