my go to ...
I got 1 color and loved them so much, I got another. I am so tempted to get a 3rd pair. I've owned them for a year and half and haven't had any problems, and I wear them all the time! I don't use all the lace holes, zipper makes it easy on off.

Finally
The name Troopa descibes them to a tee. They are so comfortable that you can troop around all day long. I got so many compliments on them. They are very sexy in your ruggish tom boy sort of way. I knew I had done well when my husband complimented me. He's not always crazy about my tom boyish ways...lol but he gave me thumbs up on my Troopas. I love the distressed look and the color. You may want to opt for 1/2 size smaller because I bought the 9 and wore thick socks and I still have major room. I am planning to get 2 other pairs although this is my favorite color

Love these too much! I've been wearing them through out the cold weather. They are waterproof, I always wear them in the rain. I am size 9 but always or 1/2 size up in SM. They fit great and I can even wear 3 socks with them. They are perfect to wear with leggings, skinny jeans and even skirts. They are easy to clean too. Just Lovely!

So comfy!
I love these ... They are extremely comfortable and very versatile-- both in the statement you can make with them and in the different ways you can lace and fold them. I personally like them best in cognac brown. That color looks better in person than in the piperlime picture. There's a better color representation on the Steve Madden site. My only problem was the shipping, they got stuck in Maryland for forever. I told Piperlime and they promptly contacted that post office and got them to me the next day!

Great ...
I purchased these for my daughter.. She has been searching for the perfect ... decided on these. You can wear them folded down or ... up and look so cute with jeans and leggins. Piperlime was the only one to have the tan in stock in her size.

Love These!
If you tend to dress on the casual but trendy side, these are for you. They tend to run a little small but if you use a thinner dress sock, you'll be fine. I wear these with trousers and jeans...cuffed up just a bit to show off the height of these ... get compliments all the time PLUS they're much more cost effective than the pricier counterparts. They dont look 'cheap' by any means.

Lace up ... everywhere this fall and this style, particularly in brown are my favorite! Love the brown color since it goes great with army green- the it color this fall!

Great ...
I wasn't sure about these, (I liked a more expensive ... but I decided to give them a try because of the price. I ordered them in Black and I am so happy I made the decision to get them! I've worn them a lot since I got them; they are comfortable, and I don't lace them up all the way, so the zipper makes it easy to get them on and off. I haven't had any problems with them scuffing either. My only complaint is that I would like the material around the top of the shoe to be thicker.

I LOVE this ... So trendy, so cute, so versatile. I've been searching for a flat black ... since last season when I realized that I only had a flat brown one. I found these on the site after seeing them on a blog and ordered post haste. I cracked them up nervously when they arrived, not really knowing what to expect given the reviews. Would I think they looked cheap (I'm an admitted shoe snob)? Would they fit (some said the fit was a little off)? Would they look as cute as they did online (we all know that story)? I was pleasantly surprised as I saw that my fears were for naught! I've received so many compliments on them the three times I've worn them - from peers as well as my daughter's friends who see me as the "cool mom" :-). The only reason I did not give a perfect 5 is because they do seem a little narrow, but the leather seems rather forgiving and I sense that it will stretch the bit that I will need. For the price point and what you get, I don't think you could possibly be disappointed.

Great for small calves and ankles
I got these ... black. They are true to size and very versatile. You can lace or zip them. I put them on, ... them to where I wanted and now just use the zipper. The only issue is that it is small in the ankle which makes it harder to get your foot into the ... am happy that the ankle is small otherwise I really don't like it when there is extra room in that area, it looks and feels bad. I still have room to fit a pair of jeans in the ... am sure if you have slightly larger calves you can still make it work by loosening the ... should mention that the ... came up a little higher than I expected initially. I think I was looking at too many different pairs and most were shorter than these. You can get a little bunching at the top of the ... if you wear jeans that aren't snug down to your ankle. I don't mind it though. I would not recommend these ... someone with large ankles. They do start to look distressed after frequent wear but it works with the style of these ... least in black). Happy shopping!

surprisingly comfortable
this shoe definitely runs on the small side - I am normally an 8, but the 8 was so narrow through the toe box that when I put socks on and stood in the ... could feel all my toe bones jammed together and could envision the pain that my little toes would suffer if I attempted to wear my usual size. However, an exchange for a half size up seems to have totally solved the issue. And, these ... surprisingly comfortable! I have a busy life and spend most days running from one place to another, on pavement and in the country, lots of walking around - and I can say, these ... were comfortable from day one (in a half size up). Maybe they will surprise me with how well they wear also :) All in all, not a bad pair of ... price - decently functional and not bad looking.

Love them
I might buy another pair, just in case they don't make them in 30 years when I need a new pair. I love these boots, they are worth the prices. People are always telling me they look great. I put Red Wing waterproofer on and use Bick 4 to help condition the leather during the break in. If I had to do it again, though, I might order them a half size small because I have a feeling the leather will naturally stretch enough so that I'll need to shrink them with a water soak method that I've read about. They are great for everyday wear and dressing up a bit.

IRON RANGER
Love the Iron Ranger boot. First week was tough, as the boots did hurt my feet. I took them to a local Red Wing store and had the cobbler do some "magic" on them. After this and about 2 more days of good wear my feet now feel fine. I own the Irish Setter by Red Wing and the boot construction is completely different. I assume my feet were just used to the older boots. Anyway, the boots are great. They look great with jeans and chinos. I would definitely recommend them.

Iron Rangers
These are great ... sturdy boot that prevents your ankles from rolling. They can be worn straight out of the box, but take an hour or so to break in. Hooks are an added benefit for easy, quick, tight ... However, just a warning, they are narrow. Overall a great boot that I recommend getting.
