These boots are great in the snow, my feet are not wet anymore. My husband loves them. They are worth it.

perfect winter ...
I got these for my hubbie 'cause last winter, his dress shoes got majorly worn down from all of the snow and salt in chicago. he really needed a ... he could just keep on all day at the hospital under his scrubs or suit pants. So, he needed a ... more streamlined. Plus, he's pretty thin and likes lightweight and comfie clothing/accessories/shoes, so he didn't like the original sorels nor any other waterproof winter ... out there. They were all too bulky and heavy for his frame and taste. These boots aren't the thinnest boots out there, but they are thin for the warmth and waterproof ness. We also really love the dark brown color of the ... Really classic looking. The ... isn't very flexible, but I wouldn't expect a waterproofed canvas ... flexible. But if you're looking for a streamlined ... looks good and is warm/dry for the winter, I would go for these.

Winter is coming
I wanted a pair of good winter boots. These are waterproof, They don't look stupid, and they are comfortable. Oh yeah, the felt liner is removable, that's also awesome.

Good boots
I'm from LA visiting the East Coast for the week and these boots are the best. They really came in handy can't wait to use them again someday.

really nice ...
Got these in the color black for my boyfriend and the boots look really good. My boyfriend also mentioned his heel slipping when he walks, however if he sized down it would be too small. Also he can never take out the InnerBoot because then the boots would be way too big (but we bought these for winter, so no need to take the InnerBoot out). These things I mentioned do not overshadow how good the boots look and how comfortable they are.

great boots
I purchased 3 pair of boots for my husband to try (Northface Chilkat II and another pair of Sorel). These were the winners! They have a thick felt type lining and are comfortable for his wider feet. He liked the flexibility of the fabric around the ankle. He did complain that the heel slips a little as he walks, and we tried tightening the laces but that didn't help. The length was a perfect fit so he couldn't size down. They look really good with dark jeans or with snow gear of course!

Perfect outdoor low ...
Great outdoor ... Light weight yet still warm,warm,warm. My husband wears an 8 1/2. I ordered an 8 1/2 and it fits perfectly. He is so happy with his new boots and they are completely waterproof.

Comfortable Boots
The boots truly are better in person and they don't weigh much at all. Very comfortable, waiting to purchase the other color as well.

Very comfortable
I bought these not knowing how they would fit. Overall I am pleased with the fit - they run true to size in both length and width. These also have decent arch support that many similar boots tend to lack. Beware that these don't have the beefy heel and rugged sole that a hiker would have - these are more of a cold weather shoe with a soft, cushioned sole and lower heel. They are great for wearing in cold weather and walking through snow - but not for really bad weather where a more aggressive sole is desirable. Overall I am pleased with these for what they are.

Not True to Size
Great ... but sizing is way off. I wear a size 10 in most all brands of shoes, with the exception of Nike, in which I wear a 10.5. I ordered a 10.5 in these boots based on the comments, and they are still too small. Had to go up to a 11, and still a little snug. If you have a wide foot, order a full size larger.

Great ... Bulky but warm
These boots are huge! Ernie Shackelton should have been so well equipped. They are warm and the footbed feel like a livingroom for my feet. Spacious but comfortable big enough to layer socks but snug enough not to slip. They are heavy but I'd trade comfort in the snow for a little bulk any day. Build quality looks to be great and I hope to have them for years.

Great Boots
I bought these for a skiing trip to beech mtn in NC. When we got there it was 15 F and weather out of K2. Blizzards and snow. The boots were great and very warm, Throughout the week i took my kids night skiing and while teaching them i wore my boots and were warm and comfortable. They were always a relieve to get into after my ski boots, especially temperature wise.

GREAT BUT HUGE!!
I purchased these boots[...]just in time for a huge storm to come rolling through. I happily put them on and to my disappointment they were way to big. I wear a size 11 for my combat boots and they fit perfectly. These seemed like a size 12-13. I had to return them and am still waiting for my size 10's. I have had these boots in the past, they keep your feet dry, warm... sometimes too warm. You will not be disappointed, just remember if you usually wear a size 11, you now wear a size 10 when it comes to these boots. Finally they are a little hard to drive with because of the size.

The Sorel boots have a great reputation and live up to it. Like the title says you stay warm and dry in the worst of cold and slushy snow.

Great Quality -Good Looks
My only regret is that I did not purchase these boots BEFORE the big Washington, DC blizzard just before Christmas! -I ordered them online while I was snowed in! -The fit is true to size, and they have the unique feature of a removable insulated lining. During warmer weather, I can remove the insulation and use them for outdoor activities such as spring gardening or a simple walk in the rain. I think these boots will serve me well for many years. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to the next snowstorm!

Best Winter Boots Ever!!!
I bought these boots to go to a Monday Night Football game in Green Bay. My feet were never once cold or uncomfortable. Unbelievably warm. Two weeks later, it snowed 22 inches and I wore these boots while snow blowing the driveway and again, my feet were warm, dry and comfortable. Highly recommend these if you ever go outside in the cold and/or snow.

Wide, large boot...but awesome ...
I don't want to mess up the reviews because the ... didn't work for me, so I gave it 4 stars. If it had fit, probably deserves 5. This is a beautiful ... but I had to send mine back because my foot was swimming in it. Wasn't even that I could just live with it, it was ridiculous how large the ... fits. I actually called Sorel to get their advice and the guy admitted that they should have a disclaimer on the Caribous that they are for people with very wide feet. I have a regular width, not narrow, not wide and normally wear a 10. Ordered a 10 and it was monstrous!! I hated having to box them up... but if you need a wider ... order these, just a size below (example for me, 9 instead of 10) and you'll probably love these. The 1964 PAC T is the same ... but less wide and a slightly different tread on the bottom. Oh, and this ... (both boots) are EXTREMELY warm. You don't need any thick socks with these bad boys.

I like them...........
I love the boots and they are VERY comfortable. Makes me look forward to the bad weather. However, I wish I could've tried them on first. I wear a 12 but could probably get away with a 11.5. Plus they seem so BIG........Overall, I am very satisfied.

Very Practical but Careful of Wide Heel
This is a well designed ... easy laces and a high waterproof neck that looks like it could keep your feet warm and dry standing in a cold shallow stream. The boots are also lightweight and flexible, making them easier for walking than other snow boots I've tried. They are just leather combined with rubber, so if you want something tougher/stiffer, go with a different ... main thing to be aware of is that these boots are wide, particularly in the heel. I usually run a size 11 and my heels were swimming in the first pair I got. I ordered down to a size 10 and though they are slightly tight, the heel is held in place better.

Nice boots
I got these just before we got a foot of wet snow. Kept my feet warm and dry. They are a little big and heavy, but that's OK... they're snow boots. I've heard about issues with the quality since Sorel moved their manufacturing from Canada to Vietnam, but they seem well made to me. Hopefully I'll still feel the same in a year or two. Nice boots!

My new boots are warm comfortable n tough. they are my first pair of boots so I wasn't aware of how their sizes ran,so they are a bit wide ,but I am working with the choice I made. These boots can with stand the test of nature!
