Piperlime and ... rescue!!! Just in time for the big snow storm!
Love these!!! Had purchased them in the spring in bright teal and was not impressed. The fit was off (I am an 8.5-9, depending on how narrow the ... my foot is wide) and needed to go down to an 8 to get them to fit. The teal was very pretty but wasn't sleek and didn't make my feet look small, by any means. Have been wearing Chinese Laundry's BOG style for the past few weeks, roughing it in the snow and sleet and wanted something a little taller and sleeker. Bit the bullet and tried again, this time with black boots in a size 8. And they fit!!! They're beautiful and fantastic and actually keep my feet warmer than the Bog boots did, even though I wasn't wearing a wellie liner, just an old pair of cashmere socks! Would definitely recommend the shiny black Hunters -- the not glossy pairs tend to look a little weird with the white wax marks and since these are glossy, I can get away with wearing them all day at the office! Great boots!
I work in downtown Seattle and the commute can be a bit of a downer. Rain and huge water puddles can make for a horrible day, but now I know that I won't be going into work with soggy shoes and jeans soaked up to my calf. I got these in navy and they're both cool and functional (and pretty comfortable, too!). They look good with dark slim fit jeans & sweaters/button down shirts under my macintosh/peacoat/rainjacket. And when I get to work I just slip 'em off and put on my Chucks. I've also done some yard work in these and they're built tough. When they get dirty just rinse them off and wipe 'em down and they're good to go! *Note* If you have big calfs these boots may not be for you. The leg opening is about 17" in circumference and you might have a problem tucking your jeans into them.

Great Buy!
I found that the boots ran true to size I typically have trouble finding shoes that are comfortable, but these are great. I bought a full size up, because I wanted to be able to layer socks in my ... they work great. I am loving them!!!
