Disappointed.. with a weird smell This is the only pair of Crocs that I've ever purchased that actually runs true to size. I normally wear a size 8.5 in every other shoe and I have a wide food. However, in Crocs I usually wear an 8 in their flats and clogs. I ordered an 8 and it was too small. Then I ordered a 9, and it still felt tight all around the back. As for the feel of the fleece or whatever is lining the inside, it feels okay at first but a friend of mine told me that it tends to wear down quickly over time and not feel good anymore. I guess I could see that. Also, both pairs I ordered had a very, very strong chemically/plasticy smell that bothered me. I also want to mention that I ordered the dark brown color which ended up looking really dark to me. Maybe a little darker than in the picture. I ended up just returning these and giving up which was too bad because I'd been eyeing them for the past year. Maybe they will work for you and as another reviewer noted: they do run in men's sizes but with the women's sizes in parentheses. It's not impossible to figure out your size, just read carefully.
Comfy and Cute Shoes I just received the black Touring style in size 10 and they fit perfectly and are comfortable the first day. I also own the Journey style in brown which was my first pair of Jambus. I have numerous foot problems (plantar fascitis and fallen arch) in right foot and I can wear these shoes with no pain at all. Both the Touring and Journey style are cute with jeans or dress pants. Luckily I can wear jeans to work and these shoes are perfect for me to wear to work. I should be able to wear them through the summer and fall. In the winter, I wear Dansko professional clogs most of the time.
not a good fit I wear mules and clogs all the time, but these just didn't feel like they would stay on my foot. I ordered two sizes because I did read that they run a half size large. I normally take a 9, but even though the footbed of the 8.5 was the right length it just felt like the shoe was going to come off at any moment.
