Good shoe
I bought these sneakers for my 2 year old daughter & she really likes them! The only problem we had were with the elastic shoe strings which make it hard to put the shoes on & off. I cut them & just put in regular shoe strings & they're good for her now. I would definitely recommend these sneakers as long as your child doesn't have a wide foot.

Great shoes, just switch out the laces
I love these sneakers and bought both the black and white pairs for my 2-year old son. He gets tons of compliments in them and seems to be comfortable when he's running around in these shoes. Yes, the stretchy laces were ridiculous and I initially could barely squeeze my son's feet into the shoes (nor did they look comfortable once on) so I bought black and white shoelaces at [@] for $3/pair, cut the original shoelaces OFF the shoes and put in the new normal shoelaces. Now I can open the shoes to put them on my son's feet and tie them to fit his feet comfortably. It was also super easy to cut off the silly stretchy laces and there were holes already created to restring new shoelaces in. The shoes would get 5 stars if I didn't have to put in new shoelaces. Also the black pair have held up really well with hardly any indication of use whereas the white obviously get dirty pretty fast.

Love these shoes
These are so cute and look great with everything my daughter wears. I love the look of a simple shoe without sparkles, glitter and cartoons. I do feel like these run a little small, my daughter also has the velcro strap converse and the lace up chucks seem smaller than the velcro version.

A great baby gift.
These little All Stars make the best baby gift. Hands down. They’re so cute…and people just love getting these tiny sneakers. Every time I mail them to friends or take them to showers, they’re a huge hit. Lots and lots of oohing and ahhing. (And not just from the Moms. But from Dads too!) Let’s just say, it’s [$] well spent. Every time.

my kid is so cool now.
I had been looking for some cute, simple white sneakers for a long time and nothing fit what I was looking for. These little All Stars are just the thing! My daughter now has a very cool pair of sneakers that goes with practically everything. They are most adorable with striped tights and skirt!

These are great sneakers for the price. I think they fit true to size and they are machine washable (cold water, no dryer).

Not going to work
I wanted to love these as a replacement to the all white low top Adidas Superstars that I normally buy for my two boys. They were huge, at least a full size larger...maybe two. Also, I wasn't in love with the quality of the canvas, it was very thin and kind of cheap looking. This part was my fault, but nonetheless it was a negative, I thought they were going to be stretchie laces. They are regular ties. Definitely going back...but that's why I buy from Piperlime - no hassle returns!

Best shoes for little boys!
It's difficult to find shoes for little boys today that don't feature a cartoon character and/or blinky lights at a reasonable price...with the exception of these. Both my boys (now 2 1/2 and 4 1/2) have worn these exclusively since they started walking (with the elastic, no tie laces in the earlier years). Since they are black, they don't show dirt and are durable enough to hand me-down. We get a lot of compliments on them too.

Adorable and practical!
I purchased the size 11 Sambas for my four year old son who had just outgrown his size 10 sneakers. The size 11's seemed to pinch his pinky toes a little so we returned them and orderd a half size up. The 11.5 pair fits him well with decent room in the toebox to grow, yet shoes fit snugly and do not fall off when he runs. Laces stay tied, they look sharp and sporty. Will definitely consider purchasing another pair when he outgrows these!

Love these shoes!!!
This is my 3rd time buying these shoes. Twice in black and once in light blue. Both my boys LOVES them. They play soccer indoors, turf, street and it still looks great!! This is the only shoes they want to wear...
