Great everyday ... This is a great everyday ... yet cushioned! I did have to exchange the 7.5 for a size 8, though. The ... pushes your foot a bit forward and your big toe will hit uncomfortably at the end if it is not long enough. But, I should have known that would happen because many of my Cole Haan shoes are a half a size larger. Piperlime exchanges are simple and easy- thanks, piperlime!
stylish ... I have two pairs of these ... - the estate blue and the gold and I absolutely love them. A few things to know about them however: There is some toe cleavage and they take a few days to break in. However, once you've worn them a number of times you will love them. They look cute with so many things. I paid full price for both pairs and I am now considering a third. Take advantage of the sale and try them!
Disagree that the ... runs small I purchased this ... ordered a size up based on customer reviews. The ... too big. If you are used to wearing this style of ballerina ... does tend to fit snug - like a real ballerina slipper. I find the Cole Haan shoes will stretch out somewhat although not sure about the patent ones. I'll be returning for my true size. They are very cute shoes!
Love these ... I own these ... both the black patent and dark grey snakeskin print (which isn't available on Piperlime's site) and I plan to order the taupe suede color and leopard print ones as well. They are hands down the most comfortable ... I've ever owned. But be warned, they do take about two wearings to break in the back, upper heel section because of the lacing detail. Have band aids on hand. I specifically bought them to wear on a recent two week trip to the UK where I knew I'd be doing a ton of walking but still wanted to look cute. I walked everywhere in them, sometimes 4+ hours a day, and my feet felt great. Like I was wearing regular walking shoes.
Great Shoes! I was dubious when I bought these to replace my old 100% leather ... but I have to say, I'm suitably impressed! I live in ... shoes, so to me, these are comfortable and beyond. I can be in them for hours and feel no pain, even the backs of the shoes fit perfectly without any rubbing or discomfort. I only gave 4/5 because the width is definitely more on the "narrow" spectrum and definitely, definitely noticeable for those of us with wider feet. I'd recommend ordering a half size up if you have wide feet, otherwise you'll experience some discomfort and the toecaps will look weird with your toes poking into the material. Otherwise, a great pair of shoes and definitely worth the price tag!
Love them! I have wanted these shoes forever, but always felt that the price was too high for ballet ... finally bought them in silver, although I love all the leathers and colors, and they are definately worth the price! Cole Haan never dissapoints. They are the most comfortable ... own and I love the elegant, yet trendy style. I get compliments on them all the time - especially on the back tie. They do run a half size small, which I find to be the case with any ballet ... has the elastic around the upper seam. Love, love, love them!! I want another pair!
Disappointed I thought I had found the perfect ballet ... but alas, these shoes just don't fit right. The heel really digs in and the ... just feels way too small. I've worn them maybe 6-10 times so far and have tried stretching them by hand. It seems to have helped some, but a good expensive ... shouldn't take that much breaking in. They are super cute though and look great with a variety of outfits.
Cute but....... I bought these shoes in pewter size 8.5 and WOW were they fabulous. With that said I came back for the black patent(same size) and shockingly they are kind of small not to mention the elastic is soooo much tighter in the black shoes I can hardly stand it. You can see the difference when I sit them side by side. The pewter pair sits nice and ... black pair curls up. The pewter I believe is a newer color so it looks to me that these shoes have been re vamped a bit and the older,original sale colors are the ones that seem to be running a bit small. [...]
OUCH I love this line of shoes and was looking forward to a great ballet ... Once I tried them on, I couldn't get away from the pain in the back of my foot, at the Achilles tendon. It rubbed the area after just wearing them around the house. I have a couple ballet ... must wear band aids back there and was hoping to replace those. Was able to find a comfortable replacement in the Tory Burch Eddie one size larger than my normal size. I will still shop this line of shoes as more are comfortable than not. However, on the positive side, the padding on the inside was fantastic. It allowed for a very comfortable and cushiony walk. Everything else was great about these shoes; I may just have sensitive skin at the Achilles tendon area. Give them a chance and you will probably be happy!
Stiff and painful These shoes are very nice and high quality with more structure than a typical ballerina ... back portion was very stiff and uncomfortable. So much so that I decided they weren't worth the blisters and returned them.
Cute but Uncomfortable These ballet ... very cute, but so uncomfortable and they haven't gotten more bearable w/ wear. Believe me, I'm not the super sensitive type; in fact, I rather suffer for fashion! Ironically, the first time I wore these shoes I thought they were great. The second time, the shoes kept rubbing on the back part of my ankle. Though I didn't get blisters, I had a huge red welt on each foot! Also, they're the "snug" type of ballet ... so they kinda scrunch your toes. I wish I could love this ... but I can't. I'm going to give them away, as I can't really wear them for comfort, which is why I bought them.

Waaay more comfortable than typical ballet ... I have a ridiculous commute that has me hopping a bus and a train, as well as walking a 0.5 mile -- these are the perfect shoes for the commute (I keep my heels at my desk) and for casual weekend wear. There's definitely more sole and arch support than your typical ballet ... (those are awful for your feet, btw). Very comfy and stylish -- well worth the price.

These ballet ... comfortable with some cushioning, enough elastic to keep the ... without binding the heel, and a sturdy rubber bottom . The ... has become a "go to" staple in the wardrobe. Ordered a size larger based on reviews - -good decision - - got a perfect fit!. Ordered in other colors as these shoes will be great for travel since they are lightweight, easily packed, and worn for long periods of time comfortably. Good value for the price.
Classic, Casual Style These shoes are comfortable, lightweight, with a contemporary twist on traditional ballet flat. The heel structure is like a traditional ... avoiding pulling elastic on the heel - - very comfortable. Soft leather conforms to the foot readily, and the look overall is sleek, and feminine, a look which will go with slacks, jeans, skirts, dresses easily. Ballet style flats are not known as shoes designed for strong arch support and these are no different. The shoes do, however, have a soft cushion in the footbed, which works well. Great shoes to pack for travel. Have the shoes in 4 colors and receive compliments regularly . Definitely a "go to" element in the wardrobe. These shoes are a comfortable, contemporary presentation of a classic ballet ... which can be worn with many styles .
Great ... Super comfy, looks great casual and a bit dressed up but it's still a sports ... Love it. I am a mom who runs around in comfy clothes all day to keep up with the little ones but don't always want to wear sneakers, yet need to have comfy supportive shoes. This fits the bill and I feel a bit more dressy. Great buy!
Good ... busy mom I was looking for some everyday comfortable black ... think I found them. This was my first Puma purchase so I wasn't sure how they run. I am usually a 9.5 but depending on the brand can do anything from a 9 to a 10. The 9.5 is a good fit. I didn't realize that these shoes had the elastic on the sides. It doesn't really bother me. The back elastic doesn't dig in my heel like some others in similar styles. They have good cushiness in the sole. They are like leather slippers you can wear outside. I don't know how they will hold up, but after a long day of running errands my feet didn't hurt.
Runs a half size small I actually like these shoes. They would have been comfortable because insole is cushioned. Unfortunately, I had to return them because there was no wiggle room in toe box. They run a half size small. Would have exchanged them for next half size up but the black were all sold out. I would have to order them in a different color. The all black color could pass for a dressier pair of ballet ...
Sooo Comfortable! This ... fantastic! Incredibly comfortable and cute, there's this little side pad on the in step of this ... that's like a little piece of "cloud" that makes these shoes uber comfortable. Great with a cute dress or with slacks, love them!
Super Comfy Always on a search for comfortable, cute, casual shoes. These shoes fit the bill! They are all of the above. My new favorite kick around town shoes.
Comfy sole, pretty tight elastic These shoes are compact and can be really great to throw in your purse in case-of shoe-disaster during a night on the town. However, I haven't found them ideal for an 8 hour workday. While the bottom is cushioned wonderfully, the rim of the ... kind of elasticized, and it puts a lot of pressure on my foot (even though I ordered half a size up). After 3 hours or so, my feet end up hurting in these ones. I think they are a great "relief" ... high heel events, but they have not really worked out as an everyday wear.
