Great soccer or kicking around shoes
These are super cute shoes. My son had white pair and now got black pair. He uses them for indoor and futsal. They are great shoes, but do run a little narrow.

CUTE
The other reviewers were right about these being a bit hard to get on, but the shoes are so cute it doesn't matter. I've noticed that they get easier after a few days, so maybe the elastic and/or the leather stretches a bit. We ordered two sizes to try to get the fit right. The smaller one fit now and we kept the bigger one for later since they're so adorable. LOVE these!

So cute
My son had these in the blue/orange comination, when I ordered those I didn't even realize they were elastic until we got them and I loved them even more. My son has no problems putting them on and I don't have to tie his shoes; I've seen reviews complaining about the shoes being too tight which might be true, but my little one has pretty slim feet, so that's probably why they work for us. I ordered the black ones this time and I would more than likely order them again next year, maybe a different color...

Good ...
I bought these sneakers for my 2 year old daughter & she really likes them! The only problem we had were with the elastic ... strings which make it hard to put the shoes on & off. I cut them & just put in regular ... strings & they're good for her now. I would definitely recommend these sneakers as long as your child doesn't have a wide foot.

Great shoes, just switch out the laces
I love these sneakers and bought both the black and white pairs for my 2-year old son. He gets tons of compliments in them and seems to be comfortable when he's running around in these shoes. Yes, the stretchy laces were ridiculous and I initially could barely squeeze my son's feet into the shoes (nor did they look comfortable once on) so I bought black and white shoelaces at [@] for $3/pair, cut the original shoelaces OFF the shoes and put in the new normal shoelaces. Now I can open the shoes to put them on my son's feet and tie them to fit his feet comfortably. It was also super easy to cut off the silly stretchy laces and there were holes already created to restring new shoelaces in. The shoes would get 5 stars if I didn't have to put in new shoelaces. Also the black pair have held up really well with hardly any indication of use whereas the white obviously get dirty pretty fast.

cool sneakers... but no shoelaces, the string does not stretch enough it's difficult to put the shoes on.

Too Narrow for Small But-Fat Baby Feet - I Made It Work
I ordered these in a size 4 infant, and they were way too narrow and honestly, lengthwise they were the same as my daughter's size 3 shoes that she is about to outgrow. I sent them back and got the next size up, and was surprised that I could not fit them on her feet, either. Since I really like these shoes and wanted her to have a pair, I thought I would make them work. I took a look at the elastic "laces," realizing that I could cut them out and replace with regular laces. Once I did that, they were no longer narrow, and though the 5 is slightly bigger than her size, she will grow into them and be able to wear them by the end of the summer.

Cute ... - Wrong Design
I was really excited to get these shoes since they don't have real laces that have to be tied - but once I got them and tried them on my 3 1/2 year old he kept screaming to take them off. I could barely even get them on his feet - they had to be stretched open so far to even get his foot in that it wasn't comfortable for him. It's a good idea but not designed very well!

Not made for toddlers
I had to return these shoes even though I love the way they look. They are not made for a squirmy toddler with a wide foot. The problem was with the elastic stretch laces. I wish the shoes had regular laces like the bigger ones. Too bad!

Sad they were didn''t fit correctly
Love these shoes but they were very hard to get on my 4 year old. He doesn't have wide feet but these seemed narrow. Main problem being the laces do strech, but not enough for him to get on himself. I had to smash his feet in! Sending them back.

I though stretch laces would be a time saver, but these shoes don't open wide enough to get a foot inside. They are adorable, but they are going back.

I love these shoes!!
This is the 3rd pair I buy for my baby. I just love them. They go with everything and the velcro straps are a plus. The straps on the second pair that I puchased were damaged, [...]. I don't know when I will stop replacing these shoes for my son as he grows out of them.

Love them!
I bought these shoes for my 16 month old. It fits perfect and she looks so adorable in them. Easy to put on and off. My husband even said we should get them for our 5 year old.

Shell toes rock!
My son rocks these with his RUNDMC onesie from Old Navy. These shoes are just as cool now as they were when I was a kid. He loves them and so do we! They seem to be very comfortable and well made.

Great Shoes
We love the shoes! They fit great and I love the velcro closure. Happy I bought them.

Velcro quality is poor
We love these shoes for our son, but the fuzzy side of the velcro closures has become so fuzzy after only 4 weeks of daily wear that they don't stay velcroed anymore. It's a bummer because we love the shoes, and I've contacted the company to see if they will refund our money or send us a new pair of shoes to try.

Love these shoes!
I have been purchasing these shoes for my son since he was three (he is now 7). They are comfortable, look great, and can take a beating! I like the fact that they are machine washable, too. So easy to care for! He can only wear all white sneakers to school, so these are perfect! I feel that they run a little large, though. He is always a half size smaller in these than Nike. I would take advantage of Piperlime's free returns and order two sizes to try.

We love this ...
I don't know what I would do without these shoes. We have made them part of our school uniform for the past 9 years. The thick soles and rubber up the toe make them the toughest shoes we've ever owned. Our playground is literally the parking lot of our church next door. Most shoes have chunks of leather missing within a week, but not these. I have even washed them in the washing machine in the past. Currently, I use a Mr. Clean eraser once a week and wash the ... laces here and there (on the bigger kids style) and the shoes look great until they grow out of them. My only complaint was that for some reason I had difficulty locating them on the website. Don't scare me like that Piperlime!!

Handsome little fellas
I absolutely LOVE these shoes. My almost 4 year old does too, he won't wear anything else since these arrived in the mail. I find they run true to size & the best part is they don't come untied (these are the first laced shoes we've tried). I love the neutral color & that they go with everything. They are also a better price here than in other stores. I will be buying these again for sure.

These shoes are so versatile, they coordinate with so much. My husband doesn't typically comment on my son's wardrobe, but he mentioned a couple of times that he really liked these. Thankfully I read the reviews prior to placing my order. I sized up and I'm glad I did.

Cute ...
We originally ordered the Samba Classics and they ran narrow. I was puzzled so I looked at the black Samba's we purchased last year and noticed they were the Samba Originals, so I sent the Classics back and got this one. This one fits well (it's not too narrow) and looks super cute with the narrow jeans. My son loves them! I agree with another review I read that the shoes squeek when my son walks, but my husband thinks this will go away as they get worn in, which doesn't take long for a 6 year old boy! We like the versatile color.

Adorable and practical!
I purchased the size 11 Sambas for my four year old son who had just outgrown his size 10 sneakers. The size 11's seemed to pinch his pinky toes a little so we returned them and orderd a half size up. The 11.5 pair fits him well with decent room in the toebox to grow, yet shoes fit snugly and do not fall off when he runs. Laces stay tied, they look sharp and sporty. Will definitely consider purchasing another pair when he outgrows these!

Love these shoes!!!
This is my 3rd time buying these shoes. Twice in black and once in light blue. Both my boys LOVES them. They play soccer indoors, turf, street and it still looks great!! This is the only shoes they want to wear...

Best leather upper shoes for the price. I have small adult women's feet and I STILL FIT into these amazing shoes. Got em on sale and was worth every penny. indoor season 2012 here I come!

Classic
These shoes are excellent! They are a classic, my mom had a pair back in the 70's, I had a pair in the 90's and now all 4 of my sons have owned a pair of ... Samba's at one time or another. My fussy 9 year old son LOVES these kicks. I recommend them to anyone!

My son, who is 8, loves these shoes. He has been wearing them everyday since he got them. I like that he can wear them with all kinds of outfits.

Awesome tennis shoes!
My son is a 7 yr. old avid soccer fan and player, this shoes have become his perfect tennis shoes. He wants to wear them all the time, but at the same time he doesn't want to step on them, or get them dirty. He loooooved them!!! He says they are confortable, cool and perfect for playing soccer on grass or at the gym. My husband at first, didn't like them much. At first sight, on the computer, he thought the shoes were expensive and completely convensional. He changed his mind pretty quickly when we got them and also, looking our son so happy and confortable with his new tennis shoes. I predict we'll keep buying this model for a very long time.

My 11 year old son loved his new ... Apparently the samba is a new trend among kids and I didn't even know about it when I purchased it. My 13 year old got jealous so I will have to buy another pair :) This shoes are great for soccer and PE and it seems very durable.

I purchased these for my 4 year old son and he absolutely LOVES them! He can't wait for the first day of school to start wearing them. When I played soccer I owned my own pair of ... Sambas. Now that my children are old enough to appreciate such a great ... decided to order them for both my 11 and 8 year old. These sneakers are right on! They're generous in the width which is perfect for my son as he has my wide feet...poor baby! The velcro is easy on easy off! Perfect for parents with active kids who don't give you a second to get their shoes off before they want to run around. I bought a half size up to allow room for my son to grow in them and they still fit great! These sneakers are a WIN!

I bought these shoes for my daughter and I LOVE them!! She didn't have any plain white sneakers that she could wear with everything so when I saw these I just had to buy them! They fit really well and are very easy to put on her (even when she is squirming!). I DEFINITELY recommend getting a pair of these! <3

Best baby sneakers
I bought these for my 13-month old daughter to match mine, and they turned out to be extremely functional as well as super cute. I love them. First, they're awesome because they were actually available in sizes below 4 (her feet are very tiny, so it was difficult to find hard soled shoes that would actually fit her). Second, they stabilize her very well so she's able to walk better than she could without them. Third, and most importantly, they're EXTREMELY easy to get on and off quickly, but they aren't so loose that they fall off her feet or are easily pulled off by her. I love love love these shoes!

Too Cute to pass up!
This shoes are super cute and holds my 7 months chunky foot in without being too tight. They match everything. I put it with sweats and even with Khaki's and a dress shirt and little vest!

Great, stylish ... toddlers w/ wide feet
I hesitated buying these shoes online because my son has very wide feet and these shoes didn't come in wide. I loved the style though, so decided to try them out. I was pleasantly surprised to find they slip on and off very easily and there is plenty of room for his foot. Also, three velcro straps makes tightening up the ... super fast and easy!
