Ring the Bell, Sound the Alarm!!! The Bell Bottom is back and with a new look. These pants fit the thigh in a slimming way and flare very wide at the bottom. They are long and cover your shoes. I'm 5'5", 130 pds, and I ordered a size 6. They fit great. I thought about ordering a 4, the pants do have a liitle stretch. I just may order the 4 to compare. But the 6 looks nice thru the hip & thigh area. The length is totally "rock star". You will have to walk like you mean it, because these pants grace the ground, even in 4" heels. Great addition to any wardrobe. Don't hesitate, buy these pants, you'll totally enjoy them!
Love!! I'm obsessed with these ... had been contemplating buying these ... couple weeks after reading some of the reviews about them. A lot of people complained of them being too long, too tight or not true to size, I thought they just didn't seem flattering based on the feedback. Boy was I wrong! These ... my new favorite! I can be a 27 or 28 in ... but typically a 28 in 7's so went with the 28 for these. The fit was perfect..maybe just a tad long but I like my ... long! Super flattering and extremely sexy on curves. I think some of the reviews are misleading as far as ordering the right size. If you have muscular or thicker legs then you may need to order a size up as some of you may find they run small in the leg. These are meant to be tight through the leg and then flare at the knee (hippie/70's style). I think these would definitely be flattering on most body types, esp. on tall women.
Loveee Love these ... flare is large and just perfect for the 70's feeling of the moment. I am 5' 8" and these are great with four to five inch heels. They look especially fab with platforms! I can run anywhere from a size 27 in ... (BDG at [@]) to a size 28 in most brands (like Citizens), and sometimes a 29 (in J Brand). I ordered several sizes in these ... kept the 29 because this denim does not have much stretch. I am very happy with the fit, they are not too tight but they are def not loose.
FAB U-LOUS SO I have been waiting months for these ... not be backordered in my size AND I finally got them in the mail today!! Absolutely wonderful. I ordered a size up as recommended by other reviewers and I am glad I did- these fit like a glove! The dark mercer color is uber flattering and the length + flare makes for mile long looking legs! I am 5'6 and will need these hemmed a bit to wear with heels, but I expected that from my other 7s. I have grown weary of the skinny/low rise ... these are a great alternative!
Do not let these get away from you! Yes it's true...these do run a little bit smaller - but I think this brand runs small in comparison to other designer ... anyway. I bought a size larger than my normal size and they are perfect. Amazingly perfect. I love the slim leg and flare. Thank you for recommending, Rachel Zoe!
Just Perfect! Love, love, love these ... I've seen Rachel Zoe in these ... wanted them desperately for so long, but never knew where to go to get them. Finally, I came across them here and immediately ordered them. I was a little nervous about the very wide flare and hoped that they would fit as they do on Rachel. Thankfully, they do! I ordered a 25 which is my usual size and they fit like a glove. They're pretty long (I'm on 5'2") but I wear them with super high heels and they look amazing! Really fun exaggerated flare bell bottom. Makes my hips and thighs look slim. I'm so obsessed and would recommend to everyone! The splurge was well worth it.
BANANAS! Great ... if you have slim thighs. These ... run 1 size too small and are slim in the thigh which looks awesome b/c they flare out beautifully. Be prepared (as usual) to bring them to your favorite seamstress for a big hem. Also, be prepared to wear them with dark shoes only! These ... highly pigmented and I wore them with black sandals and at the end of the day my toes were blue from the dye. These points make the ... sound negative but I am 5'3" and weigh about 118 and I look long legged and slim!!!!!!!! Once again, I usually wear a 27 and the 28 is just right. I LOVE RACHEL!
BANANAS! These ... piece of heaven. No sacrifices here - you get it all. The rise is perfect and the denim has just enough stretch to hug the right curves and still be comfortable. The flare isn't quite as extreme as pictured which was a pleasant surprise. I happen to be a curvy petite (5'3) woman so I'm thrilled to have found a ... 100% minimizes my hip/butt area AND shows off my waist (usually my ... looser in the waist because I have to size up in low rise styles). The denim itself is thin so it lays nicely against the body and contributes to an overall slimmer look. This is the first time in many years that I've worn a ... higher rise, and let me tell you I'll never go back. Obvi with me being short, I'll have them hemmed to wear with heels; my second pair will be hemmed for flats. Totally worth the investment. Now if only they came in a slightly lighter rinse just for the sake of variety... Piperlime, PLEASE don't stop selling this style. Skinny ... may be the trendy ... moment but this style is truly timeless and universally flattering.
I loved the wash of these ... dark color is easy to dress up or down. The flare was a little too much for me. I didn't like how the ... were tight in the knee which drew attention to my larger thighs. Also the length was crazy long! I had to return them.
Hmmm. If had a million dollars... ...I would keep these "bells". As other reviewers mentioned, they run small through hips/thighs. I normally wear a size 27 in ... size 2 otherwise and I got a size 28. The size 28 was tight in thighs/hips but a little bigger in the waist. I did really like the ... loved the color, high waist and they looked good on the butt, however I decided they just weren't worth the [$] (Sadly!). They are very long (I'm 5'6) and I still would have had to wear them with at least 4" heels! They are flare which i love but they don't bell out as much as you expect, it's almost wideleg shaped at the bottom. Anyway, in many ways I did love them but [$] to eventually take them in at the waist and the high heeled shoe limitations forced me to send these bells back to the warehouse. Sad!! Like I said, if I had a million dollars...
not worth it so i ordered these in a size bigger then my normal size, based on what people said......and they were still way to tight in the hip/thigh area. so now i know why they call them the "Rachel" bell bottoms.....bc if you weight 80 pounds like her...then theyd probably fit you too....and the bell bottom wasnt even that much of a bell bottom to me...more like a regualr flare jean......that being said..these are going back to Piperlime..bc i sure dont want them.
