beautiful shoes! I bought these in the karikole brown. These are absolutely gorgeous in person!! I don't know how these can look cheap at all, because they're very well made and 100% leather. Although these are true to size, I think I have to buy a gel insole because these are rubbing my heels raw!! Besides that, these are very much worth your money. These shoes are definitely an investment piece.
Classic and Lovely! I adore these shoes. The patina is not at all cheap--it almost looks like patent leather which I . They do run a half size large so I got a 61/2 even though I'm usually 7 and they fit great. Not too tight so I can wear them with socks and tights in the winter. I love that they're all leather. The upper, the lining, even the thick, durable sole. I definitely think these will only get better and better with wear. I know it takes a little while to break them in, but once you do they're amazing!
Dreamy The shoes are very cute, but take some breaking in. The color looks like they're much more expensive than they are.
Penny Loafers Finally Finally found these penny loafers at a good price. The quality of the sole and leather was great - well made. But - they went back for being too long for an 8 and 7-1/2 was ideal. They will be difficult to break in across the penny loafer 'band' across the broadest part of the foot; and I can see that other reviewers are probably right that the heel may rub a bit much - but a small price to pay for these classic shoes. In the end, they'll be on my feet for some time and good quality flats that are this handsome are hard to find.
These shoes are very hard on the inside, and hurt your feet especially if you wear them for an extended period of time.
Not a good buy These shoes ran way too small and were really shiny and cheap feeling. They went back to Piperlime.
