Our new favorite camp ... Those are not as heavy as Newport H2, which my girls love a lot. Yet, they provide enough support and coverage for active kids, summer camp and all. We especially love the fact there are no heavy straps or buckles around ankles. The cord allows to adjust it for high instep perfectly and is easy to operate. I wish they had more colors and I also wish that little kid Whisper model was done the same way(and it is not, it has one more strap and looks more like Newport). So far it wears and washes back to looking new, and we are talking about couple of weeks of day camp shoe abuse. Regarding the sizing - I usually get the wide in Stride Rite to accomodate for high instep, those were fitting exactly like Stride Ride wide sizes(1W for size 1, etc.)It also looks that cord can be adjusted to fit normal way instead of wide.

Excellent Summer Shoe! I bought Keen Newport H2 sandals for my nearly 3 yr old daughter after searching and searching for a playground, water safe, and general all purpose summer shoe. These are perfect. My daughter loves them and they are incredibly rugged. I was concerned that they might be too clunky for her small, narrow foot, but they are actually great. I even bought them a little bit big so they'd last, and she has no problems running, jumping, etc. These are great pre school shoes, protect small toes and feet, and are great for mud and water. They wash up like a snap, and work well with socks for cooler days. I think I will be buying a new pair every summer. They are the perfect Spring/Summer/Fall shoe.

Can''t live without Great summer shoe. We've gotten a pair of these each year for the last 3 years. They wear like iron but kids tend to grow out of things. Great for running around, climbing, wearing in water. No stubbed toes, no blisters. LOVE these! Each of my kids (boys and girls) and I have them. I admit they are cutest on the 4 year old, but isn't everything?

I Love These Shoes! Initially when I bought these I thought they were the traditional canvas Keen sandals and was a little disappointed. However my daughter loved them so I kept them and boy am I glad. I loved the fact that they had the cute Keen style and appearence but could be cleaned with a wet paper towel. My daughter tested this concept the second time she wore them and decided to go jumping in mud puddles :( They were caked in mud but I was thrilled when after running them under the hose, they looked brand new again. I can see these lasting the entire summer and still looking brand new. I am contemplating getting her another pair in a different color because they are perfect for camp! The only reason I gave the shoes 4 stars instead of 5 is because the first pair we got may have been defective. Somehow my daughter managed to break the little red rubber lace/string and ruin them.
keen water shoe The measuring PDF was wrong from the website, and I found that this shoe ran "true" to their actual shoe size. (The PDF, indicated that the shoe ran big and to order it a size smaller - not true). Otherwise, very cute, soft & light. My girls like it a lot.
