A convert! I was initially on the fence regarding desert boots, but am totally on board now! I just received these boots and think they're great for casual wear. I find the fit to be slightly narrow, but not enough to cause any discomfort. I can't wait to wear them tomorrow!
Elf shoes? That's what I thought when I first saw them, but I love my green desert boots! The leather is super soft and they're surprisingly comfortable. Not much arch support, but with the crepe sole my feet are fine at the end of the day. Love the green color, different but still goes with lots of stuff.
Great shoes! I just got my Clark desert boots and love them~ I read all the reviews before and decided to buy them. Went with a size 8 I usually wear 8-8.5. I got the lighter tan color. Wish i had bought the darker brown ones too!
awesome ... Love these boots!! Had a pair when I was young, and love them just as much as I did when i was in the fourth grade. Very cute with straight leg/skinny pants. They do stain easily, even after I put on a spray protectant. If you've got wide feet, these may not work for you. Highly recommend these shoes!!
Love this shoe. So happy this iconic style has returned. Cannot wait for cooler weather to shed my flipflops and wear my new desert boots. I like the slightly distressed look of the leather. Comfy shoes with attitude.
Where have these been all my life? Seriously, how did I not own these shoes sooner? These boots arrived yesterday, and I've been wearing them all day today. I love the color, the oiled suede, and the fit of this shoe. I am a teacher and also work retail and needed a comfortable casual shoe that was not a sneaker that I could wear all day at work. This ... best thing I've found in a long time. I can tell I'll wear these all the time with khakis, jeans, even some casual skirts.
Love the style! I love, love, love these boots! I've gotten so many compliments on my Taupe Distressed Leather and two of my friends are already out to get their own pair. I wear a 6-6 1/2 and I opted for the 6 1/2 because I like some extra room in my boots. I just put inserts and wear thicker socks. The top part of the shoe would dig into my foot at first, but wearing thicker socks helped and felt better after breaking them in.
Seen in Lucky I first saw these boots in Lucky magazine last winter and loved them. I searched many sites to get them, but they were sold out. I ordered the size 9 on Piperlime (hoping they would fit) because I normally wear an 8 1/2 and my size was unavailable. I have to send them back because they run true to size and the 9 is too long. I may give them to my college daughter. I love the look and think they would be great with short skirts and ankle pants. They are very flat and may not be suitable for a lot of walking, but the look is great.
interesting shoes These shoes are soft, look comfortable, and have a cute denim lining. I wanted to like them, but they were just not for me. The fit was slightly narrow (I do have a wide foot), and the heel to low. These shoes reminded me a little too much of work boots. However, I can see how they might be charming on the right person.
comfy shoes These boots are a great casual style. Looks great wtih cargo and skinny. The color is a shade darker than what is pictured. The size is true fit length wise, but i found it to be a bit on the narrow side. Sadly i will be sending them back =(
See Below Very odd. I seem to have had the same problem as the reviewer below. When I received the boots (great price, BTW), they were laughably tiny and oddly narrow. I actually own several pairs of these so I'm aware of how the sizing can be a bit tricky, but these looked more like either a women's size or even children's. Yet they were stamped on the inside with "Mens." I'm wondering Piperlime got a defective batch or something? Either way, I returned them within the hour and am sure the refund will be happening soon. I also spoke to someone in customer service and suggested they verify some of their inventory just in case they run into this again. Great price, speedy service, too bad it didn't work out.

"Best Shoe I Ever Had..." ...my boyfriend says. I bought these for him after getting some Frye boots for myself. He loves them. He says they are comfortable and sexy. He wears them to work on casual days and also out at night. They are a little stiff to begin with and then loosen up. I think they look great and I love the ankle height.

Great Boots! Like most boots these are designed for colder weather and meant to be worn with thicker socks, so I ordered 1/2 a size down to counter this and they fit perfectly fine. These are some high quality boots! The leather is thick, rich, and has a beautiful color which I can imagine will develop a wonderful patina the more they're worn. My only complaint is that they're a bit uncomfortable (even with some new balance insoles) but they are supposed to mold to the shape of my foot so I can imagine I just need to wear them more. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and I always get compliments when I wear them.
