Cute basic ballet ...
The shoes are comfy, basic black ballet ... wear with slacks, skirts and dresses.

Loves it!!!
I was just walking into work today thinking... oh' my goodness I love these shoes - they're comfortable, lightweight, and has a rubber sole for great friction to the ground. Because they run large (usually a size 11), I had to return them & get a size 10. And because I have slightly wide feet, I just put a slit to create more room & it fits perfectly. I just might have to get more in different colors!?! If you're looking for simple cute ballet type ... - get these!!!

i love these ...
I almost always wear heels (as I'm 5'3" ) but these are just adorable and made a ... wearer out of me. I get so many compliments on them. I disagree that they are cheap- mine have lasted almost a year and I wear them once a week in the fall. They are only [$] and I have had [...] ballet ... were almost three times the price and held up about the same. They do run a bit big.

The perfect ...
I have been shopping around for the perfect black ... think I found it. I am a size 5/34 and I found this shoe to be true to size. I have pretty narrow feet and I didn't find it to be too wide as other people did. The leather is quite soft, which makes the shoes quite comfortable. Do I think the shoes will last forever? No. But I never expect ... last that long-- especially ballet ... such as these. I personally think they are of great quality for the price.

The perfect ballet flat
These were the perfect ballet ... loved the color pewter,but sadly they didn't fit right on my foot. [...]My return was processed quickly and I will shop with PIPERLIME again.

LOVE THEM!
This is the perfect black skimmer. I didn't want a ballet ... pointy toe. These are cute, pretty comfortable, and well made. I may buy a second pair.

Just what i was looking for
The shoe is exactly what I was looking for and was having trouble finding. I do not find it runs large and was glad I ordered my usual size. The fit is typical ballet ... feels fairly loose on the foot even though they are not low cut. There isn't any support, and the sole is thin, so I wouldn't plan to walk a lot in them.

Fine but boring
Another fine but boring black ballet ... They don't look the price one bit; actually I ordered a BC ... well and those looked nicer for $10 less. They run a half size large so if you're between sizes, go down. They are also very thin so your toe is likely to stick up at the top which is awkward and looks cheap. I will be returning and will continue looking for something more interesting.

Very wide shoe...
I was so bummed...I really liked the look of these shoes online, however...they are very wide. I dont usually have a problem with widths...but these were huge. The lenght is about right, so I couldnt size down. They seem nicely made, nice simple ballet ...

Bland and expensive
I thought they were fine as a simple black ballet ... but they were a bit pricey for the quality. I think I could get something similar at payless and pay less.

Flimsy,like cheap china ...
I was so excited to see these shoes, I bought two pairs. I'd previously bought a pair of Kenneth Cole ballet ... just loved. They were more expensive than this, but I bought them on sale at about the same price. They were a real shoe--stylish, professional looking, and sturdy--a shoe I could wear them in the city. But this pair--they're so flimsy! You can see the indentations of your toes right through, and after driving in them ONCE, the backs peeled off. They're so flimsy, like cheap [...] flats--not professional enough to wear with a suit. I wear them in an office with more casual clothes, but if I wore them in the city for a minute, not only would they be uncomfortable, I am certain they'd fall apart after 10 minutes. I am SO disappointed! Also, I am between sizes--and 8.5 and 9, and as recommended, I bought the 8.5--a BIG mistake.I should have bought the 9.

Love these
These are my third pair of Carson Ballet ... now have them in black, crinkle and brown. My feet are narrow, and it is very difficult for me to find ... stay on my heel. These do! They are super comfortable. I have never had a blister or sore spot from these even when I wear them the first day. The black ones have become my go to shoes. I normally wear a size 9 in shoes. I went down a half size. The toes are a bit tight at first, but stretch to fit quickly. I highly recommend these if you are looking for a nice ...

Love
I'm not usually a big fan of spending a lot of money on ... but I have been searching high and low for some nice navy ... since last spring. These ballet shoes in Iris are lovely and the perfect blue for the red dress I plan to wear them with. The leather is soft and the fit is great. I ordered both the 61/2 and 7 based on other reviews and found the seven's too big. I wear a 7 in Frye boots but ballet ... I'm usually slightly smaller. They are very comfortable, they almost feel like a second skin and I don't think they will need to be broken in at all. They are a little slippy on the bottom as other reviewers have said but you can get stick on bottoms that make dress shoes more grippy from any shoe repair shop. I am VERY picky about the shape of the toes on dress shoes, I don't like them too pointy or too rounded. These are perfect. I should mention that the 7's had a funny shape to the toe but perhaps it was just those pair? I really hope that these little shoes last as well as my Frye boots have because they are exactly what I was looking for.

Great, Comfortable, Classy Ballet ...
I have a pair of Frye boots that I love, and was hoping that their ballet ... would be just as comfortable and well made. They certainly are! Great leather, comfortable footbed, runs true to size; I can wear all day comfortably.

Guilty Pleasure
When I saw this great colored ballet pair of shoes I immediate wanted it until I saw the price. Although they were expensive I knew the "Frye" name would offer something unique and special. The shoes delivered. The detailing and quality of the all leather shoe bring a smile as I know they will be in my collection for years to come. Regarding sizing, I did order as the other reviews suggested and agreed with the suggestions.

really cute ...
i own another pair of frye ... absolutely adore. the leather on these ... isn't quite as thick (as they are ballet ... but they are extremely comfortable and very cute. great for spring.

Very happy!!
Great little comfortable ... feel they are true to size and the elastic is not too tight in the back. I am between an 8.5 and a 9 - I ordered the 8.5 and they are perfect. I prefer ballet ... because I like the snug fit and they flatter your feet. I ordered the mandarin and a few days later ordered the leopard, when I noticed they were back in stock. The mandarin is not as dark as pictured above – it is a lighter orange & a nice pop of color on your feet. I would definitely recommend these!

ballet ...
The lucky brand emmie ballet ... really nice. I purchased them in black and with the goatskin pattern it looks like a really expensive shoe. I usually wear a 5 in sandals but took a 5.5 in closed back shoe and it fits comfortably. The shoe conforms to the foot with no bulging out and makes a slim foot look even slimmer. I love the ballet ... rage this season and have several different pair and these are a nice addition to my wardrobe.

Great ballet ...
First time ordering with Piper....very impressed. Love this ballet ... ordered in my usual size and they fit like a glove, very soft leather and looks great with tights , leggings, skinny jeans.

Whoo hoo!
LOVE these!! I got the rose cream color and the patterned fabric ones. I wore the rose cream today to work and could not be happier. They are the perfect "nude" color for my skin tone, but with a little warm pink shimmer to them. If you are looking for a support shoe, these are not the shoe. I actually felt like I was padding around in slippers, which i really enjoyed. I have tried other similar ballet ... have returned them, after an hour they were hurting my feet so much that I had to switch to heels for relief. After one day in these, I might get the black and Grey ones too.

Cute but pretty pink
Cute simple ballet ... comfortable (though seems to run a 1/2 size small). I returned because it was more pink that tan.

cute shoe, true to size
Got these in today and am super excited! Ive been wanting some neutral ballet ... awhile now. These are pretty comfy, a little snug on the heel where the elastic squeezes your ankle but Im thinking that will stretch out with some wear. Only complaint is the nude color (i think its called something rose in the listing) is a little more gold shimmery than the picture lets on to. Its still a pretty neutral color but if you were buying these ... wear specifically with something that needed a nude I don't think you would be happy with the real color. But if you are just wanting some comfy, neutral ... these are perfect! Overall very satisfied with them. I wear a 8.5 and thats what I ordered and they fit great!

Super cute!
This shoe is the perfect combination of cute, yet classic. The color will go with everything!!! Very similar appearance to the Tory Burch with a much lower price. I am not a huge fan of ballet ... have the elastic around the back, but this one is not too tight. I think that after wearing a few times, it will stretch just the perfect amount.

Cute shoe but no support
This is a very cute ... looks and feels like a ballet ... usually am a perfect size 7 in every shoe, but had to get the 7 1/2 in this shoe because there was no toe room otherwise. I ordered the black, which is exactly as pictured. It is a nice shoe, looks good with jeans or yoga pants, but definitely not for walking long distances as it offers no real support. The sole is very thin, so when walking on pavement, you almost feel barefoot.

Runs Small
I ordered my normal size and the shoes are 1/2 size too small. I have to return them. The back of the shoe scrapes into the back of my heel also...I'm not sure if that's because they are too small, but I can't take any chances. I've had other shoes that were the right size that dug into the back of my heel, so I will not reorder these. Will try a different style ballet ... instead. Other than that, these are super cute.

Color not as described
I ordered these shoes in a size 8 (normally 7.5-8) and they fit TTS but they ran a little wide. I was looking for a nude colored ballet ... opened them I noticed that they are more pink than the picture and they also have a sparkly/sheen look to them. I wasn't impressed, they are headed back!

Lack of heel cushioning
I liked these shoes because I had been looking for inexpensive leather ballet ... Unfortunately something about the heel felt uncomfortable. I only wore it around the house for about 30 minutes and knew it wouldn't work. If my heel hurt while cooking and doing the dishes, what would happen when I needed to walk or be on my feet for an extended period of time. Too bad.
