Just like moms i bought my daughter cheap rain boots n she did not like them. She wanted hunter boots like mine. These were on sale so I jumped on them. The red really pops n is adorable on a 8 yr old girl. She can wear now when it rains n when it snows when I buy the welly socks for them. Just like mom. Hunter boots r versatile. U can wear them year round. She has gotten so many compliments. Her teacher made her go to two classrooms to show the teachers her hunter boots. I like the gloss on it also.

Cute and Comfy Rain Boots! My son LOVES his new rain boots! He says they are so comfortable, he wants to wear them even when it's not raining! If it's raining why not have as much fun as you can with it? They go great with the Superman Rain coat also by Western Cheif.

Waiting for rain I bought ... my 6 year old son. He LOVES Thomas. They are a big hit. Good construction, easy for him to get on and off. They run a little big, but that's OK. Hoping to get two years of wear out of them. Now if only it would stop snowing and start raining!

Fabulous! I ordered these ... nearly 3 year old grandson to wear on the beach during a winter vacation to South Carolina. Despite the fact his size (9) was not available, I ordered the closest size (12), knowing he loves anything Thomas the Train and would not mind them being too big. As expected, he doesn't want to take them off, wears them everywhere, and his mom gets questions every time they are out - "Where did you get those ... want them too!" The quality appears to be excellent; the colors are vibrant. By far, in his mind, this is the best gift we have given him yet!
Always a favorite This is the second pair of Western Chief ... have purchased for my almost 3 yr. old son. He especially loves ... because they're Thomas. They fit well and stand up to hard use. Choo Choo riffic Ok, my 2 year old is totally into Thomas the Train. So of course the ... hit. They're easy to put on and pull off by himself. Keeps the feet dry which is the main goal, and keeps son happy too. I keep socks on him so as not to get a blister, as there's not much padding in there. love moved from dry san diego to wet portland and never knew rain boats were a need not just a fashion statement. my son is in love with these boots, some days if he does not have his boots it seems like the end of the world. we get so many compliments on them. i like that these are simple without any characters and they go with everything. i bought them at the beginning of winter and got one size up- at first he had a hard time wallking in them but it was very cold out and i needed thick socks so it made it easier, he had a growth spurt and shortly after they fit perfect and were easy for him to walk in.

The ankle part is slimmer than other rainboots, so ... don't fall off, but this makes it a little more difficult to get his pants inside. Fun, whether rain or shine OK, I'll admit it - I got suckered into buying ... 18-month old simply because they're just so cute. I figured I'd return ... if ... didn't work out, but what a pleasant surprise when ... actually turned out to be both adorable and functional. When ... first arrived I thought I might have some trouble getting ... onto ... son's fat little feet, but imagine ... surprise when he picked up the ... looked at it and proceeded to step into it all by himself (which he then did repeatedly for the next hour and continues to do at least once a day now whether it's raining or not). From a waterproof standpoint, ... literally seamless, so there's nowhere for water to get in. While the lack of a lining might mean they're not the warmest of footwear, I do love being able to simply rinse the whole ... right off in the sink when ... get muddy. ... son has no trouble walking in ... but crouching down is challenging because the ... rigid material doesn't bend at the ankle - this is the only reason I didn't give a five star rating. I'm very pleased with this purchase - when the little one outgrows ... I'll surely be buying the next size up.

Adorable I had seen these ... featured in magazines and high end catalogs. They are adorable, my daughter loves to wear them. The color is perfect not too bright, it seems to go well with most of her clothes. They run a little big, but that is perfect since we were planning on having her use the fleece sock in the winter and wear them as snow ... me the quality is worht the price since they will be passed down to my youngest. These also make for great pictures!

Becoming an avid fan of "Hunter" This is the second pair of Hunter ... we've bought for my 9-year old daughter. The first pair only had to be replaced b/c she grew out of them. After a year of use, I've actually saved them for another family member b/c they are still usable. She wore them nearly every day through rainy and wintery conditions. This is a kid who thinks every shirt itches and sock is lumpy, so it's unbelievable that she'll wear ... They are the best ? very, very durable. Plus, practical, cute, and multi functional. They are a little pricey, but worth it. We're obviously on our second pair, so that says something.
The best wet weather ... ever I buy these for my little guys and they are the BEST ... out there bar none. Worth every single penny. I bought some different ... (not cheap either and a major brand) and then fell apart in a few weeks. Loved them so much I got some for my husband and myself. They are not especially warm but this is easily fixed by purchasing a pair of the Hunter socks. Will never buy anything else as far as wet weather ... go!

Kid's need well made footwear, not fashionable poorly made substitutes. One ... arrived with "bloom" - DO NOT let this put you off, no need to return the ... either. Simply wash with soap, cold water and a washcloth - this is a natural occurance in the rubber, not a defect. You can't go wrong with these ... Must Have for any child.
Great ... My son lives in his ... We will only buy hunters for our kids. Found most all the gunboots out there have no suport for a growing childs feet. Soo if you know your child will live in there ... go no further, you will not be disapointed you did. They have held up to a 4 year olds constant beating amazingly well. They are now a year old and there is no sign of the rubber starting to crack, feel very confident they will be used for the next sibling. We bought ours at a shop so didn't have any size issues. Just wanted to share our experiance with these ...
Hunter ... I would have to agree that these ... run a little on the small size. They are not roomy but these ... so well made! They are not the typical cheap plastic ... find for little kids. I plan on passing these down to my daughter because I know they will hold up. I bought these for my son to go to our barn with my husband and I like them so much now I want a pair!
They''re great! Our daughter is seven years old and loves these ... finally decided to spend the money and buy the Hunter ... because I looked around and couldn't find anything simple that we both really liked. I have the same ... black and also love them. It seems to rain a lot here and I am happy she finally has a nice pair of rain ... wear to the bus stop and to school. I went with red because they are a gender neutral color so our other children can eventually wear them too which helped justify the cost. I would highly recommend them.
Awesome ... I love these ... have a pair of COACH rainboots that are very stiff and I am unable to drive while wearing them. These hunter ... just the opposite! They are extremley comforable! I wore them for an entire day the first day I put them on and had no problems with discomfort at all! I am 30 years old, but only 5' tall, so when I tried on a pair of woman's Hunters, they were way too tall for me going above my knee. These kids Hunters are perfect for me! They sit a few inches below my knee and are the perfect length. The only thing I am not necessary thrilled with is the reflectors on the back. The adult ... do not have these. It doesn't show the reflectors in the picture, but I knew about them only because I looked at them at [@]in person. I usually wear a 6-7 womans and the 5 youth fits me perfect. 4 was too small.
Kid''s Hunter Boots for Adults I ordered these boots in hunter green, since I already have the Women's Original Tall in black. I figured they would be a fun color, and for half the price, I couldn't go wrong. WRONG! The green was much brighter than I expected - made my feet look like Kermit the Frog. These boots are considerably lower than the adult Original Tall Hunter (which was expected) - probably a good 3 inches lower. I am 5'3'' and found it to be an awkward height, even on my not so long legs! I ordered these ... kids size 5 (women's size 6, as Hunter's do run a bit large, I normally wear a womens 7) - I compared the European size 37 to my Women's Original Tall Hunter ... matched up that way. They fit perfectly, however, I was not happy with the height. Also, if you have larger calves, these seemed to have a bit more room than the adult ones do. Also, there are two reflectors on the back of the ... (one at top, one at bottom). They are VERY bright, and I couldn't get past it. Cute for kids, but I do not think I need reflectors at 28! The price is great if you are using them for function over fashion - adult Hunters are about $125, I paid [$] for the kids with 10% off and free shipping. Sadly, I will be sending these back - BUT, I still LOVE Hunter ... but will have to stick with the adult sizes!
