Love these These are my third pair of Carson Ballet ... now have them in black, crinkle and brown. My feet are narrow, and it is very difficult for me to find ... stay on my heel. These do! They are super comfortable. I have never had a blister or sore spot from these even when I wear them the first day. The black ones have become my go to shoes. I normally wear a size 9 in shoes. I went down a half size. The toes are a bit tight at first, but stretch to fit quickly. I highly recommend these if you are looking for a nice ...
Love I'm not usually a big fan of spending a lot of money on ... but I have been searching high and low for some nice navy ... since last spring. These ballet shoes in Iris are lovely and the perfect blue for the red dress I plan to wear them with. The leather is soft and the fit is great. I ordered both the 61/2 and 7 based on other reviews and found the seven's too big. I wear a 7 in Frye boots but ballet ... I'm usually slightly smaller. They are very comfortable, they almost feel like a second skin and I don't think they will need to be broken in at all. They are a little slippy on the bottom as other reviewers have said but you can get stick on bottoms that make dress shoes more grippy from any shoe repair shop. I am VERY picky about the shape of the toes on dress shoes, I don't like them too pointy or too rounded. These are perfect. I should mention that the 7's had a funny shape to the toe but perhaps it was just those pair? I really hope that these little shoes last as well as my Frye boots have because they are exactly what I was looking for.
Great, Comfortable, Classy Ballet ... I have a pair of Frye boots that I love, and was hoping that their ballet ... would be just as comfortable and well made. They certainly are! Great leather, comfortable footbed, runs true to size; I can wear all day comfortably.
Guilty Pleasure When I saw this great colored ballet pair of shoes I immediate wanted it until I saw the price. Although they were expensive I knew the "Frye" name would offer something unique and special. The shoes delivered. The detailing and quality of the all leather shoe bring a smile as I know they will be in my collection for years to come. Regarding sizing, I did order as the other reviews suggested and agreed with the suggestions.
really cute ... i own another pair of frye ... absolutely adore. the leather on these ... isn't quite as thick (as they are ballet ... but they are extremely comfortable and very cute. great for spring.
ballet ... The lucky brand emmie ballet ... really nice. I purchased them in black and with the goatskin pattern it looks like a really expensive shoe. I usually wear a 5 in sandals but took a 5.5 in closed back shoe and it fits comfortably. The shoe conforms to the foot with no bulging out and makes a slim foot look even slimmer. I love the ballet ... rage this season and have several different pair and these are a nice addition to my wardrobe.
Perfect these ... fit perfectly (this is my 2nd pair, the first was magenta and still look good after 6 mos of wear) and reminds me of my ballet shoes from when I was little. great for casual wear.
Want another pair I love these ballet ... bought the rose cream color and while they aren't nude, they are neutral enough to go with just about anything - plus they are perfect for spring. I've been wearing them to work and they are very comfy, glad I bought an 8 rather than my true size 7. The real comfort test will be when I take them to Seattle on vacay, but I feel they will be fine; thinking about getting another pair before I leave!

Wonderful ballet ... In most shoes I wear a 7, but after reading the reviews I got a 7.5 and it fit perfectly. The 7 definitely would have been too snug. I bought the color Tortoise (sort of a gypsy print) and it was perfect. Will go with a lot of different outfits. These ... were very comfortable but obviously not meant for walking long distances. I purchased a pair in Black -- been looking for the perfect ballet ... highly recommend.
Great ballet ... First time ordering with Piper....very impressed. Love this ballet ... ordered in my usual size and they fit like a glove, very soft leather and looks great with tights , leggings, skinny jeans.
cute shoe, true to size Got these in today and am super excited! Ive been wanting some neutral ballet ... awhile now. These are pretty comfy, a little snug on the heel where the elastic squeezes your ankle but Im thinking that will stretch out with some wear. Only complaint is the nude color (i think its called something rose in the listing) is a little more gold shimmery than the picture lets on to. Its still a pretty neutral color but if you were buying these ... wear specifically with something that needed a nude I don't think you would be happy with the real color. But if you are just wanting some comfy, neutral ... these are perfect! Overall very satisfied with them. I wear a 8.5 and thats what I ordered and they fit great!
Super cute! This shoe is the perfect combination of cute, yet classic. The color will go with everything!!! Very similar appearance to the Tory Burch with a much lower price. I am not a huge fan of ballet ... have the elastic around the back, but this one is not too tight. I think that after wearing a few times, it will stretch just the perfect amount.
Okay They look like the picture in that they are just a plain ballet ... just disappointed in the color, so they had to be returned. It was supposed to be more of a beige leather, but looked sparkly gold- totally not what I was looking for. On the bright side, I did try them on and they seemed to be true to size and comfortable.
Runs Small I ordered my normal size and the shoes are 1/2 size too small. I have to return them. The back of the shoe scrapes into the back of my heel also...I'm not sure if that's because they are too small, but I can't take any chances. I've had other shoes that were the right size that dug into the back of my heel, so I will not reorder these. Will try a different style ballet ... instead. Other than that, these are super cute.
Lack of heel cushioning I liked these shoes because I had been looking for inexpensive leather ballet ... Unfortunately something about the heel felt uncomfortable. I only wore it around the house for about 30 minutes and knew it wouldn't work. If my heel hurt while cooking and doing the dishes, what would happen when I needed to walk or be on my feet for an extended period of time. Too bad.

Perfect black ballet ... I have been looking for a great pair of black ballet ... found them!! They are so comfortable, I feel like I'm walking on a cloud. These are basic simple black ... but I can wear them with capris, shorts or a skirt!! Just love them!
Loves it!!! I was just walking into work today thinking... oh' my goodness I love these shoes - they're comfortable, lightweight, and has a rubber sole for great friction to the ground. Because they run large (usually a size 11), I had to return them & get a size 10. And because I have slightly wide feet, I just put a slit to create more room & it fits perfectly. I just might have to get more in different colors!?! If you're looking for simple cute ballet type flats - get these!!!
i love these ... I almost always wear heels (as I'm 5'3" ) but these are just adorable and made a ... wearer out of me. I get so many compliments on them. I disagree that they are cheap- mine have lasted almost a year and I wear them once a week in the fall. They are only [$] and I have had [...] ballet ... were almost three times the price and held up about the same. They do run a bit big.

Just what i was looking for The shoe is exactly what I was looking for and was having trouble finding. I do not find it runs large and was glad I ordered my usual size. The fit is typical ballet ... feels fairly loose on the foot even though they are not low cut. There isn't any support, and the sole is thin, so I wouldn't plan to walk a lot in them.
cute shoes! I was looking for some comfortable ballet ... came accross these. They certainly fit the bill. [...] I ordered them in the pewter/metallic color which is a great neutral color and looks like the color on the site. I ordered the size I normally wear (8) and it fits, but it is a little snug in the front, but have stretched out and are more comfortable now. They don't offer a ton of support to do a lot of walking. I bought the shoes in the black animal skin as well and they tend to be a little snugger than the metallic ones (maybe because they are leather?). The shoes are great and comfortbale, you may need to wear them a few times to stretch a little, but I wish they were a little more supportive.
Fine but boring Another fine but boring black ballet ... They don't look the price one bit; actually I ordered a BC ... well and those looked nicer for $10 less. They run a half size large so if you're between sizes, go down. They are also very thin so your toe is likely to stick up at the top which is awkward and looks cheap. I will be returning and will continue looking for something more interesting.
Very wide shoe... I was so bummed...I really liked the look of these shoes online, however...they are very wide. I dont usually have a problem with widths...but these were huge. The lenght is about right, so I couldnt size down. They seem nicely made, nice simple ballet flat.
