Great but hard to put on! I'm a huge fan of Keen shoes for my son. This particular ... solid shoe that will protect your kids' feet. It is rugged and sturdy and my son can run and walk great in them. He is a bit clumsy and I swear this shoe helps him to be more stable! It is also a great looking shoe. Looks fab with almost anything. The only con of this shoe is that the shoe is difficult to put on. Though the shoe itself is a good fit, the entry way for the foot is quite narrow so each time I have to try really hard to pull open the area of the tongue of the shoe and shimmy my sons foot into it. This narrowness does not have a negative effect on his ankles what so-ever...just makes putting them on not so simple. Because the shoe is such a great shoe other than this fact, I don't mind it and still love the shoe for my son when he is in my care. The only prob is I can't send my son to preschool in them knowing it might inconvenience his teacher after nap time. I also wouldn't want to burden the grandparents when they care for him, so his Keen "sandals" have been ideal for preschool and grandparent visits, but now it's nearing winter, so I will have to purchase another pair of "easier to put on" shoes just for preschool and visits with the grandparents. Unfortunately, as much as it is a 5 star shoe for an active boy, it being a pain in the butt to put on makes it only a 3 star shoe.

Great shoes! My little boy is very active and spends alot of time on a sand playground at daycare. These look like they are going to hold up well based on wear so far. They wipe off with a damp cloth and look great!
Keens Rock!!!! What can I say, the shoe is durable and very cool. I buy Keens for both of my kids (boy and girl). I usually only buy one pair of shoes for my son a season and these things last. They do the job that sneakers do as well as hiking shoes and playing in mud/dirt. They clean up easily and still look great.
