Love!! I'm obsessed with these ... had been contemplating buying these ... couple weeks after reading some of the reviews about them. A lot of people complained of them being too long, too tight or not true to size, I thought they just didn't seem flattering based on the feedback. Boy was I wrong! These ... my new favorite! I can be a 27 or 28 in ... but typically a 28 in 7's so went with the 28 for these. The fit was perfect..maybe just a tad long but I like my ... long! Super flattering and extremely sexy on curves. I think some of the reviews are misleading as far as ordering the right size. If you have muscular or thicker legs then you may need to order a size up as some of you may find they run small in the leg. These are meant to be tight through the leg and then flare at the knee (hippie/70's style). I think these would definitely be flattering on most body types, esp. on tall women.
LOVE THESE ... I read most of the reviews, I really don't agree with some of them. Im 5'7", all seven mankind ... never fit right but I saw these and wanted to give em a try. I did go a size bigger because I read the reviews but they run true to size. I should have ordered my regular size. They are very stretchy and I love that about them. You need to wash them before wearing because right out of the package my hands were denim colored just by touching them lightly. The bellbottoms are so awesome, Ive always loved bells and they are great for taller gals. Im going to have to wear with a platform but thats what you should wear with these. Shorter gals you probably will have to hem them but they also have petit rachels I saw too. Im curvy and they are great for curvy gals.
Great Pair of ... These ... were quite pricey, but surprisingly worth it! They are lightweight (which is great for summer) and very flattering. I am petite (5'1) and curvy and these ... definitely hug the curves while creating a nice slim line. They are also a mid rise, so no PC to worry about. ;) I usually wear a 29 in ... these were no different. I am very happy with this purchase and have been rocking these ... almost everyday since I received them. I would definitely recommend them!
BANANAS! These ... piece of heaven. No sacrifices here - you get it all. The rise is perfect and the denim has just enough stretch to hug the right curves and still be comfortable. The flare isn't quite as extreme as pictured which was a pleasant surprise. I happen to be a curvy petite (5'3) woman so I'm thrilled to have found a jean that 100% minimizes my hip/butt area AND shows off my waist (usually my ... looser in the waist because I have to size up in low rise styles). The denim itself is thin so it lays nicely against the body and contributes to an overall slimmer look. This is the first time in many years that I've worn a jean with a higher rise, and let me tell you I'll never go back. Obvi with me being short, I'll have them hemmed to wear with heels; my second pair will be hemmed for flats. Totally worth the investment. Now if only they came in a slightly lighter rinse just for the sake of variety... Piperlime, PLEASE don't stop selling this style. Skinny ... may be the trendy jean of the moment but this style is truly timeless and universally flattering.
I really like the fit! I'm feeling the bell bottoms lately. Fits true to size but a little tight on my bottom and I'm not really curvy.
Love these! I am over skinny ... Over them. I can't even bring myself to squeeze into another pair. So when I found these, I was excited. I had high hopes. I was so happy to receive these. They are the perfect dark ... amazed me that I had to have them altered...I am 5'9" and these were 3-4" too long (but then again, I'll wear these ... flats). So if unless you are tall and/or you wear sky high heels, be prepared to take these in for alterations. The good news is that the hem of these ... not a typical jean hem with a rough edge. It is very minimal, so when you do have them hemmed, it's not obvious. Also it's important to mention that I did size up and they were perfect. My other sevens are sz 28 and I went up to sz 29 and they fit perfectly. My shape is kind of an average "ruler" and these ... fit great.
Cute Jeans....But.... I LOVE these jeans...but sending them back for a bigger size...super cute!!! If you are shaped like Rachel Zoe than order your normal size - but if you are like me and have a more athletic or curvy shape then go up a size.
Careful of the dye As another review mentioned, the dye on this jean bleeds. I wore these ... first time (after washing) with a light colored blazer and tee. Within just a few hours the dye bled, turning my blazer and tee shirt blue. My hands and other skin exposed to the ... turned blue also. I was on vacation at the time and feared keeping the ... my suitcase, for they could bleed and ruin all my clothes. Sadly, in the garbage these went. What a waste of money - the cost of the ... shipping, alterations, the blazer and tee that were ruined, plus the cost to replace the ... so that I had pants to wear on vacation.
