THEY CAME THRU THE MAIL....VERY STYLISH...ONE PROBLEM THOO .....NOT CONFORTABLE AT ALL......AFTER WEARING THEM ALL DAY I HAD TO BUY SUM SANDALS AND IMMEDIATLY REMOVE THESE...MY FEET WAS HURTING TOOO MUCHH..BUT THEY GORGEOS STYLIN SHOES...LOVE EM AND WUD DEFINETLY WEAR THEM AGAIN JUST FOR LESS TIMEE... :)
Practical choice for reasonable price I got them when Piperlime offered 30% off. I think I would not have bought them for the full price. They look nice with skirts, cropped pants, skinny jeans etc., but they are not very well made. Do not expect them to last for too long... I have seen similar styles on some designer websites for ~$300, so I guess they are overall a good buy...
Cute shoes, good price, but you get what you pay for... I read the other reviews and got the impression these shoes would be comfortable. They are definitely not! There is no padding in the soles of these shoes. I went and bought some gel inserts to put in them, but have not tried them yet. Otherwise, the shoes are a cute ... something so trendy, I wouldn't want to spend a lot of money, so these fit the bill. The construction on these shoes also shows they are inexpensive - there's a lot of glue around the heel and they are pretty bare bones. But, if you want a cute, trendy ... can wear with skinny jeans or tights and don't feel like spending the big bucks, this is for you.
returned them twice! I really thought these would be my annual winter purchase this year. This is how I returned these shoes twice: I first bought them from zappos for a little cheaper price, I really wasn't sure if I liked them, first off, I am a size 6, I started to realize that wedge shoes do not look good in small sizes because they make the feet look even unattractively smaller. I tried them on and the front of the shoes where the curve of the foot starts to meet the ankle was bulging out, and the ankle was just way TOO BIG, after I put them on, the very top of the shoes look like a boat and made my ankle look abnormally thin, this didn't look good. So I returned them. AND THEN: I decided to to buy them again from Piperlime for even a cheaper promotional price, because I thought for the that price, I should just give them another chance, but when I got them in the mail, I tried them on again, and decided quickly that even for the cheap price, I didn't want to keep them. The wedge just looked cheap on me, the color was not what I really wanted either since they are really darker. But maybe if you happen to have bigger feet with a bigger bone structure in that area, then these shoes would look ok on you.
I was so excited about these because they looked really cute online, but when the package arrived I was less than impressed. I am disappointed because it seems like they would have been cute for fall and pretty comfortable, but I can't get over how cheap the material looks. I felt like they would fall apart or bleed dye all over if they got wet. I give them 3 stars for cute, but I am sending them back.
Somewhere in between "Meh" and "Why Did I Buy These?" The only plus is that the ... does make your foot look smaller. This is a slightly lower heel for me. I got a lower heel becuase I wanted everyday ... winter that were comfortable. These are not comfortable, however. The inside side of the ... has something that is rubbing up against the top of my ankle that makes these painful to wear. These are not comfortable enough to be my fallback comfort pair of cute shoes; and yet not cute enough to be my cute pair of shoes that I'll wear even if uncomfortable. They were cheap -- but this really proves that you get what you pay for.
